It's amazing how you and some others here use every excuse in the book and then some to uphold this gang of thieves, pirates, monsters as somehow having a valid claim to do what they did? Christ in a Sidecar!
My comment was purely informational, intended neither to condemn nor condone any party. Had I intended to take a side on this small piece of the story, there would have been no ambiguity in my comment.
Wasn't referring to your post and deleted the comment anyway.

And blue Maga, in its own way, is just as bad as red Maga.

Obama's narrow interpretation of 'hostile acts' to justify killing Libyans, in 2010, was the forerunner to Trump's actions. There are very few politicians who aren't venal monsters on both sides of the aisle.

These moments... trump is the president... as you red some my thoughts year ago... I was never pro democrat or never said that Obama was good... we all know, how bad was... but now... here is Trump who are in charge... he, who should be more respectful towards everyone... more intelligently and intellectually in deep understanding... that his actions and decisions have a consequences..

Agree that blue MAGA is NOT... as red MAGA is NOT... for me!

Every Voting Tech Hack Washington Blamed On Venezuela Was Invented In Ohio

Trump is running out of excuses to justify the theft of Venezuelan oil.

Every voting tech hack that Washington claims was “invented in Venezuela” was discovered, demonstrated, and documented in the United States years — sometimes decades —before Smartmatic even existed. Full Stop.

With President Donald Trump’s false narco-trafficking claim boomeranging back and re-exposing the U.S. governments longstanding involvement through its military and CIA in cocaine and heroin trade, its state department is running out of excuses that justify stealing Venezuela’s crude oil to prevent higher prices that could result in the dreaded 1973 event of “dropping trucks off the road.”

Consider that while the U.S. has plenty of oil, it’s short 1.5–2 million barrels per day of heavy crude. Heavy crude keeps diesel production (and thus trucking/freight costs) at optimum levels.
That’s exactly why Venezuelan heavy oil — when sanctions allow — is highly valued: every 200,000–300,000 b/d from Venezuela directly plugs part of that diesel-critical gap at the lowest cost.

Latest Tale to Justify War on Venezuela

So, first, war on Venezuela was to promote “democracy”—when that narrative flopped along with Juan Guaido—it became drug trafficking, and now it’s using longstanding U.S. election woes to justify “taking” Venezuela’s crude oil, like Trump admitted to doing in Syria. This latest ruse is more pathetic than an unprepared sixth grader blaming the family dog for “eating his homework.”

The longstanding lack of U.S. voting equipment integrity is provable in court, reproducible in any high-school computer lab, and archived in publicly available files that have sat untouched on BlackBoxVoting.org since 2003. The proof was produced by Bev Harris, a grandmother, from Renton, Washington, more than twenty years ago.

Below is the side-by-side timeline that no intelligence briefer, no Trump lawyer, and no prime-time host has ever dared put on screen—because once you see it, the Venezuelan election-theft myth collapses like a house of cards in a hurricane.

The Timeline: CIA Myth vs. Bev Harris Reality

2000: Hugo Chavez is still consolidating power Florida punch-card crisis: 175,000 undervotes decide the presidency. ES&S machines already subtracting votes in real time (Allegheny County, PA).

2002: Chavez “beginning to plan fraud software.” Harris discovers “rob-georgia.zip” on Diebold servers — a patch that overwrites vote databases. Two years before the Venezuelan recall referendum.

Jan 2003: Smartmatic doesn’t even have a Venezuelan contract yet. Harris downloads 40,000 unrestricted Diebold files, including full GEMS source code. Johns Hopkins & Rice confirm buffer overflows and remote access.

Aug 2004: Chavez supposedly “steals” recall referendum, orders secret fraud code. Harris’s book Black Box Voting is published documenting 100+ U.S. miscounts using the exact same GEMS code Washington later blames on Caracas.

Dec 2005: Venezuela “perfecting the memory-card hacks”. Harris films the Leon County, Florida hack for HBO: 7-1 vote flip in eight minutes using only a $20 memory card on a Diebold AccuVote-TS

2006: Smartmatic still running tiny pilots in Venezuela. HBO’s Hacking Democracy airs to 20 million Americans showing every trick the Washington later attributes to Chavez

2016: “Venezuelans invent Fraction Magic.” Harris releases 8-part Fraction Magic report + live video using only U.S.-made GEMS 1.18.19 — votes split to the thousandth and moved invisibly across precincts

2017: Venezuela drops Smartmatic after the company refuses to disable audits. Smartmatic publicly accuses the Maduro regime of manipulating results — the exact opposite of the CIA story.

