Albania employs Israeli tech and weapons to suppress anti-Kushner/Israel protests!!!

As if that were not enough:

Quote PM Rama: Iran Is Behind Tirana Protests

The prime minister casts the widening unrest as a “hybrid war,” citing antisemitic narratives, claims about resettling Palestinians and AI-manipulated content.

Prime Minister Edi Rama has accused Iran of standing behind the growing protests in Tirana against the proposed Zvërnec tourism project, shifting the government’s response from an environmental and political dispute to a national security narrative.

Speaking on June 5 from Tivat, Montenegro, where he attended the EU–Western Balkans summit, Rama said the protests were not really about the environment but part of a “hybrid war.” “Behind the protest are the Iranians, who have been involved in attacks against Albania on other occasions as well,” he told reporters in Montenegro.

Later the same day in Vlora, he expanded the accusation, saying that anti-project propaganda had taken an antisemitic character, including claims that Palestinians from Gaza would be brought to Albania and that such narratives had circulated even in some mosques. According to Rama, images and videos generated or manipulated through artificial intelligence have been used to distort the project and inflame public opinion.

But Rama’s latest claim has entered a far more volatile domestic setting. By its sixth day, the Tirana protest had expanded beyond opposition to a resort project linked to Jared Kushner and the Trump family. Protesters have begun calling for the resignation of the government, the repeal of the strategic investor framework, the cancellation of changes to protected areas legislation and the reversal of other laws they say weaken public control over natural and cultural heritage. The movement, described by activists as the “Flamingo Revolution,” has drawn large numbers of young people and is not formally led by opposition parties.

Why would it be kept secret for two years while there is a new strategic investment law and:

Quote The controversy also reflects a wider debate over Albania’s 2024 changes to the law on protected areas, which opened the door to high-end tourism projects in areas previously more strictly protected. Supporters say the changes allow controlled development. Critics say they have created a legal pathway for politically connected projects in some of Albania’s most valuable natural spaces.

SPAK, Albania’s Special Anti-Corruption Structure, has opened investigations into suspected property alienation and procedures linked to the project. On June 2, it reportedly imposed preventive seizures on bank accounts of Albania Land Development, a company linked to Qatari businessmen Moutaz and Ramez Al-Khayyat, who have been mentioned as part of the investment plan with Kushner.

That moved the case from political controversy into the justice system.

Demands range from resignation, overthrowing the government, or the first political party.

Why does everyone blame protests on something? Our president will say something like "Antifa did this", and now it is "Iran is behind it". Why is it so difficult to believe a crowd might generally agree on something?

I vaguely remember hearing about the cruise and finding an island, I think we were just told "in the Adriatic". But this is so slimy and disgusting I am not sure whether I just made that up.

I am glad they found it when it was just starting.

Unsurprisingly, Iran rebukes the baseless accusations:

Quote Iran has sharply rejected accusations by Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama that Tehran is fueling anti-government protests in the country, urging him to show some respect for the intelligence and judgment of his own people.

Taking to X on Tuesday, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Esmaeil Baghaei mocked Rama’s claims that Iran was waging a “hybrid war” of disinformation in the country, telling the Albanian leader to “calm down” and “face the music.”

“It was YOU, sir, who started this. So you should face the music!" Baghaei wrote, urging the prime minister to listen to protesters chanting, “No to corruption,” “We want justice,” and “Rama leave.”

"They are perceptive enough to distinguish truth from falsehood," he said, referring to the Albanian nation. "If you choose to sell your national sovereignty, that is your decision."

"But when confronted by the outrage and criticism of your own public, please do not use others as a convenient scapegoat to evade accountability," Baghaei added.

He said that instead of making "hackneyed baseless accusations against Iran," Rama should "take a moment to listen to your own people."

This is very, very similar like what happens in south Argentina, quasi word for word...

With the so called : " Israelis tourist "... coincidences?

And plus the government silence...the Zionist President say NO word about...not about the intentional arson from countryside where was already caught Israelis "ex soldiers" as "tourist" ...doing the arson!

No word about an Israeli magnate (owner form the sport mark "Puma" ) and his immense territorial propriety ,whit own private airfield , all of that under more that dubious circumstances ...

