The land shown in dark, deep blue would be the most affected if, during the Geophysical Event, the upper crust or mantle were to slip and the oceans spilled over the land.

The safer areas begin with the lighter green, yellow, orange, and red regions, ranging from over 1,500 metres (4,921 feet) to 3,000 metres (9,843 feet). Areas above that elevation might be too high and cold for survival and more exposed to cosmic radiation unless you have access to deep, fortified bunkers or cave systems.

You can see on the map that there are many potentially safe areas, but also that the majority of the continents would be submerged—just look at Europe. Now you can understand why New Zealand is one of the favorite places for billionaires to build doomsday bunkers.

This is why Jesus says to flee to the mountains when you see the Abomination of Desolation.

I'm getting no sound on those videos, but perhaps there actually is no sound...which makes it difficult to understand what they are about.

These videos are showing the flooding of the earth's surface forecast when the earth's crust separates from the core and shifts rapidly, like in a day or so, approximately 90 degrees.

This article, linked in another of the videos in this series, explains:

Exothermic Core-Mantle Decoupling – Dzhanibekov Oscillation (ECDO) Hypothesis, Posted on May 12, 2024 by The Ethical Skeptic

And as I was explaining this to my son, I realized something else:
Why does the melting of a layer of the earth's crust, just below the surface, cause the ECDO to suddenly flip the surface, while the core just keeps on spinning in a pretty much stable orientation?
That's because it takes both a non-uniform distribution of mass, and sufficiently high spin rates, to get a free spinning object in space to exhibit the ECDO effect. Our earth is usually not spinning sufficiently fast with sufficient imbalance to exhibit this. No planet I know of does exhibit ECDO normally.

But since we are a water planet with surface temperatures above freezing at the equator, and below freezing at the poles, our surface accumulates extra weight at the poles over thousands of years.

Then, when the core's cyclic heating rises sufficiently to melt a layer between the core and the surface, the surface has the needed combination of mass imbalance and spin rate to send it off on its own little ECDO joy ride, while the core, that's more massive and has no accumulated ice imbalance, just keeps on spinning the same way.

Yup - global warming - please breath slow to minimize your CO2 pollution.

... and continuing the above train of thought ...

This might explain why earth seems to be a particularly interesting planet for other intelligent life in this region of the galaxy.

When a watery planet gets into one of these cycles, with polar surface flips every tens or hundreds of thousands of years, that causes a major reset of the life on the surface of that planet. Smaller, smarter, warm bodied animals have an advantage ... even if 99% of them are wiped out, a few of them might adapt to their new environment, while big cold blooded bastards or dinosaurs, which found those little warm animals to be tasty treats, might get 100% wiped out.

Each such reset will repeat the cycle, always favoring the most adaptable animals to survive in those climates capable of supporting the development of more advanced civilizations. Certainly one of the most prominent features of humans, over the other life forms we know of on this planet, is our ability to adapt to a diversity of climates and terrains. Other "climates", such as near the hot spots of underwater volcanoes, retain their climate through such pole shifts much better, and there life forms can remain unchanged for millennia. Lots of variables, and lots of species and locations on the planet, but _one_ of the side effects of periodic pole flips might be a higher likelihood of the formation of civilizations.

Only those species which have adapted sufficiently to not just survive, but to thrive, across much of the varied surface of a planet can extract and utilize a sufficient variety of that planet's resources to construct civilizations.

Perhaps the time is coming soon for our modern day variant of the dinosaurs, the cold blooded, child eating, bastards who lord over us, to be exterminated.

And if we're able to retain a sufficient portion of our knowledge into the next cycle, perhaps the civilization that forms then will begin to travel to other stars and communicate and interact openly with other civilizations of other species, originating from other such planets.

... and off topic for micronovas (this thread), but perhaps on topic for my above two comments ... one can gain insight into why the "modern industrial, technological, ..." boom of the last several centuries began, in part, in the British Isles and Western Europe.

That was one of the first places, thanks in part to sail boats crossing oceans to extract resources from colonies, that the average family became wealthy enough to cease being "herded serf labor" in kingdoms, to owning and operating their own independent farms.

That in turn rearranged family living structures so that typically the grandmother of young children lived with or close to her grandchildren, and could assist in child rearing. This led in turn to a higher average level of skills and learning in the bulk of the adult population. That has led, it seems, to our civilization, in its latest 12,000 cycle, now having enough of its planetary wide technical abilities surviving the 12,000 year reset that we might become multi-star inhabitants, in the next cycle.

Here's a link to the Youtube video I was just listening to, that discusses the inter-play of biology and family structure that led to my above thoughts:I now return you to your regularly scheduled micronova programming.

The devastation that is upcoming may be more dangerous than normal to surviving lifeforms due to the amount of toxins which the current civilizations have created, that will be spread widely all over the surface of the planet via tsunamis, then becoming airborne.

"More dangerous" in terms of what proportion of the human population survive, yes, not just due to more toxic dispersal from the climatic events, but also due to the weakened robustness of many humans due to the toxins in our diet and environment already.

But those effect percentages, not "make or fail" dichotomies. For each of us individually, it may be a life or death dichotomy, yes. For the future of the human species and civilization, perhaps more aware of its spirit, that's unlikely.

For old men like myself, one of whose current goals is to remain active long enough to witness the climax of the anticipated devastating events, that's more a chuckle than a concern, than it is for all the mostly younger readers of this forum. Good luck, y'all. I'm just doing what I can, by supporting this forum and continuing my own considerations, to contribute to our understanding.

Here's the explanation (about isostatic depression), in the Tweet accompanying the YT video:

    From the search engine https://kagi.com:
Isostatic depression is the sinking of large parts of the Earth's crust into the asthenosphere caused by a heavy weight placed on the Earth's surface.
