British actor Richard O'Sullivan passes away aged 82. Best known for his sitcom roles in the 1970s and 80s, including Doctor At Large, Man About The House, Robin’s Nest, Me & My Girl and many others. He'd been out of the limelight for many years after suffering a stroke in 2003.

    Yes.

    On his website https://richardalanmiller.com:

    The text:

    Dr. Richard Alan Miller

    Physicist. Author. Herbalist. Teacher. Polymath.
    1944 — September 14, 2026

Dr. Richard Alan Miller — Rick to his family, “Dr. RAM” to decades of readers, farmers, radio listeners, and students — died on September 14, 2026. He spent a lifetime insisting that physics, psyche, and soil are one subject. He left still writing, still teaching, and still turning toward other people. Across the United States, Europe, Latin America, and late-night radio in every time zone, people who never met him in person still felt they knew him.

Official statement from his sister Donna

Shared publicly September 15, 2026 · First posted by Kerry Cassidy
“My brother Richard Alan Miller died on Sept. 14, 5:54 p.m. according to 3 Rivers Hospital. He fell at home and had a heart attack – the order of that will be confirmed by the doctors. He is gifting his eyes to Lions vision, and being cremated at Hull & Hull. He will be buried at Evergreen Washelli in North Seattle, Washington where family is buried. I am listed on his will as Executor. He has two storage units of books and belongings in Grants Pass, Oregon, which I could use help in sorting. Rick just shared on his website a memorial to my husband Paul McLain who died Sept. 9 – ironic, yes? No decision yet on a service although Hull & Hull has a chapel facility.”
Kerry Cassidy added that Rick was a dear friend, that they had just seen him in Mount Shasta in great spirits, and that he is loved by many. Those who can help preserve his books and memory may write Donna at donnaptc@earthlink.net.

Lord Jeffrey Archer Dies Aged 86
    6:40

Lord Jeffrey Archer has died. The best-selling author and former Conservative politician passed away "suddenly and peacefully" at home at the age of 86.

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/ckj0l401dvpgo
Archer sold more than 300 million books in his five-decade writing career, including the Clifton Chronicles and Kane and Abel, and often set the novels in his home town of Wellington, Somerset.

In a statement, Archer's publisher HarperCollins said the author died "suddenly and peacefully at home" on Monday between writing sessions.

The former Conservative MP was jailed for perjury in 2001 after being found guilty of lying and cheating in his 1987 libel case against the Daily Star.

Archer was born in north London on 15 April 1940 but would quickly move to Weston-super-Mare in Somerset, where his family bought a house from John Cleese's mother.

In 1969, Archer was elected MP for the Lincolnshire constituency of Louth.

He served as an MP for five years before becoming Conservative Party chairman.

His political career was paused in 2001 when he was jailed for four years for perjury and perverting the course of justice.

He was found to have lied in libel action he had brought against The Star newspaper, in which he was awarded £500,000 in damages.

He was released in 2003 and returned to the House of Lords until he retired in 2024.

His last book, Adam and Eve, is set to be released this week, HarperCollins added, describing him as a "master storyteller" whose readers "meant everything to him".

Last week, Archer returned to his former school to promote his last book.

"It's wonderful to come back. What I got a real thrill about when I was walking towards the library is seeing the young boys and girls and thinking, 'that's the next generation'," Archer said at Wellington School.

Archer was due to attend the Cheltenham Festival on Saturday to discuss final his novel.

He and his wife Mary had celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this year, HarperCollins said.

The pair have two sons and five grandchildren.

    RJ Mitte, aged 34

RJ Mitte, the actor best known for playing Walter "Flynn" White Jr. on Breaking Bad, has died at the age of 34. His representatives confirmed that he passed away on October 12, 2026, by suicide.

RJ Mitte, best known for playing Walter "Flynn" White Jr in Breaking Bad, has died aged 34.

Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul led tributes to their co-star, who began his career with minor roles in shows such as Everybody Hates Chris and Hannah Montana.

In a statement, his representative said: "It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic passing of beloved actor, philanthropist, and passionate disability rights advocate RJ Mitte."

His big break came in 2008 as the son of mild-mannered chemistry teacher Walter White, who transforms into a ruthless drug kingpin.

Mitte appeared throughout the five seasons of the show - which recently ranked as the best of the 21st century in a New York Times poll.

In an emotional Instagram post, Bryan Cranston, who played his on-screen father, said the pair had exchanged text messages in recent weeks and tried to arrange a catch-up.

He wrote: "I'm in deep despair as I write this tonight. RJ Mitte, my sweet son on Breaking Bad has died. I met him when he was only 14 years old when he was cast as Walter White Jr., a part he played with such joy and enthusiasm. Born with Cerebral Palsy, he never - ever - allowed that challenge to be an excuse for anything."

Fellow co-star Aaron Paul, who played Jessie Pinkman, told The Hollywood Reporter: "I am at a loss. I am heartbroken over this news. RJ, I love you my friend. "You will be missed. And to whoever happens to be reading this, please know you are loved, and you are not alone. Always remember that."

Dean Norris, who starred as DEA agent Hank Schrader in Breaking Bad, said he was "heartbroken". He posted on Instagram: "I always looked out for him as a young kid on set. He was a sweetheart of a young man and will be greatly missed."

Real name Roy Frank Mitte III, Mitte used his platform to challenge stereotypes and promote greater representation for people with disabilities. He was also president of The Mitte Foundation and an ambassador for United Cerebral Palsy.

His other TV roles included appearances in Switched At Birth, Vegas, Now Apocalypse and Chance. He was also in films such as Time Share, Dixieland and Westhampton.

In his last movie, Talking to Strangers, he starred as a man with cerebral palsy who strikes up an unlikely friendship with a young woman.

I am saddened to hear of this young fella's suicide, I was greatly impressed by his part on Breaking Bad, which is among my favorite productions from America, along with Mad Men. He was a gifted actor, just my opinion, what a shame, so young.