And helping compatriots searching for land...

Jared and Ivanka Kushner want to buy Sazan Island in Albania because it is beautiful and they want to make it a resort. How nice!

But Sazan island is not a vacation spot. It’s a well-documented strategic military chokepoint with a long military history.

In 1958, Nikita Khrushchev stood at the nearby Soviet submarine base and said, "From there I could control the Mediterranean to Gibraltar." Sazan island controls the Strait of Otranto, and the Strait of Otranto controls access to the entire Adriatic.

Every empire that wanted to control the Adriatic, wanted Sazan. Romans. Ottomans. Italians. Germans. Soviets.

What Ivanka describes as "An unbelievable, beautiful 1,400-hectare private island in the middle of the Mediterranean," is approximately 3,600 nuclear bunkers and kilometers of tunnels and hardened underground facilities, including a submarine pen the Soviets built specifically to project power into the Mediterranean, and is still an Albanian military zone.

The deal was negotiated in secret. Albanian citizens and their own parliament didn't know about it until the press reported it. The Albanian government approved it immediately after Trump won reelection. Kushner’s newly formed investment company is using $4.6 billion from Saudi Arabia and Gulf sovereign wealth funds to fund the purchase. A Qatari company, Power International Holding, is a co-owner of the project and is currently under investigation by Albanian anti-corruption prosecutors.

Now that the deal is public, the Albanians are pissed. They're in the streets marching by the thousands in Tirana, Albania’s capital with banners reading "Albania is not for sale." Private security forces have attacked protesters. The Albanian government has suspended police officers, and revoked security company licenses.

Yep, just a couple private civilians looking to open a resort. No need to look further...

Now that you know the whole story, what do you think?

    Michael T. Lester

My post on Sazan Island went viral yesterday because the verifiable facts are shocking.

Here's what I left out: Sazan is just one piece of a much bigger operation.

Jared Kushner started Affinity Partners in July 2021. One day after leaving the White House.

Within weeks, Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund wired him $2 billion. Senior Saudi officials objected. Mohammed bin Salman overruled them.

By the end of 2024, Affinity was managing $4.8 billion, almost entirely from foreign governments. Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE. Today that number is $6.16 billion. 99% from foreign nationals.

The fee structure, disclosed to the Senate Finance Committee under investigation: Kushner charges the Saudis 1.25% annually on $2 billion in committed capital. Other investors pay closer to 2%. The Senate's own investigators called this "unusually high" for a firm with Kushner's experience level, or more correctly, complete lack of experience. As of mid-2024, Affinity had generated zero return on investment and had not distributed a penny of earnings back to any client.

He's charging governments tens of millions a year to have their money sit in a bank account.

In late 2024, Senator Wyden referred Kushner to the Department of Justice for possible violations of the Foreign Agents Registration Act. The same law that put Paul Manafort in prison.

Now Kushner is back in government. Trump's "Special Envoy for Peace." Negotiating with Iran. Negotiating with Russia. Negotiating ceasefire terms in Gaza. On behalf of the United States. Not chosen by Americans. No experience running an investment firm. No training or experience in international relations. His sole credential is that he married the president's daughter. All while managing $6 billion from the governments he is negotiating with.

Before Trump's second term started, Kushner publicly promised he would not raise additional capital while serving. The New York Times then reported he was actively soliciting $5 billion more from foreign governments. His lawyers confirmed the conversations. They said he "does not intend" to take it.

He said the same thing before he took it the first time.

The Senate Finance Committee and the House Oversight Committee are both demanding answers. They've asked for every communication between Kushner and foreign governments. They've asked Affinity to preserve all documents. Any destruction of records, they said in writing, will be treated as obstruction.

Now look at the ownership chart below. It was produced as part of a corporate investigation published June 3rd titled "Exporting the Abraham Accords: The Hidden Network Converging on Albania's Shoreline." My follower
    @SlavicWoman777
    flagged it in my replies.

Five unnamed Albanian shareholders. 24% combined stake. Structured deliberately just below the 25% threshold that would require public disclosure under Dutch law.

That is someone trying to hide who is behind the money.

This is what corruption looks like when it's wearing a suit and has a law firm on retainer.

