My mother was a concert pianist and a great lover of the arts. This was her absolutely favorite ballet dancer. Towards the end of his career, she finally got to meet and have a picture taken with him. That night, that picture, was her pride and joy.

They are speaking Finnish, and the gist of the conversation is that they put the group together one week ago and only practiced once.

This dance showed up in one of my newsfeeds recently. I love it. It's perfection. I've rewatched it dozens of time. Downloaded it offline and filed in my dance folder.

Taking a closer look at it, I discovered that there is currently a short series of Dancing with the Stars, the Next Pro. Evidently, there has been a resurgence in popularity of the Dancing with the Stars series among GenZ and on TikTok.

It's been insightful to see the process of what is looked for and expected of the pro dancers in the series.

Personally, I'm rooting for Selena. But all the dancers are brilliant.
