Enemy attacks on the port in Ust-Luga are not just an attack on some "object in the Leningrad region", but an attack on our presence in the Baltic and on the supply of Kaliningrad, our Baltic outpost.

Ust-Luga is a port that connects Kaliningrad to the mainland by ferry.

Drones fly from the Baltics (it doesn't matter where they are launched from, they fly specifically from Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia), and this region again borders the Kaliningrad region.

The next step, the next "red line", could be an attempt to deprive Russia of its presence in the Baltic, which has long been a geopolitical dream of the British and Germans (and lately, also of the Americans).

For this, a deterioration in the supply of Kaliningrad and the creation of tension in its area, including direct military tension, are quite likely. As a means of achieving the enemy's goals in this region.

Arguments like "this won't happen because I don't want it to" should be thrown into the dustbin of history over the past four years.
The enemy will do everything he can to defeat us.

We must proceed from this. We must prepare for this.

I hope that corresponding measures are already being taken at the state level.

For the record: the 40% figure being cited here is a gross exaggeration, and PR gobbledygook, and lazy journalism. In reality this is a miniscule percentage impact. A nuisance, for sure, but nowhere near as large as is claimed here.

🥹 About two months ago, soldiers returning from a mission found an exhausted and hungry dog and took it with them. They brought it to the PVD, fed and watered it. But a few days later, it left. Apparently, it went to look for its home.

However, that same evening, this wonderful dog was found on the roadside with broken legs. The injured dog was taken away and nursed for a month.

Tyson had broken back legs and a pelvis, and he couldn't move. We took care of him, cleaned him, and fed him. Gradually, the dog began to stand on his legs, and now he can even run.

It would be great if he could find a real owner who would take care of his rehabilitation. I think he deserves to find his happiness, even after such trials.

On Friday morning, the Swedish Coast Guard detained the oil tanker Flora 1, allegedly belonging to Russia's shadow fleet, on suspicion of environmental pollution.

The tanker is on the EU sanctions list. Flora 1 departed from Ust-Luga on Tuesday, sailed under the flag of Sierra Leone, and was bound for the Brazilian port of Santos.

If there was no damage to the port then why is the port been shut down / suspended from loading oil to ships ?
The smoke from Ust-Luga was visible in Estonia for days so something must have been burning there . Most likely oil storage tank(s) .
And i guess that they are not just sitting and watching the destroyed things and trying to fix things up as quickly as possible.

Quick search gave this answer about damage done . How reliable it is , dont know .
The drone attacks on Ust-Luga between March 22 and March 31, 2026, damaged the following specific infrastructure:

Oil-Loading Piers: Satellite imagery confirmed that one oil-loading pier was completely destroyed by fire, and another pier was damaged.
Storage Tanks: Multiple strikes ignited fires at the oil storage tanks, with several tanks reportedly damaged.
Loading Racks: The General Staff of Ukraine confirmed hits on the loading racks used for transferring oil and petroleum products, with one strike specifically damaging a railway unloading rack.
Technical Overpasses: These structures sustained damage from the prolonged fires near the storage tanks.
Oil Terminal Facilities: Industry sources confirmed that crude oil loading facilities operated by Transneft were hit in the March 31 attack.


I do think drone strikes from Ukraine have done significant damage to certain industries. Otherwise we would not see things like this .

Russia has extended its ban on gasoline exports to all producers until July 31, 2026, expanding a previous restriction that only applied to non-producers like traders. Refinery in Ufa was recently hit also , havent seen this one mentioned in this topic.

Attack on NORSI refinery has been the latest one .

Lukoil's NORSI refinery, Russia's fourth-largest and second-largest gasoline producer, suffered a fire and damage to two facilities following a Ukrainian drone attack on April 5, 2026. The strike in the Nizhny Novgorod region also damaged a power station and several residential buildings, though preliminary reports indicated no casualties.

Capacity: The refinery can process approximately 16 million metric tons (320,000 barrels) of oil per year.