What do you call it when your government's negotiator is on the payroll of the governments he's negotiating with?

Yes. It is a new Epstein Island, but do you realize how old the Trump Tower is? This is all the sin of real estate.

Quote He's charging governments tens of millions a year to have their money sit in a bank account.

Indeed, the Petrodollar, of about the same age as that tower, is just manipulation of Arab monarchies. Captive audience. The people with the least concern for human rights are apparently the best business partners.

Definitely. I have handled stuff similar to this, and, yes, it's a bad sign. Reporting it is a judgment call, since, on paper, the law has been followed. Behind this little drip is a tidal wave.

If those involved are not stopped by the authorities, the Albanians will kill them.

This about Albania will for sure be interesting for you...
I was very surprised with this video.. in my younger years I was visiting Yugoslavia all over... Monte Negro, Macedonia, Kosovo.. yes, we were in former Yugoslavia together... and to Albania it was just step in their part of the world... was once there in their beautiful and interesting world... I understand, that these moments also small countries do not want to sell their lands... as people in Albania also do not want to sell it... give it away... To NOT nice people

Why Albanian DNA Is The Strangest In The World

Albania has one of the most fascinating genetic profiles in Europe, not because it is “strange,” but because it preserves some of the oldest and most continuous ancestry patterns in the Balkan region.

In this video, we explore why Albanian genetics often appear unique when compared to surrounding populations. The Balkans have been a major crossroads of human migration for thousands of years — where ancient European hunter-gatherers, early farmers from Anatolia, and later Indo-European groups all mixed and settled.

What makes Albania especially interesting is its long-term geographic isolation in mountainous regions combined with historical continuity. This has allowed certain ancient genetic components to remain relatively stable compared to more heavily mixed regions of Europe.

    We also break down:

How Balkan populations formed over time
The role of Illyrian ancestry theories in Albanian origins
Why genetic “continuity” is more important than “purity”
How geography shaped population history in the region
Why modern DNA studies often misinterpreted complexity as “strangeness”

Instead of looking at DNA as something unusual or mysterious, this video shows how Albanian ancestry is actually a key piece in understanding the broader puzzle of European genetic history.

Not sure if this has been posted already.

Kushner Resort Assets in Corruption Probe

Albanian anti-corruption prosecutors have frozen bank accounts of a landholding company tied to Jared Kushner’s $4 billion luxury resort project amid a property fraud investigation into disputed land titles. Thousands of protesters have rallied across Albania against the development, citing environmental threats and corruption, while the probe tests Albania’s justice reforms and EU accession credibility.

    The Asset Freeze Order

    SPAK Launches Property Fraud Investigation

As reported by the Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP), Albanian anti-corruption prosecutors on Tuesday froze the bank accounts of a landholding company tied to the controversial $4 billion luxury resort project. The Special Prosecution Against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK) specifically targeted Albania Land Development, which is owned by Qatari investors involved in the resort venture.

The asset freeze represents a significant escalation in what has become Albania’s most high-profile corruption investigation in recent years. According to OCCRP reporting, the investigation focuses on property fraud related to 2024 land reclassifications and ownership changes that permitted development in areas previously designated as protected zones.

    Scope of the Investigation

The investigation encompasses Sazan Island and the Vjosa-Narta wetlands, two ecologically significant areas known for hosting rare wildlife species. The resort project, backed by Jared Kushner’s private equity firm Affinity Partners, spans these critical environmental zones, raising concerns among conservationists and local communities.

Newsweek reported that the anti-corruption probe targets the Kushner-linked resort amid escalating protests across the country. The investigation into 2024 land reclassifications examines how protected areas were re designated to allow luxury construction, a process critics allege benefited politically connected foreign investors.

    Protests Escalate Across Albania

Mass Demonstrations in Tirana and Coastal Towns

As documented by multiple media outlets, thousands of people have rallied in Tirana and coastal towns against the resort project, citing environmental threats and corruption concerns. The demonstrations have grown in size and intensity over recent days, with protests swelling in the capital and other locations throughout the country.

The unrest has fueled nationalist slogans, environmental demands, and opposition calls for Prime Minister Edi Rama’s resignation. Protesters have taken to the streets expressing frustration over what they perceive as the privatization of public resources and environmental destruction.

