The Bagram air base is 50 kilometres north of Kabul, Afghanistan.

My head is spinning... Why would Trump want to re-appropriate this base now? For his impending war against Iran for Israel's benefit?
No one believes this is about China's 'nuclear facilities'.
This is nuts. Trump's MAGA base needs to revolt and remind him of his campaign promises of 'peace' and 'america first'.

Trump issues threat to Afghanistan over Bagram air base
The US president said “bad things” will happen if the Taliban doesn’t surrender the key airfield

US President Donald Trump has threatened unspecified reprisals if the Taliban government in Afghanistan fails to hand over the Bagram Air Base, which was abandoned during the American withdrawal.

American troops hastily evacuated the base in July 2021, a month before Taliban fighters seized Kabul, toppling the UN-backed government and ending the 20-year US occupation of the country.

Trump said earlier that he is seeking to reestablish control over the airfield, which he described as being close to China’s nuclear facilities.

“If Afghanistan doesn’t give Bagram Airbase back to those that built it, the United States of America, BAD THINGS ARE GOING TO HAPPEN!!!” the president wrote on his Truth Social platform on Saturday.
The Taliban has ruled out the return of American forces, while China backed Afghanistan’s sovereignty and accused Washington of “stirring up tension and confrontation in the region.”

Although Trump negotiated the US withdrawal during his first term, he blamed the rapid Taliban takeover on former President Joe Biden, calling the chaotic departure of the last American soldiers “a disgrace.”

Originally built by the Soviet Union, the Bagram airfield was modernized and expanded during the US occupation, serving as America’s largest outpost in Afghanistan. Trump has repeatedly claimed that China is secretly using the base, a charge denied by both Beijing and the Taliban.

Yes. Strange turn of events but if the US goes in this time they will be dealing not just with the Taliban but with Russia. i don't think this move is only about China.

I would guess it is about minerals .

Afghanistan possesses vast untapped mineral resources, with estimates of their total value ranging from $1 trillion to over $3 trillion.
The country has over 1,400 identified mineral fields containing a wide array of resources, including copper, gold, iron ore, lithium, rare earth elements, natural gas, petroleum, and precious and semi-precious stones like lapis lazuli and rubies.
The Mes Aynak copper deposit in Logar Province alone holds over 12 million metric tons of copper, valued at more than $50 billion, while the Hajigak iron ore deposit is estimated to contain up to 2 billion metric tons of high-grade ore.
Significant lithium reserves are located in provinces such as Ghazni, Nuristan, and Helmand, with potential that may exceed Bolivia's, and the country also holds substantial deposits of rare earth elements crucial for modern technology.

“We built those poppy fields in Afghanistan. They produced the Greatest Heroin.

    We will grow them back!

Thank you for the attention to this matter.”

    — US President Donald Trump.

After the US-NATO occupation of Afghanistan ended, opium poppy production fell 99% in the country's largest province, Helmand.

At the same time, wheat production nearly doubled.

During the US-NATO war, Afghan opium was the #1 source for global heroin production.

Remember how the zionists like to boast that Israel is the only democracy in the middle east?

Here's the main headline today in Haaretz (Israeli media). Most of the other articles are highly critical of the Netanyahu governement or the war on Gaza.

Netanyahu's Plot to Obstruct Israel's Next Election Sparks an Unexpected Call to Action
With mounting coalition pressure on the election process, Israel's former prime minister Naftali Bennett issued both a warning and a reassurance, stressing that his bloc will not prevail by playing nice or assuming the vote will be fair

Concerns about Israel's next election being obstructed or postponed have recently spread like a plague through liberal regions of the political map and opposition voters. This is a natural response to the criminal, mafia-like conduct of the governing coalition, which has been riding roughshod over every basic norm and fighting the legal system with no less determination than the army displays in the Gaza Strip.

Most of the other articles are highly critical of the Netanyahu governement or the war on Gaza.

The guy paying his price doesn't like it:

Quote Hamas published on Monday a video that shows one of the Israeli prisoners still held in Gaza blaming the Israeli political and military command for procrastinating their release and insisting on the continuation of the war, which directly threatens their lives.

