It seems to me that if in the Anglosphere, there were discussion groups of RW/LW people ... who could agree on some things, and who could present a picture of people getting along ... then it would change things.

It would reform the "Whole".

And if enough people do that, then the Whole Tree would start to wake up as a Whole Tree.
Lots of small unifications make the tree wake up.
And this must be the solution.

At the moment the RW/LW are two halves of the old white tree.

But if they don't get their **** together, there will be many more players, the Hindu RW and the Muslim LW and whoever knows. And there will be no more tree to unify.

I think this is do-able with good people.
Lots of good people on both sides.

Or do people just like fighting ?

Going to say the Anglosphere is defective.

What made the United States progressive in the early 1800s is primarily represented by China of the 2000s.

Chinese leadership is already taking place.

Speakers of English are hard pressed to make themselves relevant to the world's future.

It might be helpful if some of them were able to become mentally flexible enough to participate. Right now is a stage of utter denial where cognitive dissonance over the loss of the Fiction is an insurmountable barrier.

And yes, many of my neighbors like fighting, in the sense of starting trouble anywhere in the world. On the other hand, there are those of us with no qualms about fighting such troublemakers. Most of us don't get to do what we like. We react to scenarios that are forced on us. When it crosses a certain line, we will fight it.

The US has effectively committed suicide by clinging to its fake policies. Chances are, the coming world order will be a vehicle with no US veto power.

The idea of reform requires input from outside its usual channels.