2020: “Venezuela flips Georgia, Arizona, Michigan”. Georgia hand-recounts 5 million paper ballots — machine tally within 0.1 %. No foreign code ever found.

2023: “Venezuelan code still inside Dominion.” Delaware Superior Court rules the claim false on its face. Fox pays $787 million. Smartmatic lawsuits ongoing.

2024–2025: Berntsen promises “source code proof” to DOJ. Zero lines of code produced. DOJ quietly shelves case after internal review.

The Mechanisms Themselves — All Born in the USA

1 Fractional Vote Weighting CIA: “Invented in Caracas to steal elections invisibly.” Harris: Demonstrated in 2003 Diebold source code (publicly posted). GEMS field labeled “Weighted Race” lets one voter’s ballot count as 0.10, 1.00, or 10.00 depending on precinct. Feature existed since at least 1998.

2 Real-Time Database Overwriting CIA: “Venezuelan backdoor.” Harris: 2002 “rob-georgia.zip” patch and 2003 GEMS duplicate-database feature — both archived and downloadable since Harris’s leak.

3 Memory-Card Swaps CIA: “Venezuelan engineers perfected this.” Harris: Filmed in Leon County, Florida, December 2005 — eight-minute hack on live machine.

4 Central Tabulator Remote Access CIA: “Huawei and Serbian servers.” Harris: 2003 Diebold files show default modem passwords and open ports. No foreign hardware required.

The Companies — All American When the Flaws Were Created

    • Diebold (now Premier) — Canton, Ohio
    • ES&S — Omaha, Nebraska
    • Sequoia — Oakland, California (sold to Smartmatic in 2005 after the vulnerabilities were already in the code)
    • Dominion — founded in Canada in 2003, bought Sequoia in 2010 with no Smartmatic code transfer (confirmed in multiple lawsuits)

Smartmatic’s only U.S. appearance was a single 2006 Chicago pilot with 100 machines. It has never been used in a swing state.

The Paper Trail That Kills the Myth

The single most devastating document is the 2016 Fraction Magic report by Bev Harris and Bennie Smith. It is 80 pages of screenshots, flowcharts, and live video using only software that was sold in the United States from 1998 to 2008.

No Venezuelan engineer is mentioned, because none was needed. The report was sent to every secretary of state, every major news outlet, and every member of Congress. None of them disputed the findings—because they were reproducible on American hardware in American counties.

The Fixes That Already Exist — and Are Being Ignored

While the CIA chases ghosts in Caracas, Harris handed America the solutions twenty years ago:

Ballot Images (mandated by federal law since HAVA 2002) — release them publicly and any citizen can verify the count. Colorado and Rhode Island do it; no “Venezuelan interference” has ever been found.

Risk-Limiting Audits — statistically prove the outcome matches the paper.

Open-Source Code Review — let the public see what is running on the machines.

The Verdict from the Courts and the Auditors. 2020–2023 hand recounts in Georgia, Arizona, Michigan: paper ballots matched machine totals within statistical norms.

No forensic audit has ever found foreign code. Dominion and Smartmatic have collectively won or settled defamation cases for over US$2.4 billion because the claim is provably false.

Conclusion: The Lie Was Never About Protecting Elections

The Venezuelan election-theft myth is not an intelligence failure. It is a deliberate, sustained disinformation operation whose only purpose is to provide moral cover for economic strangulation of a country that nationalized its oil.

Bev Harris proved — with files, videos, and court victories — that every single trick blamed on Caracas was born in Ohio, Nebraska, and Florida. The machines are vulnerable because American vendors wrote secret code and American regulators looked the other way — not because Hugo Chavez had a secret lab in a basement in Miraflores.

Until the United States mandates the transparency Harris has been begging for since 2003, the real threat to American elections will remain exactly where she found it: inside the black boxes built and serviced by American corporations.

If former President George W. Bush’s comedy routine at the 2004 White House Radio and Television Correspondents Dinner about his inability to find weapons of mass destruction didn’t result in the death of millions of people and the obliteration of the cradle of civilization, it would be funny.

