The TI Blues: A Look At A Recent Failed Attempt At Cooperation
The Eventual Successful Instructor Will Be Harsh

The whole exchange reminded me of something I’ve seen too many times: you reach out to someone because you think they might be worth the effort, and within a few minutes you realize they’re not in a place for anything except their own reflection. I contacted him originally because I could see that I had experience as a TI that could help him, and I thought he might have something to offer — shielding knowledge, insight, real experience, something. He talked like he did. He hinted at expertise, implied he had contributions sitting on deck, had written several books, and presented himself as someone operating at a high level. But when it came time for anything real — anything that required follow-through, community, or even basic reciprocity — there was nothing behind it. Just noise.
The longer the conversation went on, the clearer it became that his entire posture was built on self-protection, not substance. I saw he was young in a video he posted and, having around 53 years in the targeting program, I reached out to discuss some of the aspects he seemed to not be aware of yet. The disinterest on the first call should’ve been a warning. The evasiveness should’ve been another.
Just yesterday I contacted him through messenger. Months ago he had said he had knowledge of shielding and I needed it, I let him know. He said he would send some through email as well as some other material. I never heard from him. I decided since he didn't seem to be of any help that I would risk nothing by being firm in the conversation. The superiority he kept slipping into was based on nothing that I could see, he certainly offered nothing other than "trust me dude". Everything he said was wrapped in this fragile illusion that he was exceptional, untouchable, and somehow above the very people he claims to identify with. It wasn’t confidence — it was insulation. A thick layer of ego he couldn’t afford to crack because there’s nothing underneath to support him if it breaks.
I tried to get him to see the benefits of being helpful to the community. I mentioned that we have a mandate to help since children, the elderly and the disabled are targeted and they cannot help themselves in many cases. He dismissed it saying he is so different that he can handle the program no problem and look he can get degrees so he must be fine and therefore not on the hook to help anyone. Contempt prior to investigation. It's a TI tragedy. TIs are reduced to where they talk about knowledge, but they never teach. They talk about community, but they never contribute. They talk about strength, but they never lift anyone else. They drift around collecting words like trophies, degrees like Diane Chambers, convinced they’re impressive simply because they believe themselves to be. That's a deal-breaker for effectiveness in the present. That means they can be of no help to TIs or even themselves until they learn hard lessons. With someone like that you can’t collaborate, you can’t plan, you can’t even have a real conversation. Every exchange becomes a performance — for them, not for the truth.
He tried to flip the script near the end, telling me I didn’t understand him, telling me he’d predicted my responses, telling me it wasn’t too late for me to “evolve.” It was a sad moment. That was when I realized he wasn’t being arrogant in the conscious sense — he's damaged, and this is how his mind is dealing with the nightmare. We all have our life experiences, experiences which created stories, stories that led us to our psychological makeup. The program identifies how it can best adapt all of that to it's purposes.
So I did the reasonable thing: I disengaged. I curtailed the insult portion of the event, I didn’t try to win. I simply walked away, which was the only victory available there. Because the truth is simple: some people aren’t malicious or dangerous or sinister. They’re just severely misled by the program. We can’t fix that for them. We can only recognize it, refuse to get pulled into the gravity well, and move on. The targeting program is very powerful and can really do a number on some of us.
Something to salvage from it is the reminder that not everyone who talks like a contributor is capable of contributing. Some people are locked inside a loop they can’t escape. And the most important thing we can do is notice it early, protect our energy, and instead spend effort on the people who are able at that point in time to build something with us.

"3. The Isolation Protocol
Every TI eventually faces the same fork: stay connected or withdraw. The system makes either path self-defeating.
The Solitary TI believes only they know the truth, so everyone else becomes a suspect.
The Factional TI joins a group but sees all others as “outsiders.”
The Knowledgeable TI becomes unteachable, creating ignorance from illumination.
The Religious TI can see the unwashed masses as unworthy, potentially permanent outsiders.
The Perpetual Initiate keeps “learning” but never produces or finds a way to contribute.
The Successful or Recognized TI is the center of a mini universe and neither requires nor desires sunlight from ‘competing’ solar systems of information.
Each version neutralizes collaboration. Every potential alliance becomes another containment cell.
Assume you are at least two of these examples to some degree. We need to search ourselves to find where we correspond with these archetypes and take steps to change, for the sake of the community and the fight."
Based on his statements and behavior this TI showed strong signs of being The Solitary TI and looked to be trying to become The Successful or Recognized TI according to these definitions. Right now he thinks he's basically the second coming, and he seems to be gathering sycophants to 'yes' him from what I saw.
Understand this is not to single anyone out and embarrass them. We need to be aware of our behaviors, and the program is very good at keeping us from seeing them and how they affect others. Just writing about it and putting it out there doesn't seem to be enough to get TIs to look at themselves and identify what the targeting program is doing to them. The task we've been given is more important than protecting our egos. It's more important than being liked. I provide this story only to spur us to search ourselves to see where we are being led into a ditch.
Despite my plan for firmness his first insult surprised me. Maybe I bought into his elevation IDK, but next time I will be more prepared.