    Violent Clashes and Police Response

Protests escalated after barbed-wire fences blocked public beach access to the resort site, leading to violent clashes between demonstrators and security personnel. According to AFP reporting referenced by Newsweek, some demonstrations turned violent, resulting in arrests.

Viral footage showing guards assaulting protesters at the fenced-off site prompted police disciplinary measures and additional arrests. The Albanian authorities revoked licenses for two security firms following incidents involving guards and demonstrators.

As reported by Fox News, Jared Kushner’s luxury resort project in Albania faces an anti-corruption investigation as violent protests erupt over fencing of the development area. The footage of guards assaulting protesters circulated widely on social media, amplifying public outrage against the project.

    The Kushner Resort Project

    Affinity Partners’ $4 Billion Vision

Jared Kushner’s private equity firm Affinity Partners is backing the $4 billion luxury resort project that has become the centre of Albania’s corruption probe. Kushner himself has stated that the idea for the project began during a 2021 yacht trip when he first saw Sazan Island.

Following that initial visit, Kushner secured strategic investor status for the development, positioning his firm as a key partner in what was marketed as a transformative tourism project for Albania. The ambitious plans include up to 10,000 hotel rooms, villas, and a marina, designed to create a world-class eco-resort.

The resort is marketed as featuring designs by renowned architects, with Affinity Partners promoting it as an environmentally conscious development despite concerns raised by environmental groups.

    Ivanka Trump’s Comment Sparks Backlash

Ivanka Trump’s public remarks describing Sazan Island as a ‘private island’ intensified backlash against the project, with opponents portraying the language as emblematic of privatizing public resources. The comment became a focal point for critics who argued that the project represented foreign elites claiming ownership over Albanian public assets.

This characterization fueled nationalist sentiment among protesters, who adopted slogans emphasizing Albanian sovereignty over their natural resources and coastline.

    Environmental and Property Rights Concerns

    Protected Areas Under Threat

The Vjosa-Narta wetlands where the resort is planned are known for hosting rare wildlife species, making the development proposal particularly controversial among environmentalists. Critics argue that the 2024 legislative amendments eased restrictions on luxury construction in protected areas, directly benefiting the politically connected foreign investors behind the Kushner project.

Environmental groups have expressed serious concerns about the ecological safeguards surrounding the development, questioning whether the project genuinely qualifies as an “eco-resort” given its location in sensitive wetland areas.

    Greek Minority Property Rights

The dispute combines environmental concerns with property rights issues raised by Albania’s Greek minority, adding another dimension to the controversy. The Greek minority in Albania has historically raised concerns about property rights in coastal areas, and the resort project has reignited these tensions.

Newsweek reported that the anti-corruption probe targets property fraud related to ownership changes that affected local communities’ access to beaches and coastal areas. The barbed-wire fencing that sparked violent protests specifically blocked public beach access, affecting both Albanian citizens and Greece’s minority community in the region.

    Political Stakes and International Implications

    Testing Albania’s Justice Reforms

The probe tests Albania’s justice reforms and EU accession credibility, representing a critical moment for the country’s democratic institutions. Albania has been pursuing EU membership for years, with the bloc requiring robust anti-corruption measures and independent judicial systems as prerequisites for accession.

The Special Prosecution Against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK) was established as part of Albania’s justice reform efforts, and its handling of this high-profile case will be closely watched by EU officials.

    EU and Greece Express Concerns

The EU, Greece, and environmental groups have expressed concerns about transparency and ecological safeguards surrounding the Kushner resort project. Greece has particular interest in the matter due to its proximity to Albania and the presence of Albania’s Greek minority in the affected coastal regions.

European Union officials have been monitoring Albania’s anti-corruption efforts closely, with this case serving as a potential indicator of whether Albania’s justice reforms are delivering real results or merely creating the appearance of reform.

    Conflict of Interest Concerns

The investigation raises conflict-of-interest concerns over Kushner’s political and business roles, given his previous position as a senior advisor to former President Donald Trump and his current role as a private equity investor. Kushner’s dual identity as both a former high-ranking US government official and now a major foreign investor in Albania has drawn scrutiny from ethics experts and political analysts.

