I wrote in several places, last year and in 2023, that Trump's advantage and attractiveness as a presidential candidate wasn't who he was, but who he wasn't.

Sadly, it really is starting to appear that he isn't all that very different from those "who he wasn't" after all.

Must admit I see him servicing the doners, & neocons, not to mention the totally unnecessary Venezuela hostility, perhaps there can never be a truly effective American President any more, since Eisenhour & of course JFK they seem to be frontline managers more than absolute leaders of the 'free world' - Trump being the outsider seemed plausible, but I think you are right Bill, I just hope there is some real fight in this admin...we shall see eh?

    In 24 hours Trump has:

    - Banned Palestinians
    - Lamented the “Israeli & Jewish lobby” losing control of congress and vowed to stop this.
    - Admitted he took $250M in bribes from Miriam Adelson
    - Confirmed to Mark Levin that he is a “Jewish President”

And if you have a problem with any of that Stop Antisemites and the new “highest profile” antisemitism division of the State Department will ruin your life.

🇺🇸🕎 This clip from tonight’s White House Hanukkah dinner is wild, and deeply revealing.

Donald Trump once again openly boasts that Miriam Adelson gave his campaign “directly and indirectly” $250 million, then jokes that it “is not what it used to be.” That alone is a remarkable public admission of donor dominance at the highest level of state power.

    But it gets worse.

It was not Donald Trump who first raised the idea of “four more years.” It was Miriam Adelson.

On stage, Adelson tells the room that she spoke directly with Alan Dershowitz, who explained to her “the legal thing about four more years.” She then turns to Trump and says: “I agree with you so we can do it. Think about it.” The crowd immediately begins chanting “Four more years.”

Yes, Alan Dershowitz is physically present at this event. This is the same Dershowitz who served as Jeffrey Epstein’s defense attorney and was later accused by Virginia Giuffre of sexual misconduct connected to Epstein. Regardless, he is being invoked here as the legal authority for extending a presidency beyond constitutional limits.

Trump casually recounts her unfettered access to him, describing how her late husband Sheldon Adelson had near on-demand access to the Oval Office. Trump is explicit about Sheldon’s priorities, saying that despite being an American citizen, “That’s all he really fought for… he just wanted to take care of Israel.”

That alone should stop people cold. Western audiences should not normalize this.

🇺🇸🕎 This clip is disturbing not just for what is being said, but for how power is being framed.

Trump declares flatly: “They hate Israel.”
Who is they? He doesn’t specify at first, but the target quickly becomes Congress itself. He tells the audience that “bad people” are now in Congress, people who would have been “unthinkable” just 12–15 years ago, and warns that even private conversations with lawmakers now produce “glimmers” that alarm him.

This is a delegitimization of an entire branch of government, framed as a moral and security threat.

Trump then. invokes October 7 repeatedly and explicitly analogizes its denial to Holocaust denial, collapsing vastly different historical events into a single moral category. This is not an accident. Holocaust denial is treated in Western political culture as uniquely disqualifying; by equating skepticism, dissent, or even debate around October 7 with Holocaust denial, he is reframing political disagreement as moral pathology.

The implication is, if you question the narrative, you are not wrong, you are dangerous.

That could apply in this case but I don't yet conclude it's what's happening. Far from it.

Anyone who is really serious about ending a 6,000+ year death cult will have to be into the game up to their armpits and stinking of it too. Trump himself may only be a well chosen instrument anyway. In that way, his flaws and history are as valuable in the fight as his strengths.

    Here's an analogy to consider.

The Bond villains lair is massive and structurally impenetrable to anyone but an exceptionally god-level genius lead team, with a lot of patience and who completely ignore the baying crowd of infiltrated (if only spiritually) do-nothing side sitting spectators who think spotting some comings and goings around the area of the lair is vigilant and clever. If they cross reference each other and agree that they have identified a small inflatable approaching and leaving the immediate location of the lair, and agree they have identified who was in the inflatable, their spirits sink with a conclusion of "see, I told you they're all in on it, everyone's a crook".

