From its inception, Zionism has been a violent, colonial ideology. The State of Israel, founded through decades of Zionist migration and anti-Palestinian violence, is a perfect distillation of Zionism, not a departure from it. Zionism is Israel’s state ideology.

In the 78 years since Israel’s creation, which was finalized in an organized and systemic ethnic cleansing campaign, Israel has terrorized its neighbours, swallowed up Palestinian land and devoured its inhabitants, and is committing a genocide to destroy the lives of those who remain. Israel is an explicitly Jewish supremacist state, and perhaps the only one left in the world where supremacy is openly, proudly, and formally enshrined in law, and expanding in its scope.

There’s a range of opinions within Israel’s political leadership, but all factions believe in supremacy enforced through some level of violence. In short: Zionism is a hateful ideology guiding a state that has committed the worst crimes of the 21st century in its name.

That Zionism is a state ideology doesn’t make it less hateful than if it were relegated to the fringes. Instead, it just means it has succeeded to the fullest extent. This is undoubtedly true in Israel. It’s also true in Canada in a different way: Zionism has achieved more explicit, mainstream support than any other openly supremacist movement at this point in time.

Zionism And Jewish Canadians

Zionism is so rampant in Canada’s Jewish community that it has effectively become more important than Judaism, though many, if not most, Jewish Canadians say the two are actually one. Many anti-Zionists dispute this assertion in theological terms, but I don’t care about these debates, in the same way that theological schisms in Christianity are of no interest to me outside of the odd late-night Wikipedia search.

What I am interested in, however, is examining how much of the community falls on each side. By this measure, it’s evident that anti-Zionists are losing the battle. Nearly three years of genocide, involving some of the most depraved acts of violence and cruelty witnessed this century, has reduced the support Israel receives globally, with a recent poll finding it to be the “world’s most disliked country.” Mass support for Israel among Jewish Canadians, however, has persisted.

An assortment of polling of Jewish Canadians conducted between February 2024 and November 2025 has found:
* 94 per cent “support the existence of Israel as a Jewish state”;
* 84 per cent are “emotionally attached to Israel,” the highest level since the survey began in 2018;
* 71 per cent don’t believe believe Israel is committing genocide;
* 64 per cent believe it’s antisemitic to say Israel is committing genocide;
* 61 per cent oppose an arms embargo on Israel;
* 55 per cent categorize Israel’s actions in Gaza as either self-defence (34 per cent) or hostage return (21 per cent), compared to 24 per cent as either war crimes (10 per cent), ethnic cleansing (4 per cent), or genocide (10 per cent);
* 53 per cent disagree with the claim that “Canada should do more to protect civilians in Gaza”;
* 48 per cent (a plurality) believe Hamas is to blame for starvation in Gaza, while just 17 per cent blame Israel — another 13 per cent believe there was no famine or even widespread hunger;
* 1 per cent identify as anti-Zionists.

The survey that found 94 per cent effectively support Jewish supremacy in Israel also found that “only” 51 per cent explicitly identified as Zionists, which led some anti-Zionists to declare victory. They were wrong to do so. As I quipped in response to reporting on the survey: “‘Poll: Vast majority of Canadian whites say Canada has right to exist as a white state, but half don’t identify as racists.’”

In addition, the community:
* is represented by and made up of explicitly Zionist organizations, from synagogues, to schools, to camps, to community groups;
* is the largest sender of charitable donations from Canada to Israel (at least $1.7 billion in donations were sent from 2018 to 2024, and an examination of contributors per year reveals them to overwhelmingly be Jewish charities);
* supplies a stream of members as soldiers willing to die and kill for the Jewish supremacist State of Israel, a pipeline unlike any other that exists among Canada’s hundreds of demographic groups.

In May, nearly three years into the genocide, an estimated record-breaking 60,000 people marched in Toronto’s annual pro-Israel walk. I view this with the same sort of scorn as the 1939 Nazi rally at Madison Square Garden organized by the German American Bund, which drew more than 20,000 people.

One difference does stick out, though: unlike any other genocide before it, including the Holocaust, the Gaza genocide has been live-streamed since day one and broadcast to all of us. This hasn’t shattered Jewish Canadian support for Israel. In fact, it has strengthened the support and emotional attachment of many, as seen in the open radicalization of some prominent Jewish figures.

Zionism And The Broader Establishment

It’s clear Zionism has wide support among Jewish Canadians, to an extent unrivalled by other communities relative to whatever form of extremism and supremacy may exist among them. ISIS, for example, was broadly reviled by Muslims globally, and they fought, killed, and died to defeat it.

But this level of support for Zionism among Jewish Canadians isn’t enough to call it the most successful hate movement in Canada. That claim becomes justified upon examining how Zionism is treated by Canada’s elite in politics, media and civil society.

In June 2025, Prime Minister Mark Carney called for the establishment of a “Zionist, if you will, Palestinian state,” which is about the same as urging German Jews be ruled by a new Nazi government after the Holocaust.

