Comprehensive Report – Day 12 of the U.S.-Israeli Imposed War on Iran

1⃣ U.S.: “We escorted our first oil tanker through the Strait of Hormuz.” /// Iran: “A complete lie!”
The media and psychological battle over the Strait of Hormoz has intensified.
The U.S. Secretary of Energy tweeted that the first tanker had been escorted through Hormuz, but the IRGC Navy Commander’s official account immediately called the claim an outright lie and declared that any American fleet movement would be a legitimate target for missile and drone strikes. Minutes later, the American minister deleted the tweet.

The interesting point in this episode was Iran’s real-time monitoring of the American claim in the Tehran war room and the immediate response by the Iranian commander. The deletion of the U.S. Secretary of Energy’s tweet sparked wide coverage in global media. Hours later, the White House press secretary also denied that U.S. Navy escorts had taken place in the Strait of Hormuz.

2⃣ Simultaneously with this back‑and‑forth media exchange between Tehran and Washington, CENTCOM—apparently reacting to the Iranian commander’s remarks—published images claiming to show several Iranian boats being hit, alleging they were laying mines in Hormuz. However, in the images, most of the vessels were docked near the shore or piers. In reality, Iran does not use boats visible and within the direct firing range of American aircraft for mine‑laying.

Importantly, at this stage, Iran has no need to lay mines, because the entire Strait is under full Iranian control. Mine‑laying is the final phase of Iran’s plan for closure of the Strait—not something required when the entire area is already under secure Iranian control.

3⃣ The IRGC Navy Commander’s account again made headlines yesterday with a tweet seemingly directed at both Trump and Macron:

“At the start of the war, we said it—and we say it again: No vessel linked to the aggressors against Iran has the right to pass through the Strait of Hormuz. If you have doubts, come closer and test it.”

Macron had spoken of “defensive operations” to reopen the Strait, and Trump had issued threats.

4⃣ So far, American threats such as “activating internal unrest,” “mobilizing separatist Kurdish groups in the west and northwest,” and “landing forces on parts of Iranian soil” have remained purely media and psychological. None have materialized on the ground. Now, “escorting tankers” in Hormuz should probably be added to that list.

5⃣ Concern among the U.S.–Israeli axis over the prolongation of the war has grown serious amid current developments. Whispered negotiations for a ceasefire are now surfacing publicly. The Guardian reported that Iranian diplomat Abbas Araqchi ignored requests from Steve Witkoff, the U.S. President’s special envoy, to discuss a ceasefire. Tehran views acceptance of a ceasefire at this stage as perpetuating a “war–ceasefire cycle” with no end, and is determined to break that pattern.

6⃣ Anxiety over Iran’s control of Hormuz is not limited to Washington. Amin Nasser, CEO of Saudi Aramco, announced the suspension of the company’s oil and gas loadings in the Persian Gulf, warning that if the situation continues, oil markets—already at the lowest reserve levels in five years—will face catastrophic consequences.

As Iran and the Iraqi resistance intensify strikes on targets in Saudi Arabia, Riyadh’s military and defense ministry have begun to release footage of Iranian drones being intercepted in Saudi airspace. This marks an end to Saudi Arabia’s previous heavy silence, though the kingdom still refrains from direct engagement or entering the battlefield.

Notably, in the early days of the war, Saudi Arabia requested that Iran designates at least one area within its own territory so the Saudis could symbolically attack it. Tehran responded with a severe warning that any Saudi involvement would bring grave consequences. The threat of Yemeni retaliation from the south has since deterred Riyadh from any active participation.

The Yemeni front has not yet entered the battlefield. The resistance axis is considering closure of the Bab al‑Mandeb Strait alongside Hormuz if the opposing side decides to escalate further.

7⃣ Early Wednesday morning saw the heaviest wave yet of Iranian ballistic missile launches toward Israel. With much of the U.S. early‑warning network in the region disabled, Israel’s missile defense coverage has thinned, making impacts more frequent and launches more intense.