Due to Netanyahu’s stubborness, he has been held captive in Gaza City for more than 700 days, Hamas titled the video.

The Prisoner Alon Ohel thanked his family for assuming a hard responsibility, saying: “Unfortunately, calling for the prisoner release has become a crime.”

Ohel also begged the US administration to stop supporting the decisions of the “insane” Netanyahu.

The oldest, continuously functioning "democracies" in the world are the loya jirga of Afghanistan. No one took that into their studies to determine if Israel was an outgrowth of it, but I have seen that within four years of inception, it inspired the phrase Totalitarian Democracy. So, yes, a place where people can vote, carved out by Fascist death squads and bearing a leadership that does not respond.

    What an abomination.

In other recent jokes, the Taliban spit on Trump:

Quote “Even if you recognise us and rebuild from scratch – let alone Bagram – we will not give up even one metre of this country,” said Amir Khan Muttaqi, the country’s foreign minister.

However the Pak Taliban had a little accident where they blew up fourteen of themselves and ten passers-by:

That's one among many of the Paki militant paradise of camps, so many it is hard to tell how many kinds there are, some being state-friendly and others not. There are different ideas about liberating Pakistan from America, some of which would break the whole Pakistan.

Meanwhile, although the "Two state solution" appears to arise, this is not much different than 1979. The objection is that it leaves Israel intact. This is why Iran opposes the deal; you'll get some weak, comprador PLO government running as another disarmed security blanket for the entity.

Considering the state of things, it may be necessary for everyone to get their feet on the ground, but it has no real prospect for being permanent. Only removing the Occupation can do that.

Over 75 Italian cities were brought to a standstill by a massive pro-Palestine general strike. The 24-hour mobilization, led by grassroots unions, saw transport, education, and logistics sectors paralyzed. Protesters demanded the recognition of a Palestinian state, a full arms embargo on Israel, sanctions on the Netanyahu government, and an end to the ongoing conflict in Gaza. In a dramatic show of solidarity, port workers blocked weapons shipments, while in Milan, clashes broke out between protesters and police.

I met with Syrian President Abu Mohammad al-Julani, leader of al-Qaeda in Syria, to reaffirm America’s long tradition of shaking hands with the very extremists we once vowed to destroy. Together, we discussed how “sanctions relief” can help our favorite jihadists prosper, and how Israel-Syria relations thrive best when Washington launders terrorism into “democracy.”

    Fixed it.

    WikiLeaks

Israeli-Aligned Billionaires Seize TikTok in Battle for U.S. Narrative Control

The White House has announced that the forced sale of TikTok will be finalized this week. The new ownership led by Larry Ellison - the largest individual donor to the IDF - will take control of U.S. user data and the algorithm which the White House says will be "retrained".

Ellison, who made his fortune developing Oracle - a database system he originally built for the CIA - already controls CBS, Paramount, MTV, Comedy Central, Showtime, Nickelodeon (which makes kids shows) as well as Channel 10 in Australia and Channel 5 in the UK. Ellison is also expected to finalize control over Warner Bros. Discovery (including CNN, HBO and the Discovery channel) before the end of 2025.

Even before the forced sale is finalised, censorship of TikTok content critical of Israel, including of the deal itself, has reached extreme levels as the platform moves to align with its prospective new owners. Fox – a Murdoch asset - is also seeking to join the Ellison consortium, a move that could enable cross-promotion between Fox and TikTok, further tightening the Israeli-aligned information bubble.

Disapproval of what Israel is doing in Gaza has risen to 60% of the US population, nearly double the approval rate of 32%.

The U.S. still has over three years of Trump left. Israeli-aligned Jewish billionaires control OpenAI, Google, Meta/Facebook/Instagram/WhatsApp, Palantir, CBS, HBO, and most of Conde Nast (Reddit, Vogue, The New Yorker, Wired, GQ, Vanity Fair) as well as numerous Hollywood studios, regional papers and radio stations.

Europe, meanwhile, remains largely absent, offering little real competition in the information space. Its one real success story? Telegram, which it managed to comprehensively alienate after France arrested its founder, supposedly for not handing over enough user data.