In March 2025, then-prime minister Justin Trudeau said, “No one in Canada should ever be afraid to call themselves a Zionist. I am a Zionist.”

Pierre Poilievre, the leader of Canada’s opposition party, said in an October 2024 statement: “We won’t bow to the radical, woke, anti-Zionist Jew haters. [...] We unapologetically stand with Israel through fire and water.” The party’s deputy leader has explicitly identified as a Zionist.

The federal government, seven provinces and at least 20 towns and cities have adopted the IHRA definition of antisemitism, which, according to a federal handbook, classifies opposition to Zionism as antisemitism.

A Senate study released in December 2024 included among its recommendations that “it is unacceptable in Canadian society to target Zionists or to deny them fair and equitable access to public spaces for the sole reason that they are Zionists,” effectively calling for the treatment of Zionism, a political ideology, as a protected category.

This framing has also been pushed in lawsuits launched by Jewish students against universities and backed by major Jewish community organizations. The editor-in-chief of the National Post, the flagship publication of Canada’s largest newspaper chain, stated in a 2024 email to subscribers: “I feel privileged to be editor-in-chief of the National Post right now, leading a paper that has been Zionist in its commentary since it was founded 25 years ago.”

The Globe and Mail, Canada’s only other national newspaper, recently published an article from the editorial board arguing that Carney should have declared himself to be a Zionist in a speech he gave at a Toronto synagogue.
A co-founder and former head of an organization dedicated to combating hate groups has described themselves as a Zionist and written that Zionism is essential to Jewish identity.

So, to sum it up...

Zionism is not condemned by those in power; it’s openly supported. Prominent Zionists feel no pressure to conceal their ideology in the way proponents of supremacy usually do; they are encouraged to share it, and applauded when they do so.

Zionists aren’t seen as proponents of hate; they’re treated as a victimized group to be protected by limiting the freedoms of others. Jewish Canadians aren’t expected to condemn Zionism or Israel in the way Muslims were for extremist forms of Islam; non-Jewish Canadians are expected to support or at least not oppose Zionism because it’s positioned as an essential part of Jewish identity.

If another hate movement took over almost an entire community, it would be treated as a serious problem; Zionism is often defended precisely because it’s so widespread among Jewish Canadians.

The past three years have increasingly turned Canadians against Israel. This has resulted in those in power using increasingly heavy-handed attempts, many of them successful, to protect Zionism.

Zionism is on the attack, not retreat.
Zionists are coming for any and all of us willing to oppose their ideology.
The fight continues.

Unsurprising.

Canada has tracked a little differently than the United States, and, perhaps someone from there could echo this on a more personal level.

That's because of its ties to the UK. And so it was recruited for the Boer War. This was the first use of propaganda to win public support for a capitalists' war that there was no interest in. The underlying theme was basically the same, racism, except the enemy races were Dutch and Germans.

A few years later, there was no...significant ideological clash with Nazism; there was only a reaction because they invaded Poland.

So, it would be interesting to see how and when a Zionist bloc got so firmly rooted there. Here in the US, it is almost solely attributable to "religious sensitivities" held by Wilson and many elites; but was not popularly accepted, until drummed into their heads by the televangelists from the late 1960s.

The American kind we could say is a flimsy excuse, a Trojan horse to cover up a military doctrine used to control or destroy the world economy. Canada cannot really take this credit. Nor do they seem to benefit from American economical snobbery. We seem to be a bit different despite the proximity and language.

The article processed polls on Jewish Canadians, and, surely, this is an extreme minority anywhere, like 2%? Politicians support it, for reasons that are hardly independent; and so we are left wondering how saturated this is into most of the population.

Here, at least about half of them don't fall for it; and I think that means we are going to have to rip ourselves in two pieces. We have moved from a semi-concealed economic Fascism, to at least a Fascist ideology state, leaving one last step before total Fascism eliminates all opposition.

This short commentary below is hard-hitting, and it has the ring of truth. I can tell you from my personal dealings with evanlegical zionists (even here in northern Canada) that what this man describes doesn't surprise me at all, sadly.

In fact, I quite agree that if there's one group that's as scary as Israeli zionists, it's the evanlegical zionists. They're so deep into that cult that they're unwilling to even hear other points of view, or acknowledge hard facts. They believe with a death grip that their salvation completely hinges on 'blessing' jews, and for them that means that absolutely no criticism of Israel is allowed, nor do they allow any description of crimes perpetrated by Israelis. Period.

That's most of my neighbors. I have tried to interact with them decades ago, and found it was just something dead, soulless.

In America, at least, this is a relatively modern phenomenon spread by television, but I would add:


Prison. That's where a lot of people "become" preachers.

Business. An American church is nothing but a type of tax-sheltered business. In other words, it's a racket, not a religion.

Evangelism is patently false because it is anti-Christianity, whereas the Jewish one is merely politicization of the problems of diaspora, mostly due to oppression from older Christian laws. Most of those were as wacko as you can get. Mankind has caused terrible problems by its attachment to some old books, whether the Catholic kind that stepped on Jews, or this newer interpretation that steps on everybody.

