I think that "Simulation" is the wrong word, we are more likely within a mathematical construct. It's all numbers and numbers can be manipulated to a certain/finite extent. There are humans who believe that they can do this through magic, algorithms etc. So yes, we are being pushed towards a kind of synthetic reality by bad actors. The question is how far can this be ultimately taken. Is there a boundary through which we cannot penetrate or, as we push, will the fabric of our known reality break down completely?

Oh well, I've just quaffed an Old Speckled Hen and am feeling somewhat philosophical :-)

Interesting ideas, I once had a kind of hallucination where everything was made up from purple numbers, it was quite a gentle experience not upsetting but left me with the idea that it is all about maths/numbers. Old Peculiar is a nice drop of ale also, I like the 'Speckled Hen' myself too!

I remember that Bill, yes the Holographic universe, I think this is a bit different to this 'Simulation' idea, as a few have suggested I think there are problems with this expression, I think David Icke is referring to something other than the architecture of the cosmos - I was leaning into the Arthur M Young ideas of Light being the source of 'everything' (Fiat Lux) whereas David is more talking about the human cultural construct which is more obviously built by us all collectively agreeing on axiomatic ideas - it is more of a perspective clash.

In many ways the Simulation Theory is as much a 'religion~like' belief system as........well, as other religions - because someone or something or group would have to create the simulation - who could be compared to the creator God of the Bible...or ET (ish) 'Elohim~like group of Powerful Beings -

Years ago I was (and still am) impressed by the work of Bruce Cathie who came from your neck of the woods - New Zealand - re the bolded above .... after many years of independent research much of it before the advent of calculators and computers (for the General Public, anyway...) - he came to the conclusion - that everything was 'light' .... he was just a regular citizen, an airline pilot - you've probably come across him yourself -

I don't even pretend to understand the equations and most of the maths behind Cathie's work but I kind of get the gist of it intuitively - 'they' tried to get him to work with top scientists and offered him fabulous wages that would mean the family would never want for anything ever again... but his wife Wendy, who worked with him on the 'numbers' at home put her foot down (Bruce ran the job offer through her) and she said 'NO' - and Bruce didn't really want to anyway and decided that if he worked for the top scientists etc all his work would be kept secret, but he wanted the public to have access....he has also done some very controversial work on nuclear explosions -

I think a lot of the problems people have with David Icke are down to his style of talking, he has become increasingly emphatic, even aggressive in some ways because of the push back he received in the very early days after his 'download' - perhaps I need to review a few things, I usually do!

I know what you mean - there is a touch of arrogance but I think, maybe a lot of Alternative Royalty have that touch of arrogance - (our Patriarchs lol) they have earned their places as Big Players in this game of life we play - so that doesn't particularly bother me - - - Clayton Morris in the interview seemed to be a bit Star Struck....and David enjoyed the attention... ....

Many moons ago I tried the Amazonian plant called Salvia, I believe. It's a mild hallucinogenic which lasts for about 10 minutes. The effect is similar to what you describe except in my case the numbers were black and moving into my eyes. It felt as if light was slowing down.

Old Peculiar is also excellent stuff but my current favourite is Bishop's Finger

I greatly respect David Icke and all that he has said over the years. I’ve been twice to his 10 hour show, neither of which disappointed and attention from the audience was rapt throughout.

Thanks to listening to this ickonic pioneer and reading his books, I now think more critically and no longer swallow the propaganda spouted daily and I have much to thank him for.

As for Jimmy Savile, David worked at the BBC for years so perhaps he was in the know, like a lot of people must have been. Like Epstein, there is still much that is hidden and perhaps because of the colossal reach of it and the people involved, it will remain so.

Icke's obviously a very smart man but he's not right on everything. He makes claims with complete authority on things he knows little about. For example, despite not having an NDE, he believes he's in a position to claim that all NDErs experience was merely a part of a simulation. Implying we should disregard the literally thousands of NDE testimonies because they're all wrong? I'd sooner take actual experience over one man's theory.

He also claims that Amazon workers are treated like slaves, and that working for such megacorps represents some kind of dystopian future. I've worked for Amazon multiple times and they're one of the best companies to work for: excellent management, and workers are treated better than most other places I've worked. Icke is obviously making a judgement from the Daily Mail articles he's read and not on actual experience.

Likewise for videogames, he's claimed that they're used to densitise young men to violence, which again is clearly not something he has much experience with, unless he unwinds with some Call of Duty between book releases, but I doubt that. Games don't make people violent.

There's a profound difference between a very good researcher and writer who has had at least one short, dimensional shock to his being than one whose vision is permanently opened up. David is not a seer, but that does not negate all of the good and insightful work, his stamina and his courage to stand up for deeper truths. I do appreciate his works but I appreciate my own experiences and insights far more than his, ones I consider full of actual confirmations of my own personal growth.

I do not completely take his words as reality, but as a general questioning of what we perceive and I SUPER APPRECIATE him for that. It is fortunate and unfortunate for him, not me at all, that he is obviously not a seer, because a lot of what has been echoed back to him is just that, and not a clear path to any permanent awareness. I have experienced that permanence in myself and in a few others, yet only a half-assed and weak response to my outter appearance from him, from David.