What if those ongoing and occasionally spotted inflatable dingy activities are actually recognisance and charge setting operations or protective diversions from the same ? That could even apply to Trump reading from his speech notes at a fancy banquet in Windsor Castle.

Logistically, the priority strategy must be to 'turn' people from the enemy side to our side. I'm increasingly uncertain about using the term "our side" as I sense our side is saturated with enemy assets and they are still pouring in as the other side's propaganda machinery is becoming powerless on it's own without the use of false opposition operating from our side of the hill.

Have faith people, it's what it's all about.

My comment was not directed at Trump so much as at the entire "death cult", which has become so corrupt.
I think the time is coming when people will be revolting enmasse like never before, and there are signs that is starting already.
Anyone in a position of power will need to be able to withstand that if they want to remain standing at all.

This is unusual in that Bongino is still the second in command at the FBI, and although he is resigning, that is not for another couple of weeks:

The “congressional source” who told Tucker Carlson that President Trump would declare war on Venezuela tonight was Marjorie Taylor Greene.

As she prepares to quit on her constituents midway after accomplishing nothing but self-enrichment for five years, she is doing everything she can to sow chaos before leaving.

I don't think I had Trump Derangement Syndrome during the Trump 45 administration, but I don't find too many positive things to say about the Trump 47. But here is one truly good thing he has done:

By executive order, Trump has changed marijuana from a schedule I to a schedule III drug. It's been long apparent the marijuana has legitimate medical uses and is not one of the most dangerous drugs out there. As a schedule I drug it was classified as being more dangerous than cocaine or methamphetamine. As a schedule III drug it finds itself in the same class as codeine, ketamine, anabolic steroids, and testosterone.

Assange brings ‘instrument of war’ case against Nobel Foundation
The foundation has awarded the Peace Prize to a laureate lobbying for a new US war, the WikiLeaks co-founder argues

WikiLeaks co-founder Julian Assange has filed a criminal complaint against the Nobel Foundation, accusing it of misusing Nobel Peace Prize funds by awarding them to Venezuelan opposition figure Maria Corina Machado, who has publicly called on the US to attack her own country.

The complaint, dated Wednesday and submitted to Sweden’s Economic Crime Authority and War Crimes Unit, where the Nobel Foundation is based, argues that Alfred Nobel’s will legally restricts Peace Prize funds to purposes that promote peace and bars their use to advance war or foreign military intervention.

Disbursing prize money to Machado violates that mandate and could constitute a crime under Swedish law, Assange contends, while warning that the Nobel Peace Prize could be used as an “instrument of war.”

The complaint cites a series of public statements in which Machado endorsed potential US military intervention in Venezuela, while defending Washington’s use of force amid its heavy military buildup in the Caribbean. Assange pointed out that she had justified US strikes on boats off Venezuela’s coast, which have killed 95 people to date. The US maintains it is targeting “narco-terrorists,” while the UN has condemned the strikes as “extrajudicial killings.”

“There are ample public statements... showing that the US government and Maria Corina Machado have exploited the authority of the prize to provide them with a casus moralis for war with the object of installing her by force in order to plunder $1.7 trillion in Venezuelan oil and other resources.”

A day earlier, President Donald Trump boasted that Venezuela is surrounded by “the largest armada ever assembled in the history of South America,” while promising to tighten the screws on Caracas until they “return… all of the oil, land and other assets that they previously stole from us.”

America’s military action in the region has been accompanied by ever tightening political pressure on Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, whom Washington has accused of having ties to narco-cartels. However, Maduro denies these accusations, branding them a “colonialist” regime-change campaign waged to grab resources.

On Wednesday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said US actions off Venezuela’s coast “undermine hopes that an agreement can be reached” with Washington.