I wish I knew what it was like to breathe freely of this pollution, but, instead, my lifetime has witnessed a tremendous backwards rush of the state of humanity.

I thought anything like "Greater Israel" was gone, that it was too stupid that it would be shameful and embarrassing to even suggest it, but I must admit that it has mushroomed, no matter how stupid, shameful, and embarrassing.

This is not only due to the opening of possibilities for political, economic, and military relations, which Israel has been able to achieve with the help of its key partner, the United States, but also to a bold maneuver of pressure and co-optation of leaders and high-ranking officials in various countries. Each Jewish community works tirelessly, lobbying, establishing relationships of interest, and in certain cases, "putting pressure on those who don't realize the importance that Israel has in the world," according to a leader of a Zionist organization in Colombia.

Regarding the rise of the Israeli presence in Latin America, Argentina has become vitally important for Zionist expansionism. While the country has always had a strong adherence to the ideas of Theodor Herzl (the doctrinal founder of Zionism) within the Jewish community, in recent years this has multiplied, either through full adherence or through almost mafia-like imposition on those who do not submit to the dictates of decidedly pro-Israeli organizations. Since 2023, with Javier Milei's rise to power, Argentina's relationship with Israel has taken a monumental leap. Milei boasts of being "the first and foremost Zionist president" on the continent and has forged close ties with Tel Aviv, openly applauding the genocidal actions of the Netanyahu government and traveling to Israel repeatedly to establish all kinds of commercial, military, and intelligence agreements.

In fact, it is no coincidence that many analysts consider Buenos Aires to have become a second “Tel Aviv,” where the embassy and Jewish “community” organizations play a decisive role in implementing the Argentine government's strategies, as much or even more so than Milei's dealings with the US. The height of symbolic significance in this regard was the oath of office, taken on the Torah by former Foreign Minister Gerardo Werthein. In addition to the repeated arms purchases and instructor exchanges, which began in earnest when former Security Minister Patricia Bullrich traveled to “Tel Aviv,” donned the uniform of the occupying army, and practiced shooting with Israeli officers, there are also the various operations promoted by businessman Mario Montoto of the Argentine-Israeli Chamber of Commerce.

Among the latest initiatives of both governments is the signing and implementation of the "Isaac Accords" to deepen cooperation in defense, intelligence, and security, not only for Argentina but for the rest of the continent. It is no coincidence that Israel designated Buenos Aires as its regional operations center. These "agreements" are similar to the "Abraham Accords" that Israel imposed on countries in the Middle East that not only "normalized" their relations with the Zionist entity but, amidst massacres against Palestinian and Lebanese civilian populations, continue to sell or buy weapons and all kinds of supplies from the Netanyahu government.

Another element to consider regarding Zionist expansionism in Argentina is the presence of the Israeli state water company Mekorot, which came to the country through shameful agreements signed by the former "progressive" minister Wado de Pedro (during the government of Alberto and Cristina Fernández) and which now, thanks to the subservient collaboration of the governors, the flagship Zionist company has become institutionalized throughout the country.

The other aspect to consider when discussing the Zionist presence in Argentina is the slow but persistent incursion of Israeli settler-soldiers into Patagonia, which has already triggered widespread alarm in the region. Of course, their establishment in this territory has the green light from Milei's Zionist-fascist government and the open complicity of both pro-government governors and the Peronist "opposition." Among the latest and most serious developments in this regard is the establishment of an Israeli consulate in Ushuaia, which will cover three geostrategic points: Tierra del Fuego, Argentine Antarctica, and the Falkland Islands. The Israeli company Navitas Petroleum has long been established in the Falkland Islands, leading oil exploration there through the Sea Lion project, in partnership with the British company Rockhopper Exploration. The project is located approximately 220 km north of the islands, with plans to begin drilling and commercial crude oil extraction around 2028.

Argentina's neighboring countries are not far behind in their relationship with the Zionist entity. In the case of Paraguay, under the administration of far-right President Santiago Peña, the country has maintained a completely subservient stance of support for "Israel," officially moving its embassy to Jerusalem. Regarding bilateral agreements, both countries have formalized cooperation agreements in strategic areas such as defense, diplomacy, and artificial intelligence, as well as technical exchange programs for efficient water management and development in the Paraguayan Chaco.

No. it's quoting John the Baptist.

Found in Luke 3:8 and Matthew 3:7-9.

Yes, it is a diatribe against bloodline chosenites, but John adds that baptism is equally insufficient.

In Judaism, it doesn't matter what John or Jesus said. But, that would return to the mission of Christianity, which would be to absorb and replace Judaism.

That doesn't mean by force. But it does mean to do it. And when modern Israel arises as nothing but sheer force, at that point you might escalate what was merely a platitude aimed at Sadducees and Pharisees.

Such things might be a matter of degree, but, rather plainly, the idea that Christianity supports Judaism in any way is much closer to Anti-Christ. You could, perhaps, tolerate it non-violently if it were well-behaved, as in some of the diaspora communities, but not in any Zionism.
