    I am so sick of the use of immorality and seduction as a means to get people to watch a video. Right out the gate, the video posted here shows some woman with her top completely open and her boobs almost falling out followed by some other bimbo who thinks everyone will look at her because she's wearing nothing but a safety vest. This is not entertaining to me. It's more of the same immoral, attention-seeking debauchery that reflects what our society has become.
    Yep - I watched this yesterday. It kind of explains this. Listen and weep

    You Can't Dream About Your Phone - WHY?
    AI Summary:

    Chase Hughes argues that smartphones and social media have become highly effective at capturing and directing our attention, which they describe as one of the world's most valuable resources. Rather than consciously deciding to check our phones, they suggest that many of our interactions are driven by products intentionally designed to interrupt us and keep us engaged. According to him, the average person spends several hours a day on their phone, adding up to years of waking life over a lifetime.

    The talk explains that many common smartphone features—notifications, infinite scrolling, pull-to-refresh, typing indicators, likes, and recommendation algorithms—are built around well-known psychological principles. Notifications interrupt focus, the anticipation of new messages or rewards triggers dopamine, and unpredictable rewards encourage people to keep checking their devices, much like gambling mechanisms. Infinite scrolling removes natural stopping points, making it easier to continue consuming content without realizing how much time has passed.

    Chase Hughes also argues that recommendation algorithms increasingly influence which ideas, people, and opinions users are exposed to, while social platforms encourage people to seek belonging and validation through online interactions. Because these systems collect extensive data about users' behavior, they become increasingly effective at predicting what will hold each person's attention.

    Chase Hughes uses the observation that phones reportedly appear relatively rarely in dreams despite occupying so much waking time as a metaphor for how little of that screen time may feel meaningful in retrospect. He concludes that smartphones are extraordinarily powerful tools of influence, but they do not recommend abandoning them entirely. Instead, they encourage people to become more aware of how these systems shape their behavior, monitor their screen time, and consider reducing their social media use so they can devote more attention to their offline lives.

    😂 This is why so many of us accidentally got a classical music education from Saturday morning cartoons.

    Warner Bros took absolute bangers from “fancy dead European dudes,” added anvils, explosions, and one very unlucky coyote… and turned them into generational earworms.

    Huge credit to the legend @Vinheteiro for this perfect medley that’s been living rent-free in our heads for years. Childhood = classical music class without realizing it 😂🎹💥

    Anyone else noticed you can no longer pick a point in advance on a Youtube video with a 'left click' from the mouse, or just me.

    I want to find a way around that as soon as possible.

    Just tried and left click moves the video to any point I want ??

    EDIT: sorry "right click" not left!

    EDIT AGAIN: really sorry I do mean left click (all my memories are in the or from a third person point of view and I sometimes struggle with "which" view I am recalling!)

    What has been happening with Youtube videos for me is that the format of some Youtube videos was changed and the controls like the sound went from the bottom to the top. Also on those videos that have changed format you have to actually hold down thel left mouse button, while holding down on the point along the bottom of the video red line control, and slide to the place/time you wnat to listen. I really find the new way some of the you tube video are presented much harder to use than before.

    UPDATE: several hours later

    Here and Now:

    I’m feeling out of sorts this morning and couldn’t shake what I was picking up. It continued to escalate to the point where I checked the Schumann Resonance. At least some of what I’m feeling can be explained by the electromagnetic frequencies over the last couple of hours.

    There’s something more to it, though. It’s an unsettled feeling that I’d rather sit in denial with than acknowledge that I may be picking up on something I’m not ready to explore.

    Thanks for your energetic report. I hadn't thought to check the Schumann Resonance chart. I certainly feel something going on as well. One moment I am in the most grateful loving place in my heart and then I feel something is about to happen. What a time we are in for sure. Nearly all the sensitives and people exploring the more energetic side of reality are talking about changes, letting go and clearing what is blocking our energy flow so we can be clear and more open to what is always there when we can receive it.

    Thanks for the reminder to let go and clear what’s blocking the energy flow, Harmony.