Will the EU and other U.S. allies align with the “Israelified” TikTok algorithm, or attempt to create a politicised alternative of their own?

Decentralised alternatives like Keet and Nostr offer strong resistance to censorship but are still young. Larger platforms like Telegram and Rednote carry serious risks of censorship, including eventual sell-off to other interests. For users the sweet spot may be to use both. One for political reliability, the others for a (politically temporary) audience.

Britain faces Palestinian reparations demand that could cost £ 2 trillion

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas demands reparations

Britain’s recognition of a Palestinian state was quickly followed by a demand for money. Within days, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas called on the United Kingdom to pay reparations for its administration of the region under the British Mandate between 1917 and 1948. Estimates of the claim reach as high as £ 2 trillion. Hamas called the recognition a victory.

The demand has already divided British politics. Shadow Home Secretary Robert Jenrick dismissed it as “ahistorical nonsense” and pledged that no taxpayer funds would be used. Reform UK leader Nigel Farage said the recognition was a mistake. On the Labour side, a few MPs have echoed past sympathies for reparations arguments, but the government insists recognition was symbolic and does not trigger payments. Legal experts agree the chances of success are slim. Britain could rely on sovereign immunity, the sheer passage of time, and the lack of direct causation to block any claim. But the demand still matters, because symbolic recognition has now been converted into political leverage.

This is how symbolic gestures turn into costly disputes. No money is changing hands today, but the debate has started, and once it begins, it rarely disappears. Reparations for slavery and colonialism have become permanent points of contention in other countries. Now Britain has opened the door to the same arguments in the Middle East.

And it does not stop at Britain. Other European states that have recognized Palestine could be next in line for demands. The Palestinian Authority has signalled its strategy: to secure symbolic recognition and leverage it into financial and political claims. Hamas will continue to frame each step as a victory, strengthening its hand while violence and hostage-taking continue.

Which brings us back to Canada. Prime Minister Mark Carney chose to follow along, recognizing Palestine without parliamentary approval, without serious debate, and without weighing the consequences for our allies. It was not in his election platform, and it was not put before Canadians. He acted unilaterally, chasing symbolism over substance.

    Article content
Canada’s recognition provides Hamas with the same propaganda win it claimed in Britain. Worse, it signals to Israel, one of our closest allies, that our support is negotiable. Israel is not just another country. It has been a partner in intelligence, technology, and security, and it shares the democratic values Canada claims to stand for. To turn our back on them in order to follow Europe’s lead is a mistake that will weaken our credibility.

I do not want war. I don’t believe anyone does. But rewarding terrorism does not create peace. Recognition handed out while the hostages remain captive is not a path to stability. It is a signal that violence pays.

Britain is already dealing with the consequences of its decision. Is Canada far behind? The moment Abbas and Hamas see an opening, will they take it? The problem is not that reparations could succeed in court; the problem is that recognition creates the expectation that demands are legitimate. Once that expectation takes hold, it reshapes debates, fuels grievances, and burdens allies who are already stretched thin.

Carney should have known better. Instead, he followed the leader, ignoring the risks, ignoring Israel, and ignoring the Canadians who never had a say. Recognition may be symbolic, but the fallout is real. Britain has already learned that lesson the hard way.

    Wikileaks,

Alaa Abd El-Fattah, one of Egypt’s most prominent political prisoners, has been granted a presidential pardon.

The 43-year-old pro-democracy activist was arrested in 2019 during a crackdown on dissent and sentenced in 2021 to five years for “spreading false news” after highlighting the death of a prisoner under torture.

After years of imprisonment and repeated hunger strikes, his release marks a significant moment in the struggle for human rights.

🇺🇸🇸🇾 New York | Mobile billboards are rolling through Manhattan this week, exposing atrocities committed in Syria by Abu Mohammad al-Jolani and his HTS/ISIS network.

According to reports, 26 advertising vehicles have been deployed around the city, coinciding with the UN General Assembly and the presence of world leaders and Jolani himself.

The screens display harrowing imagery, survivor testimony, and statistics: hundreds of villages destroyed, 200,000+ displaced civilians, thousands killed.