Let’s not have Trump recreating Bush’s war crime folly regarding his inability to find drugs and election stealing technology in Venezuela at our expense too.

    No Blood for Oil!

🇺🇸🇻🇪 SOUTHCOM escalation posture in focus.

The U.S. has now assembled a full-spectrum force package around Venezuela, including carrier strike assets, EA-18G Growlers, ISR platforms, amphibious units, and long-range strike capability across the Caribbean.

The accompanying target map shows identified Venezuelan military infrastructure: air bases, radar/ISR nodes, command centers, ports, and army installations. This reflects active operational planning, not routine signaling.

Force composition suggests air defense suppression, ISR dominance, and rapid strike readiness.

    What is this?

A knuckle-dragging gorilla? An animated pile of mold?

Quote “Its tyrannical expropriation was the largest recorded theft of American wealth and property. These pillaged assets were then used to fund terrorism and flood our streets with killers, mercenaries and drugs.”

It doesn't seem to me that we are talking about turmoil within the country of Venezuela, this is cruising its way to a new subject.

I don't agree with threats and force projection. I consider the man pictured above a foreign occupier being that the place I live is under military occupation by the same forces approaching Venezuela now.

This administration is up to a 39% approval, last time I checked, and again one can but pursue the impeachment which has been attempted since its first term.

"An attempt to justify himself": An expert explained why Trump did not declare war on Venezuela. -today

Contrary to expectations, US President Donald Trump's address to the nation today focused not on the declaration of war on Venezuela, but on the US's domestic problems. Commenting on this, Russian political scientist and HSE professor Marat Bashirov emphasized that the White House chief sought to justify his failures in the economy.

"The main thing: all his projects to attract investment to the US have not yet increased household incomes. There are no more dollars in Americans' wallets. On the one hand, it takes time to expand production or modernize existing ones. On the other hand, why did he make such promises if he knew this? "

    – explains Bashirov.

The professor emphasizes that, despite the pompous speech, Trump's words betrayed a sense of guilt towards the US population.

"There was a lot of pathos today, but the performance looked like an attempt to justify oneself "

    – sums up the political scientist.

Let us recall that shortly before the start of the US President's address to the nation, the famous American journalist Tucker Carlson stated that, according to his information, Trump during his speech will announce war against Venezuela. However, this did not happen.

It's worth noting that military experts warned some time ago that a possible US invasion of Venezuela could be very costly for Washington.

The sad truth is that countries like China, Russia and others will not be able to assist Venezuala 'on the ground' in this war (which will probably escalate into aerial bombardment as we saw in Gaza rather than boots on the ground) nor break the blockade without risking an all-out war with the USA that would endanger the entire world. A bully usually picks on those that can easily be isolated and attacked without risk to self. The blockade seems to also indicate that the USA will prevent any aid from getting to Venezuala, as it assisted Israel in doing to Gaza.

Does anyone know of any other route to Venezuala that would not require running the gauntlet of the blockade?
Cuba next, just because the bullies can do it and get away with it?

Does anyone know how much in terms of profits US companies got from Venezuala before nationalization? I would guess that it far surpasses any investment made in terms of infrastructure to extract the oil. Private companies were not there as a charitable exercise!

Julian Assange today filed a criminal complaint in Sweden accusing 30 individuals associated with the Nobel Foundation, including its leadership, of committing serious suspected crimes, including the crime of gross misappropriation of funds, facilitation of war crimes and crimes against humanity, and the financing of the crime of aggression.

The complaint shows that Alfred Nobel's 1895 will explicitly mandates that the peace prize go to the individual who during the proceeding year “conferred the greatest benefit to humankind” by doing “the most or the best work for fraternity between nations, for the abolition or reduction of standing armies and for the holding and promotion of peace congresses.”

Assange argues that “The political decision of the Norwegian selection committee does not suspend the fiduciary duty of Swedish funds administrators”. “Any disbursement contradicting this mandate constitutes misappropriation from the endowment”.

