Did Trump and Putin Just Kill London’s Oil Game?

    Promethean Updates
    October 13, 2026

    Summary:
00:00 The Monday Brief - Did Trump and Putin Just Kill London's Oil Game? - October 12, 2026
    03:05 The Trump/Putin Trap
05:53 The Energy Wars and the City of London
07:24 Is A New Economic Order at Hand?

Barbara Boyd opens with President Trump’s Sunday announcement of an energy ceasefire in the war between Russia and Ukraine, and what led up to it: his remarks to the press that it’s time for Ukraine to get a new president, and Friday’s agreement for Russia to supply diesel to the United States and the world, with a Treasury license authorizing Russian diesel through April 2027.

She argues that Trump and Putin have exposed the game being played by the City of London: Ukraine’s drone strikes on Russia’s refineries, which the Washington Post examined, keep fuel prices high ahead of the November 3 midterms, while the Financial Times reports the administration threatened to cut off weapons and intelligence if the attacks continued, and members of Congress move against the deal.

After President Zelensky’s interview on ABC’s This Week blaming high prices on the war in the Middle East, the episode turns to the energy wars: Russia’s ban on fuel exports, U.S. diesel above $6 a gallon, no major new U.S. refinery since 1977, and Europe’s emergency diesel stocks, held mainly by Germany and France, until Trump’s export threat brought a G7 release of 100 million barrels of oil and diesel.

It closes with Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent on Operation Economic Outcast against Iran’s regime, the petrodollar system and London’s commodity markets since the 1971 collapse of Bretton Woods, President Putin’s case for long-term contracts between producing and consuming nations, the Conservative Treehouse’s argument that the world’s biggest economy is aligning against the financial schemes of London while retaining the dollar, and Secretary Bessent’s chart on prices under Biden and Trump.

Why would Trump entertain at all any notion of restarting attacks on Iran as the mid-terms elections are approaching? Because it would benefit his boss Bibi Netanyhu's chances of reelection.

That's the impression that he wants to give. But bear in mind that, like "Putin" and "Biden", Bibi was replaced by a body double some time ago. So, if you believe that Bibi is Trump's boss, you are mistaken. Trump is the front man for a number of US army generals. He is truly taking "the slings and arrows". I'm not privy to "The Plan" but it's interesting to watch it playing out. "Enjoy the movie."

You're Fighting the Wrong War - The Battle for the Midterms

    Promethean Overviews
    October 16, 2026
The battle for the 2026 midterms goes beyond polls, gas prices, and campaign messaging. Mike Steger examines President Trump’s political strategy, George Washington’s leadership, Alexander Hamilton’s American System, and why he believes national purpose, industrial growth, and citizen mobilization will shape America’s future.

In this overview, Mike argues that the 2026 midterm elections represent a struggle between two competing visions for America. He challenges conventional polling and political analysis, arguing that leadership, national identity, and a shared sense of mission are forces that cannot be fully measured by surveys or campaign statistics.

Mike begins with George Washington’s leadership during the American Revolution, examining the Continental Army’s retreat across New Jersey, the crossing of the Delaware River, and the victory at Trenton. He also discusses Washington’s handling of unrest among his officers in 1783, presenting these moments as examples of leadership rooted in trust, courage, and commitment to a national cause.

Drawing on the military philosophies of Carl von Clausewitz, Sun Tzu, and Gerhard von Scharnhorst, Mike explores three principles of political and military conflict: leadership, unity of purpose, and strategic mission. He argues that these principles help explain President Trump’s political movement and its approach to the midterm elections.

The discussion then turns to Alexander Hamilton and the American System. Mike examines the importance of infrastructure, manufacturing, technological innovation, and industrial development in strengthening national sovereignty. He highlights America's dramatic expansion of aircraft production during World War II as an example of what a mobilized industrial economy can accomplish.

