They don't have it to lose.

The military is a thinly-veiled system of conscription. It draws from the ranks of the uneducated by eliminating normal civilian lifestyle and employment, making itself look like a good job or the only kind of economic future. The closest thing it has to a "mind" is the objective view of experienced commanders who do not think this is a good idea, but only for logistical reasons, such as the impossibility of it.

Ideally, they would court-martial the commander-in-chief on the spot.

It's not much, but, there are about three seconds where a flaming police car rolls down the street by itself; *golf clap*. It's the vaudeville of modern politics. That would make a good trope, to extract that car and make a larger, enhanced video for more than three seconds...I have no problem if you alter something, as long as it is known to be "enhancement of brief shot" or whatever.

When you try to hide Tel Aviv, as if that did not happen, that is also a problem. I do not think I would want to participate in a spectator sport of filming Ben Gurion, for the simple fact that missiles are too fast and there is nothing you can do, should one slip out of the pack, or an Iron Dome goes sideways. I prefer something you can react to, like the attempted assassination of mayors. Perhaps they were left alive for a reason.