The complaint, submitted simultaneously to the Swedish Economic Crime Authority (Ekobrottsmyndigheten) and the Swedish War Crimes Unit (Krigsbrottsenheten), states that the suspects, including Nobel Foundation Chair Astrid Söderbergh Widding and Executive Director Hanna Stjärne, converted “an instrument of peace into an instrument of war,” through suspected “serious criminality” including:

    1) Breach of trust, gross misappropriation and conspiracy in relation to the pending 11 million SEK ($1.18 million) disbursement of the Peace prize monies to Maria Corina Machado, whose prior and ongoing actions categorically exclude her from the criteria set out in Alfred Nobel's will;

    2) Facilitation of war crimes, including the crime of aggression and crimes against humanity, breaching Sweden's obligations under Article 25(3)(c) of the Rome Statute, because the accused are aware of Machado's incitement and endorsement of the U.S. commission of international crimes, and knew or ought to have known that the disbursement of Nobel monies would contribute to extrajudicial killings of civilians and shipwrecked survivors at sea and are in breach of their obligation to cease disbursements.

Assange notes that the members of the Nobel Foundation have previously exercised their supervisory authority over the prizes and their disbursements by withholding Literature Prize disbursements in 2018. “Failure to intervene here, despite U.S. war crimes off the Venezuelan coast and Machado’s key role in furthering aggression” incurs criminal liability.

“Alfred Nobel's endowment for peace cannot be spent on the promotion of war,” Assange states. The accused have concrete legal obligations because they are tasked with “ensuring the fulfillment of the intended purpose of Alfred Nobel’s will, that is, to end wars and war crimes, and not to enable them.”

MACHADO'S INCITEMENT OF THE LARGEST U.S. MILITARY BUILDUP SINCE THE IRAQ WAR MAKE HER CATEGORICALLY INELIGIBLE

The complaint notes how the Nobel announcement and ceremony have occurred in what military analysts describe as “the largest U.S. military deployment in the Caribbean since the Cuban Missile Crisis”—now exceeding 15,000 personnel, including the aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford. The escalation continues as President Trump announced on December 10, two days after the Nobel ceremony, that U.S. strikes would be “starting by land.” The Venezuela strategy is part of what Trump’s Secretary for War, Peter Hegseth, calls a shift toward “maximum lethality, not tepid legality” and “going on the offence”.

Against this backdrop, Assange states that “Machado has continued to incite the Trump Administration to pursue its escalatory path”, including by entering into a conspiracy to give the U.S. administration access to $1.7 trillion in oil reserves and other natural resources through privatization once Maduro is ousted.

“Using her elevated position as the recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, Machado may well have tipped the balance in favour of war, facilitated by the named suspects.” Assange states in the criminal complaint.

The complaint lists evidence of this incitement of U.S. military intervention, as well as praising Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's conduct in Gaza. Her statements include:

    - “Military escalation may be the only way... the United States may need to intervene directly” (30 October 2025)
    - Machado called U.S. military strikes on civilian vessels, which have killed at least 95 people to date, “justified” and “visionary”.
    - Machado dedicated the prize to U.S. President Trump, because he “finally has put Venezuela... in terms of a priority for the United States national security”
    - Historical statements including 2014 testimony before U.S. Congress where she said: “The only path left is the use of force”

The filing cites extensive third-party expert and institutional opposition to Machado receiving the award:

    - 21 Norwegian peace organizations declared: “Machado is the opposite of a peace laureate.”
    - Nobel Peace Prize laureate Adolfo Pérez Esquivel stated: “Giving the prize to someone who calls for foreign invasion is a mockery of Alfred Nobel's will.”
    - The Peace Research Institute Oslo (PRIO) confirmed Machado “has called for military intervention in Venezuela.”

    REQUESTED ACTION

The complaint notes that “There is a real risk that the funds derived from Nobel’s endowment have been or will be intentionally or negligently diverted from their charitable purpose to facilitate aggression, crimes against humanity, and war crimes.”

    Assange requests that Swedish authorities:

    1. Immediately freeze of the pending SEK 11,000,000 monetary prize transfer and any remaining related budget and secure return of the medal.
    2. Investigate the named persons and Foundation officers and associated entities for breach of trust, facilitation of war crimes and crimes against humanity, and conspiracy.
    3. Seize of board minutes, emails, group chats, financial records.
    4. Interrogate Widding, Stjärne and other suspects.
    5. Fully investigate domestically or refer the matter to the ICC (Rome Statute Art. 25(3)(c)).