The campaign calls for an independent international inquiry into war crimes and mass killings attributed to Jolani’s forces.

Israeli Peace Activist: My Mother Was Killed on Oct 7. Here's Why I Support Palestinian Statehood.

Following the U.K., Australia, Canada and Portugal's formal recognition of Palestine as a sovereign and independent state, Democracy Now!
Speaks with Israeli peace activist Yonatan Zeigen in Tel Aviv. "This is a belated but blessed step forward," says Zeigen. "We need to level the field in order for us, Israelis and Palestinians, to be able to shape the only viable future for us, which is a shared future." Zeigen's mother, Vivian Silver, a 74-year-old Canadian Israeli peace activist, was killed on October 7, 2023, during the Hamas attack on Kibbutz Be'eri.

France and Canada Recognise Palestine, Will it end the Gaza war? | Vantage on Firstpost | N18G

Israeli allies, including Canada, France and Portugal, have recognised the State of Palestine in a bid to pressure Israel into ending the Gaza war.

Prime minister Netanyahu has condemned the move as "rewarding" Hamas for the October 7 attack. How will this recognition affect the war? Alyson Le Grange tells you.

Here is a rare admission of damage:

Quote A senior Israeli official was reportedly targeted in a successful drone operation carried out by Yemen, Hamid Abdul Qader Antar said.

Speaking to Sputnik, Brigadier-General Hamid Abdul Qader Antar linked threats made by Israel’s war minister against the Ansarullah leader to the drone strike that hit a hotel in the occupied city of Eilat. He described the Israeli minister’s statements as “unusual” and a response to the effectiveness of Yemen’s operation, noting that the Israeli official lacks knowledge of the power and resilience of Yemeni forces.

He further revealed that leaked information from some Israeli media indicated the targeted drone strike specifically hit a high-ranking Israeli official, explaining the subsequent threats from Israel’s war ministry.

Earlier this week, Israeli media released footage showing a Yemeni drone striking a hotel in Eilat, causing a fire in the hotel compound. Following the incident, Israel’s war minister publicly called for the assassination of the Ansarallah leader, prompting heightened tensions.

Netanyahu is angrily accusing nations who recently recognized the state of Palestine of "rewarding terrorism".

Following UK and France recognition of the state of Palestine, reports began appearing in Uk and France media of impending 'islamist terror attacks'.
Also, Laura Loomer, an american zionist, made similar allegations, i.e. another 9/11 attack within the next year by "ISLAMIC TERRORISTS".

Listing Israel's history of staging false flags attacks which they blame on Arabs.

Why Are Zionists SUDDENLY Warning of Another 9/11?

I met with Syrian President Abu Mohammad al-Julani, leader of al-Qaeda in Syria, to reaffirm America’s long tradition of shaking hands with the very extremists we once vowed to destroy. Together, we discussed how “sanctions relief” can help our favorite jihadists prosper, and how Israel-Syria relations thrive best when Washington launders terrorism into “democracy.”

    Fixed it.

To, me, all other developments in the news considered, it looks like Netanyahu and his British/Blackrock/Davos handlers are in a slowly closing vice. They are desperately hanging on to ever decreasing ( deliberately and tactically so ) stabilisation support from the US while the greater world liberation movement does a slow motion end run around their whole operation.

The Ukraine situation seems to be forming a parallel equivalent vice grip on the greater European cartel, since Putin and Trump met in Alaska.

This is no time to be reading things at face value. It's already a world war and has been for several years. No war I'm aware of ever proceeded without horrible innocent casualties. Any one of us reading this can fall in this war. It ain't over till it's over.

The whole purge war-front has to proceed as a steady unbroken line. From the well alt-media documented internal US purge to the most unlikely hidden global networks that have so far had no news coverage at all.

If it's not complete, it's not really a purge. The stakes are the highest they have ever been.

Krystal and Ryan discuss Italy and Spain sending military ships to assist the Gaza aid flotillas.... Italian people lynched their facist dictator.. back in the days and I am so sure, they are willing and able to do it today too... if necessary... Meloni surely is aware of this.... we see the whole country standing up for Gaza... lately in solidarity and the flotilla is prove of that...