    I’ve been making a conscious effort to sit in the heart. There are times when I need to place my hand on my heart to bring myself back to center.

    For about a week, I’ve noticed I’m feeling pulled between wanting to be “out and about” and not wanting to step outside my home. It doesn’t feel like fear, but that’s as far as I’ve gotten in understanding it.

    When I check within, I feel gratitude and appreciation. It’s the outside world that seems to have lost its luster. For now, I’m letting my world become smaller.

    Maybe you are just feeling one with everything and you don't "need" any more and there is no "where" you have to go. I feel that strongly sometimes, like I am already within everything and it is within me a reverberation.

    Well that fixed it instantly. I installed Libre Wolf, which is a Firefox fork - go figure, and everything was back to normal for me.

    Perhaps the error will be reported by others and fixed in next FF update.

    So, I have a preliminary diagnosis of COPD from a very alert Dr.
    I have to go to hospital Tuesday next for tests. Having never heard of it I googled on returning home and concluded it explained everything going on with me currently.
    So the question is, anyone have information outside the regular sources (controlled) that might be of value?

    COPD = Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease = Smoked too much!

    From Bill:

    So sorry!
    I copied your post to start a new thread about COPD titled

    So the question is, anyone have information outside the regular sources (controlled) that might be of value?

    COPD = Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease = Smoked too much!
    Based on what I read in Unbekoming's "The Hydrogen Peroxide Book", specifically regarding chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), as well as the general biochemistry of hydrogen peroxide, if I had COPD, I would nebulize hydrogen peroxide.

    See further my post yesterday on Unbekoming's work in general and this particular book in specific: MMS - tasteless and odourless. the new CDS -- Post #112.

    Unbekoming mentions COPD just once in this book, as one example of various forms of emphysema, to which he refers several times, such as in this quote:

    Question 20: What success has been seen with emphysema treatment?

    Emphysema patients have shown some of the most dramatic responses to H2O2 therapy. Many patients who were wheelchair-bound and oxygen-dependent have regained mobility and eliminated the need for supplemental oxygen. The therapy helps clear airways through the AlkaSeltzer effect while improving overall tissue oxygenation.

    Success stories include patients gaining weight, sleeping flat instead of propped up, and returning to normal activities after being severely debilitated. The treatment often triggers productive coughing initially as airways clear, but this typically leads to sustained improvement in breathing and overall function.

    Another small Ecuador story.

    As an intro, a flashback to many years ago back in the UK. I took my Advanced Driving Test, an interesting experience which triggered a big discount on my motor insurance. I had 12 hours of training with a retired police instructor, and the test itself featured a necessary stream-of-consciousness, thinking-aloud monologue, so that in the test (which lasted 90 minutes) the examiner could listen to (and judge!) my running commentary on what I was noticing and thinking as I drove.

    So it was like:
    • "Okay, there's a truck parked on a corner. Where's the driver?"
    • "That car is slowing down, but he's not indicating. What's he doing?"
    • "There are some kids playing by the side of the road. Have they seen me?"
    (And so on, and on and on. It wasn't easy! )

    What this instilled in me became an ingrained automatic habit to pay close ongoing attention to everything around me when I'm driving, almost all of it about anticipation of what could conceivably happen next.

    ~~~
    So back to the present. I was driving the other day here in Ecuador, and I saw a small girl, aged about 5, suddenly run out of her house which was right by the road. My automatic Advanced Driving Test chain of thought kicked in.
    • "What if the girl hasn't seen me and runs into the road?"
    So I slowed right down as a reflex precaution.
    The little girl did see me, and suddenly stopped — but then she tripped up and fell flat on her face in the road right in front of me.
    By that time, I was going slowly enough to completely stop just before I'd have driven right over her.
    She picked herself up, looking too shocked to be crying, and caught my eye. I smiled at her and gave her a thumbs up. She smiled back, and went slowly back to her house.
    After all these years, my Advanced Driving Test training had never seemed to prevent any accident — although, of course, I could never quite know that for sure. But this time it was crystal clear that I'd very probably avoided causing the death of a small girl.