“This complaint seeks the immediate freezing of all remaining funds and a full criminal investigation lest the Nobel Peace Prize be permanently converted from an instrument of peace into an instrument of war,” Assange concludes.

Julian Assange: Sweden broke own laws with Nobel Prize to Venezuela’s Machado
Max Blumenthal and Wyatt ReedDecember 17, 2025

By awarding its peace prize to Trump’s favorite Venezuelan opposition figure, pro-war coup plotter Maria Corina Machado, the Nobel Committee contravened the principles enshrined in its founding documents, as well as Swedish law, Julian Assange alleged in an explosive brief reviewed by The Grayzone.

The Swedish government violated its own laws by awarding the Nobel Peace Prize to Venezuelan opposition figure Maria Corina Machado, according to an explosive legal brief filed by Julian Assange, the Wikileaks co-founder and former political prisoner who was hounded across the globe, confined in harsh conditions, and subjected to physical and psychological torment over the course of a decade by the US and its allies.

The Nobel committee’s decision to award Machado the Peace Prize — and the 11 million Swedish Kroner ($1.18 million USD) reward which accompanies it — means that “there is a real risk that funds derived from Nobel’s endowment have been or will be… diverted from their charitable purpose to facilitate aggression, crimes against humanity, and war crimes,” Assange stated.

The Wikileaks founder pointed to the “ample public statements… showing that the U.S. government and María Corina Machado have exploited the authority of the prize to provide them with a casus moralis for war,” adding that the explicitly stated purpose of the war sought by Machado and her wealthy Latin American backers would be “installing her by force in order to plunder $1.7 trillion in Venezuelan oil and other resources.”

The Nobel Foundation stands accused of a number of violations of Swedish criminal law, including breach of trust, misappropriation and gross misappropriation, conspiracy, crimes against international law, as well as financing of aggression, facilitation of war crimes and crimes against humanity, and breaching Sweden’s stated obligations under the Rome Statute, to which Stockholm says it is “deeply committed.”

Under Swedish law, “Alfred Nobel’s endowment for peace cannot be spent on the promotion of war,” Assange noted. “Nor can it be used as a tool in foreign military intervention. Venezuela, whatever the status of its political system, is no exception.”

By granting Nobel funds to Machado, Assange argues that the Committee is effectively financing “a conspiracy to murder civilians, to violate national sovereignty using military force…” By refusing to end payments, “they flagrantly violate Nobel’s will and clearly cross the threshold into criminality,” he alleged. The Wikileaks co-founder seeks the “immediate freezing of all remaining funds and a full criminal investigation” into Committee members who awarded the prize.

The Nobel Prizes were established in 1901 according to Swedish inventor Alfred Nobel’s last will and testament, which was later incorporated into the Swedish and Norwegian legal systems. The Peace Prize, which is meant to be bestowed on the figure who has contributed most to “fraternity between nations,” the “abolition or reduction of standing armies,” and “the holding and promotion of peace congresses,” has served as a cornerstone of Scandinavian soft power ever since.

Since its inception, however, the prize was marred by controversy due to the violent legacy of its recipients, and the political ambitions of its Norwegian sponsors. In the case of one of the Prize’s first winners, US President Theodore Roosevelt, the Norwegian Nobel Committee was criticized at the time for overlooking the American statesman’s naked warmongering in Latin America in order to curry favor with the nascent US empire. The New York Times sardonically observed that “a broad smile illuminated the face of the globe when the prize was awarded … to the most warlike citizen of these United States.”

The same dynamic is at play in the Caribbean once again, according to Assange, as the Nobel Committee crowns a Venezuelan politician best known for her unhinged appeals for foreign military intervention and her dedication of her Nobel victory to US President Donald Trump.

As Assange explained, Trump’s massive buildup of US military forces off the coast of Venezuela “has already committed undeniable war crimes, including the lethal targeting of civilian boats and survivors at sea, which has killed at least 95 people.”

“The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights labeled these U.S. coastal strikes against civilian boats “extrajudicial executions,” the Wikileaks co-founder wrote. And the “principal architect of this aggression” was none other than Trump’s Secretary of State Marco Rubio, who “nominated María Corina Machado for the peace prize.”