For those who know anyone like me, I would suggest that you project, imagine even, that I am or was a bald shaved Buddhist monk, or a grey robed priest, or a black smocked novitiate. It doesn't matter, as much as it matters that David is so used to seeing without even seeing the color that surrounds each person, not that those awakenings are the end all of understanding, but once experienced and continually shown as an interaction between one individual and another are surely an indication of real insight. Something that anyone who seeks awareness, enlightening or not, you'd think would consider a beginning skill that proves presence, not limited perception. My hint to Dave is that it is rewarding to investigate Sound as Perceptual Vibration, as the Frequency of Experiences, the Creator of Connectivities that Touch the eternal.

My son and I got to confirm that perception I had of David when we attended one of his talks, in 2011, at The Santa Monica Civic in the L.A. area. It was a long talk, touching on things we appreciated that he wrote in his books.

The funny thing is that the moment I stood up in the auditorium to fix a tripping hazard, one I saw between the Spanish interpretor and the area we were in that held the headphones for Spanish speaking attendees, David glanced over to me walking down the stairs and started criticizing religions, which was an abrupt and unexpected, but appropriate dead stop for exposing who he was, as he suddenly switched away from the subject he was talking about just one sentence before.

Now if David had the balls or the integrity to engage one of his audience members in an open discussion about religions, especially the one I appeared to be an open part of, I would have loved that. I didn't respond to the sudden switch because it was not directly challenging to me and my safety and because some idiot had yelled at David earlier in the talk. I'm not that guy. Directly ask me in front of a million people and I'd be delighted to have an exchange. That would have been fun, even just between us three.

Even tho I knew why he changed his talk in response to my standing up and walking down to prevent an accident, a fact he was unaware of, I completely agreed with the abrupt change of subject matter by his general assertion that most religions are full of manipulation, lies, and subterfuge. I don't belong to any one, that is any public perception of one, except that in the protection of my right to dress as I choose and wish to live as, in addition to not limiting my practices, those things I'm attracted to seek, and then experience. I enjoy a good talk, but because David was not then and likely is not now, a man who sees the whole of a person's presence, that very socially beneficial exchange, for him I guarantee, never happened.

I dismissed the comment as stupidity, and the possibility that I was reading something into that all on my own, and went over to the cords going from the interpretors table on the side of the auditorium and did my best to cover the cords, that led out of the space. I needed some quality duct tape and didn't have any, so I found a way to gather them together and mark them for everyone who passed by. Whomever was responsible for setting up the Audio system that day screwed up, big time.

The coolest thing was that the Spanish interpretor knew someone I knew and actually interpretted for him, which was a surprise to me because in our conversations, with someone my personal experiences showed him to be a real seer, he spoke perfect English. She said that he took her interpretations as insights he did not have, and her being an interpretor for the courts in the larger Los Angeles area added to her credentials, proof of her well documented bona fides. The interpretor gave me her business card, which I have to this day, almost 15 years later.

When I got back to my seat next to my son, in the Spanish speaking section, I asked him, "Did you notice that change in his talk, that switch when I stood up to fix the cords down there?" With a very serious look on his face he nodded his head and said, "Yes". That alone was worth the cost of attending. Although we were in SoCal that week to tend to other important things, I sensed that experience, towards the end of a long talk that day was spiritually rewarding. David went after my appearance without seeing me, nor even treating me as a soul in one temporary identity, which is antithetical to all of his writing and speeches that claim some degree of humanity. Nothing new to me, just worth noting.

As is mentioned in some previous posts here, I too see his interpretations about the nature of the realities here as the result of merely temporary insights, insights that are often manipulated by energies that exist beyond the mundane and ordinary senses, even as I see many of those even ordinary experiences as amazing and beautiful.

It was good that David exposed his lack of awareness, and his cheap shot nature, because my son got to see the limitations in person of a man whose writings my son knew well. I was not surprised that my son almost all but ignored anything else David wrote from then on. I value what he has done, but I take it all in balance as to those things I do think that any true servant of humanity, thus of their connected selfless selves, would expect. We carry on and we share.

I've watched about half of the Icke on Redacted piece.... and I have mixed feelings about it - and him...

Obviously he has done a lot of research and many influential speaking engagements over the years and carved out a very successful niche for himself - he's famous and popular - that much is clear - I do like him and respect the work he's done although there is a touch of something going on that I can't quite put my finger on...

It was interesting to hear again how it all began for him and now I hear it again I think that he had a spontaneous kundalini 'erruption' - that began when he was going through the strain of the career change from football and the new job at the BBC..... starting in waves in this country and reaching a pitch in Peru... what he describes is a classic kundalini experience, I think, although I'm not sure if he has ever described it as such....

I'm not sure if Betty Shine actually predicted his rise to World Fame per se or whether her saying that encouraged him to actually achieve it and make it happen - which is a big achievement by any standard, who could deny that -

I think the 'Reptilian' Shape Shifting thing is probably because we are hybrids and part Inter Dimensional Being and part 'something from Earth' - and the Inter Dimensional part sometimes comes out a bit or a lot....

A little off topic but many years ago my father carried out some personal work for Betty Shine. She told him that he was a great healer and so he downed tools at once and gave her some hands-on healing for which she was very grateful. Of course from that time on my father gave every one of his customers healing as well as his family. He even ‘unbent’ a knobbly broken finger that my grandmother had injured in a sash window several years before.
