    Lovely! But sad to think that it is seen as REMARKABLE, if only kindness were the norm

    Now that is what I call a REAL MAN; also the animals need, give and feel love, as we know from our beloved pets.

    Here's another good one ...

    Quote From William Henry

    I love this video. To me, it illustrates our essential predicament. We are trapped in a box of our own making. We are all refugees from a land unknown to most. All we can hope for is the benevolent help from beings wiser than us who can provide a ladder to freedom.

    My grandmother talked to a skunk one time who was caught in a live trap cage until she was able to open the door of the trap and the skunk left without spraying her. All because it sensed my grandmother was not a threat. I also have a friend who was in a 14 ft boat off costa rica one time going to the local village via the ocean riding along the shoreline when some sharks encircled the boat trying to find dinner. Bunch of dolphins came to her rescue and kicked the crap out of the sharks so she could be on her way . We all share this planet, animals , plants and us. Its called respect all across the board for all the right reasons and we help each other when appropriate.

    Quote Dr. Joren Whitley is an animal chiropractor. He works on pretty much every animal. Through his chiropractic work he has helped many paralyzed dogs walk. He recently got asked to work on wild animals in South Africa, including realigning the backs of giraffes and even lions.
    There's lots to take away from this. What's racing through my mind is that it isn't just humans that fart during chiropractic sessions.

    Watch the first 8 minutes and see what I can only guess is a giant thank you. Sure beats working at the car wash.

    The 'cover' picture, screenshot?, is, as so often the case these days, AI created. There was no need, really.

    I have a feeling that this video has been created with the help of AI. But, I do remember seeing a genuine one where sea growth on a whale was removed, it may have been on the Animals are Magical thread. Scietists believed some whales have an immune irregularity that makes them more suseptible to sea growth on their skins. There are teams of people that very carefully remove the unwanted sealife and then have to apply some antibiotics where there is some damage on the whales skin.

    Perhaps another member might remember where that video is on the forum.

    LUJAN, Argentina (AP) — Lions, tigers and bears that managed to survive in substandard conditions at a now-shuttered zoo on the outskirts of Buenos Aires, Argentina, paced weakly in their claustrophobic cages on Thursday, waiting their turn to receive urgent veterinary care for the first time in years.

    The 62 big cats and two brown bears were being evaluated and treated before their eventual transfer to vast wildlife sanctuaries abroad — among the most complex animal rescues undertaken in Argentina after the country’s recent arrangement with an international animal welfare organization.

    Copying this most wonderful post by Isserley on the Humans Are Amazing thread:

    ~~~
    "She had saved $5,000 for a luxury trip to Thailand. But she didn't spend it on hotels.
    While walking past a trekking camp, Sarah saw ""Nala,"" an elderly elephant chained to a concrete post. Nala was swaying back and forth—a sign of extreme distress. Her eyes looked dead. She had been carrying tourists on her back for 40 years.
    Sarah locked eyes with the giant animal and started crying.
    She found the owner and made an offer. She emptied her entire savings account right there in the dirt.
    ""I'm not renting her,"" Sarah said. ""I'm buying her retirement.""
    A friend snapped a photo of the moment the heavy chains were finally unlocked. Nala touched Sarah's face with her trunk, letting out a low rumble that vibrated through the ground.
    She now lives in a sanctuary, and Sarah went home broke, but richer than ever.
    Freedom is the only souvenir worth buying. 🐘❤️"