The overlap between Kushner’s diplomatic connections and his business interests has fueled questions about whether the project received favourable treatment through political channels rather than merit-based processes.

    Government Response and Opposition Demands

    Prime Minister Rama Defends Project

Prime Minister Edi Rama promotes the resort as a transformative tourism project that will bring significant economic benefits to Albania. The government has emphasised the potential for job creation, foreign investment, and positioning Albania as a premier Mediterranean tourism destination.

Rama’s administration has argued that the strategic investor status granted to Kushner’s firm was part of legitimate economic development efforts to attract foreign capital to Albania.

    Opposition Calls for Resignation

Opposition parties have seized on the controversy, with rallies swelling in Tirana and other locations as opposition leaders call for Prime Minister Edi Rama’s resignation. The opposition argues that the project represents corruption and cronyism that undermines Albania’s sovereignty and environmental heritage.

The nationalist slogans adopted by protesters reflect broader discontent with the government’s approach to foreign investment and natural resource management.

    Legal Loophole to Luxury Development

    Legislative Amendments Facilitate Construction

Critics say recent legislative amendments eased restrictions on luxury construction in protected areas, benefiting politically connected foreign investors like Kushner. These legal changes allegedly created opportunities for developers to reclassify protected land as suitable for commercial development.

The 2024 land reclassifications under investigation specifically examined how these legislative changes were applied to enable the Kushner resort project.

From Yacht Trip to Strategic Investment

Kushner’s narrative about the project originating from a 2021 yacht trip when he first saw Sazan Island has become part of the public story surrounding the development. After that initial visit, he moved quickly to secure strategic investor status, which provided special privileges and protections for foreign investors in Albania.

The rapid progression from initial discovery to strategic investor status has raised questions among critics about whether the process was properly vetted and transparent.

    Ongoing Developments and Future Implications

    Licenses Revoked for Security Firms

Albanian authorities revoked licenses for two security firms following incidents involving guards and demonstrators at the resort site. This disciplinary action represents one of the government’s responses to the violent clashes that occurred during protests.

The revocation came after police disciplinary measures were implemented in response to viral footage showing security guards assaulting protesters.

    Investigation Continues to Expand

The property fraud investigation continues to expand, with SPAK examining multiple aspects of the land reclassifications and ownership changes. As reported by OCCRP, the widening investigation into the $4 billion luxury resort linked to Jared Kushner has led Albanian authorities to freeze developer assets.

The investigation’s scope suggests prosecutors are examining not just the immediate property transactions but potentially broader patterns of corruption and irregularities in Albania’s land development approval processes.

    National Flashpoint for Albanian Politics

Why the resort has become a national flashpoint centres on the convergence of environmental concerns, property rights, corruption allegations, and questions about foreign influence in Albania’s economy. The dispute encapsulates broader tensions about Albania’s development model, its relationship with foreign investors, and the balance between economic growth and environmental protection.

The protests, asset freezes, and ongoing investigation represent a critical test case for Albania’s democratic institutions, rule of law, and commitment to transparent governance as it pursues EU membership.

Why genetic “continuity” is more important than “purity”

Instead of looking at DNA as something unusual or mysterious, this video shows how Albanian ancestry is actually a key piece in understanding the broader puzzle of European genetic history.

Most of that occurs within the Bronze Age.

Romania, at least, began the Gold Age about 2,000 years prior.

The corollary is that the oldest/most continuous/purest ancient European DNA is the Native Americans.

Secondly, some of the most unique identifiers are to be found in Mitochondrial Haplogroup U:

Quote Ulrike (German for Mistress of All)

which, being later than the Siberian-Americans, is more notable in India, particularly among the Kalash. But it is also in the Sami ("Laplanders") for instance.

    Albanian mtDNA:

Quote U5 and U4, which include over half of Albanians have been identified in numerous samples of the ancient Balkans.

Or, better put, over half of the U(x) subclades are these varieties that come from the earliest Anatomically Modern Humans.

Although everyone has it, mtDNA is only passed from mother to daughter, like Y-DNA is father to son.