Norwegian Nobel judges tied to influential Venezuelan regime change lobbyist

The awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize to a figure as clearly unqualified as Machado – and in apparent violation of Swedish law – raised questions about whether the Committee had been influenced by powerful outside interests. Machado’s nomination for the prize by the US Secretary of State had an undeniable impact on the decision, as the Nobel ceremony serves as a central channel of Norwegian soft power. But inside Oslo, a political powerbroker determined to return to power in his family’s native Venezuela may have also played a role in swinging votes for Machado.

He is Thor Halvorssen Jr., the son of a CIA asset and wealthy Venezuelan aristocrat who held positions in neoliberal Venezuelan governments before the election of Hugo Chavez. Halvorssen is also the first cousin of Leopoldo Lopez, the author of several military coups against Chavez and Maduro, and the founder of the US government-sponsored Popular Will party which has traditionally led the way for the radical opposition.

As the founder of the Oslo Freedom Forum, a self-proclaimed human rights group which openly advocates for toppling governments targeted by the West, Halvorssen presides over a network of Western-backed regime change activists. At the 2024 Oslo Freedom Forum, Halvorssen played host to Machado, who clamored for Maduro’s removal through a video link-up from Venezuela, where she was supposedly “in hiding.” This year’s Forum featured Machado’s top advisor, the Spain-based Pedro Uchuruttu, as well as her daughter, Ana Corina Sosa. When the Nobel Committee awarded Machado with its peace prize in October, the Oslo Freedom Forum issued a press release celebrating the decision for “chang[ing] the dynamics” in Venezuela.

The Norway-based Fritt Ord Foundation is a key link between Halvorssen’s Oslo Freedom Forum and leaders of the Nobel Committee. The Oslo Freedom Forum declares on its website that Fritt Ord “was among the first to endorse” it. While providing funding to Halvorssen’s regime change outfit, Fritt Ord awarded Jorgen Watne Frydnes, the Norwegian Nobel Committee Chair, with its 2021 Freedom of Expression Tribute. During his speech awarding the Nobel Prize to Machado, Frydnes likened the right-wing coup plotter to Nelson Mandela. With geriatric members of the Norwegian royal family seated just a few feet away, he went on to call for Maduro to step down and allow Machado to preside over a “democratic” transition.

Frydnes also happens to be the former director of the Norwegian Helsinki Committee, a think tank focused on supporting the Ukraine proxy war, which is a formal partner and supporter of Halvorssen’s Oslo Freedom Forum.

Among the five judges who awarded Machado her prize was Kristin Clemet, a Norwegian politician who was also awarded the Fritt Ord Freedom of Expression Tribute in 2017. Clemet is the managing director of a liberal Norwegian think tank called Civita which officially partners with and supports Halvorssen’s Oslo Freedom Forum.

Who’s behind Nobel insider gambling scheme?

Even before she had officially received the award, Machado’s entourage drew accusations of corruption and illegal enrichment after a handful of insiders seemingly used advanced knowledge of her imminent win to rake in close to $100,000 on the Polymarket betting site.

The odds of Machado winning surged from 3.75% to 72.8% just hours before the Nobel Committee officially informed Machado of her victory. One unusually prescient bettor won $65,000 gambling on the Venezuelan opposition figure. “It seems we have been prey to a criminal actor who wants to earn money on our information,” said Kristian Berg Harpviken, the head of the Nobel Institute.

Months later, The Nobel committee still has yet to conclude its investigation into the corruption scandal. As of publication, the committee did not respond to a request for comment by The Grayzone.

For what promotes itself as the world’s premiere peacemaking institution, it may be too late to undo the damage wrought by giving the Nobel Prize to an avowed champion of violent regime change.

“Using her elevated position as the recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, Machado may well have” already “tipped the balance in favor of war,” Assange concluded.

🇻🇪🇺🇸 Several ships carrying Venezuelan oil byproducts departed the country’s east coast under escort by the Venezuelan Navy between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, shortly after Trump ordered a “total and complete blockade” on sanctioned tankers trading with Venezuela, according to NYT.

➡️ The vessels left the Port of José carrying urea, petroleum coke, and other oil-related products bound for Asian markets.

➡️ Sources told NYT that the escorts were ordered by the Venezuelan government in response to Trump’s warning.

➡️ A U.S. official confirmed Washington is aware of the naval escorts and is considering possible responses, though it is unclear whether the ships involved are themselves under U.S. sanctions.