Mike also discusses President Trump’s recent travels, proposed investment in Alaska's LNG infrastructure, and the White House's manufacturing initiatives. He examines reported industrial projects, foreign investment, and job creation, arguing that rebuilding America's productive economy is central to the administration's broader strategy.

Finally, Mike returns to Washington’s example of leadership and the principles of the Declaration of Independence. He argues that America's future depends not simply on electoral messaging, but on citizens understanding their national mission, exercising their rights, and participating in the country's political and economic development.

Trump Rules out Nuclear Strike on Iran When Asked About 'Mother of All Bombs'

    October 15, 2026

US President Donald Trump said he would not use nuclear weapons against Iran when asked about reports that Washington could deploy the massive conventional “Mother of All Bombs” after the midterm elections.

“The mother of all bombs is not nuclear,” Trump stressed when asked whether the reported option involved a tactical nuclear weapon.

“No, no, it’s not nuclear at all. This is just an extremely large bomb. It’s like a tiny nuclear bomb,” he said.
Trump then ruled out the need for an actual nuclear strike.

“The mother of all bombs is one big bomb, but it’s not nuclear. I wouldn’t use nuclear. We don’t have to.”

Trump's Treasury Chief Calls Their Bluff: The End of the IMF Playbook?

    Promethean Updates
    October 15, 2026

    Summary:
00:00 The Midweek Update - Trump's Treasury Chief Calls Their Bluff: The End of the IMF Playbook? - October 14, 2026
01:41 Trump Forces the Empire's Hand
04:25 IMF Says: Growth Doesn't Work
    07:00 The Empty Chair

Susan Kokinda opens with the European Union's largest expansion of its Russia sanctions list since the war began, and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent calling Europe's objections to the U.S.–Russia diesel deal "completely hypocritical", since Europe is still Moscow's biggest gas customer. The episode follows the reactions to President Trump's diesel deal, from Canada's Prime Minister Mark Carney and Boris Johnson to the EU's foreign ministers, set against President Trump's post on the European Union paying Russia $250 billion for energy and Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak's figure of $320.7 billion since 2022.

It then turns to the IMF–World Bank Annual Meetings in Bangkok, where IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva said growth alone cannot fix U.S. debt and deficits, the headlines that followed, and the IMF's playbook since Bretton Woods ended in 1971. It closes with Secretary Bessent skipping the meetings for "domestic engagements", and Peter Navarro's White House progress report on America's manufacturing investments: over 500 projects, more than $380 billion in announced investment, mapped across the country.

Peter Navarro, quote " ( 10:18 minutes ) For decades, we the people here of America have been told that the decline of domestic manufacturing was inevitable. What we have lacked has been a national policy willing to use those advantages to defend American manufacturing.

President Trump has changed that and the direction is clear. The concrete is being poured. The steel is going up. The machinery is being installed and across this great country, the American worker is getting another chance to build the world's greatest industrial economy. "

Are you listening Washington Post? Are you listening New York Times? Are you listening USA Today? Are you listening the Today Show, CNN, MS Now? Oh, and by the way, Fox News, which is not here today. ( Susan Kokinda quote Of course, they were listening, but their assignment isn't to report on reality. Their assignment is to keep pushing the failed playbook of the IMF and the EU and the global elite. But President Trump and Scott Bessant and Peter Navaro have thrown that playbook into the trash, and they are busy bringing the factories home). "

White House Press Secretary Katie Zacharia was "let go" from the role, a White House official said on Friday, after President Donald Trump said he had told her to reconsider the job following public scrutiny.

"I told her: 'I think you're better off being happy, and I'm not sure you can ever be happy in this stuff.' There's nothing easy about this stuff," Trump told reporters while departing the White House.

He added: "I said to her honestly, 'If I were you, I'd reconsider... think about it. But I would reconsider.'"

Fox News, citing a White House official, later reported that Zacharia was "transitioning" out of the role of press secretary. Zacharia started the job on Monday and held her debut White House briefing on Tuesday.