As you might guess, male groups are the ones who tend to travel distantly and independently. So, for the most part, by looking at ancient female genetics, this shows what is stable and settled. Viz. Haplogroup U for its branchings -- there are several, but it turns out not to be terribly complicated, compared to most other kinds.

U4 is purest among the Kalash (34%), making them like their own continent.

Similarly, the U9 branch shows descent to Makran --> Yemen --> Ethiopia.

However, U is among the rarest things found in Europe. Broadly put, Albanians are more closely related/less modified from Ice Age groups, whereas most of Europe is modifications and mixing within about the last 5,000 years.

There just happens to be no linguistic evidence of "Illyrians" until recorded by classical Greece; and most of our thought processes are too wrapped up in these names and associations we make.

For instance, the genetics prove that the Kalash traditional spoken history is false. Similarly, most other histories such as that created by the Greeks, bear little semblance to reality.

Anyway, more power to them kicking out, what, perhaps, is a race that might have something genetically wrong with it.

This gets interesting because it is a diaspora nation:

Quote Approximately 2.3 million Albanian citizens lived abroad as of 2025, representing nearly half of all Albanian nationals globally, according to the country's Institute of Statistics.

Almost half. It is also explained that the government is interested in them, and, they feel some amount of "return" to the country; remittances amount to 8.4% of GDP.

From a diaspora organization Germin, this is indeed one of their latest topics:

Quote Diaspora Interest in Voting Continues to Grow, While Citizen Information Remains a Key Challenge
    Date: June 12, 2026

Prishtina, 26 May 2026 – Germin organised the discussion roundtable, “Out-of-Country Voting: The Diaspora in Kosovo’s Parliamentary Elections”, where it presented its analysis on the organisation, participation, and impact of diaspora voting in Kosovo’s 2025 parliamentary elections.

The analysis shows that diaspora participation in elections has steadily increased over time, while 2025 marked the most significant change in the history of out-of-country voting. For the first time, citizens were able to vote in person at diplomatic missions alongside postal voting and the use of postal drop boxes abroad.

The findings highlight that postal voting remains the most widely used form of participation. At the same time, the main challenges relate to informing citizens about voting procedures and deadlines, as well as improving institutional coordination.

The report also provides concrete recommendations to strengthen the process, including enhancing public information efforts, standardising electoral procedures, and establishing a permanent unit for out-of-country voting within the Central Election Commission (CEC).

Will they, perhaps, be interested in participating in government with the...situation...coming to light?

As in most former Communist countries, there are regrets about the new business partners.

BREAKING: Albanians tore down barriers at Kakome Beach in the country’s south, declaring what should never have needed saying: the coastline belongs to the public, not oligarchs.

The confrontation comes as anger grows over the privatization of Albania’s beaches, public land, and protected coastal areas — a backlash now intensifying alongside opposition to the controversial Kushner-Trump resort project.

Tens of thousands of Albanians have gathered for the 22nd day in a row to protest plans to build a luxury resort on Albania’s southern coast, a development linked to Jared Kushner.

Who gets to own Albania’s future: the people who live there, or the billionaires trying to buy it?

Famous now under the name Flamingo Revolution, we also find the appearance of the Jolly Roger, just like in Nepal. The situations are quite similar. Neither one has ever had a real government. Both corrupted themselves over the tipping point.

    Albanians don't forget:

Quote On 10 June, the protest in Tirana was organized as a larger nationwide gathering and coincided with the 148th anniversary of the League of Prizren. Protesters used the slogan "Prizren 1878, Tirana 2026", with banners comparing the gathering of Albanians from five Ottoman vilayets in 1878 to the participation of Albanians from five continents in 2026.

So, yes, this is a really serious diaspora issue. American Albanians don't just say "America takes it." In fact it is hard to find sympathy for the perpetrators.

Thousands of poor people can overthrow oligarchies. Americans have a hard time grasping this. The Flamingo Revolution presents a set of coherent demands. In America it's next to impossible to agree on more than one thing. If you go out for impeachment, the living dead will sit in their offices and ignore you.

There, they intend to eliminate all the Rama reversals of environmental protection; it is hard to be more disgusting than obliterating large sections of law in order to sell to the rich. It is also not really possible to stop them, if they were not gunned down by an army on the first day, they will be able to reclaim their government.
