That was fairly close to the Ashkenazi question and the "Khazarian hypothesis".

The difference is, Khazarian nobility is Turkish (Altaic), Jewish by conversion, with no trace of an empire's revenge passed down, as has been suggested.

Very interesting video above. Just about impossible to get a straight answer as to what exactly jewishness consists of, for Jews who have the 'right of return' to Israel and literally take over the land from Palestinians.