Over the last week, the issue of whether Zacharia, a graduate of California's Pepperdine University law school, had actually passed the bar — making her an attorney — came under fire.

On Friday, during a Fox News interview on Thursday, Zacharia said she did not pass the bar.

Did Trump Just Cause Europe to Commit Suicide or Are They Just Doing It Themselves

    Summary
00:00 The Saturday Wrap-Up - Did Trump Just Cause Europe to Commit Suicide or Are They Just Doing It Themselves - October 17, 2026
    02:21 Ukraine Developments
06:20 Canada and Europe Make a Suicide Pact
09:36 Ukraine and Bringing Down the Deep State

Barbara Boyd opens with President Trump's remarks to reporters on Friday, before his Georgia rally, about Ukraine's President Zelensky: he knows the details of how the war began, and at some point he will release them. She argues that the real story of the war's origins threatens what remains of Washington's Deep State, and is driving Europe and Canada into acts of state suicide to keep the war going.

The episode follows the President's push to bring down diesel prices ahead of the November 3 midterms, from the threatened U.S. export ban and the emergency diesel stocks of France and Germany to the Treasury license for Russian diesel, with Secretary of State Marco Rubio on America First.

It covers the peace plan Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff discussed with Ukrainian and European officials in Florida, as reported by David Ignatius, the restriction of Starshield, and the President's Newsmax interview.

It then turns to the European and Canadian response: Anne Applebaum on the Ukrainian army, the EU summit in Brussels and Ukraine's €70 billion financing gap, Ukraine's shortage of Patriot interceptors, the IMF's growth forecasts for Europe, the polls in France and Germany, and Mark Carney's 100-Year Partnership Declaration with Ukraine.

It closes with President Trump's 2016 ABC interview on Russia and Crimea, Scott Horton's book Provoked, and what is at stake on November 3.

Days before Katie Zacharia was outed there was a photo(s) of her with Trump in the oval office. In the first image there's what appears to be a map of an island on the Resolute desk. Someone pointed out it resembles East Potomac Park otherwise known as Hains Point which is an artificial island. There's been talk of Trump wanting the golf course there renovated. That fits the pattern of him having Wollman Rink renovated back in 1986. I believe that Earth AI profiled him via that action and is at least part of the reason he became POTUS. The Thomas Jefferson memorial is also on the island, and he was born on Saturday, April 13, 1743. The closest approach asteroid Apophis will make will be on 04/13/29.

NOT ABOVE THE LAW: Bessent’s $1.2 Billion Strike on the Empire’s Banks

    Promethean Updates

    Summary
00:00 The Monday Brief - NOT ABOVE THE LAW: Bessent's $1.2 Billion Strike on the Empire's Banks - October 19, 2026
    00:58 The $1.2 Billion Hammer
05:52 Time to Rename the Bank of 'America'?
09:15 Bessent Challenges the Whole Model

Susan Kokinda opens with the more than $1.2 billion in penalties Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent's Treasury imposed on Bank of America on October 13 for violating anti-money laundering and sanctions laws, among the largest in Treasury history, after FinCEN found the bank failed to report priority national security risks, including Chinese money laundering networks and illicit finance along the southwest border.

The episode traces the bank's record from Countrywide, Merrill Lynch and its $45 billion TARP bailout back to the petrodollar loans of the 1970s, the 1980s debt crisis and IMF austerity in Latin America, and Tom Clausen's moves from Bank of America to the World Bank and back.

It then turns to Bank of America's chairman and CEO Brian Moynihan, chair of the Sustainable Markets Initiative founded by King Charles and of the World Economic Forum's International Business Council, and the Net-Zero Banking Alliance launched in April 2021.

It closes with Secretary Bessent's statement to the IMF–World Bank Annual Meetings in Bangkok on growth, exchange rates and energy, including an initial U.S. contribution to the Nuclear Energy Assistance Trust Fund, and the gap in nuclear power between the OECD and the developing world.

When you think that Trump's behaviour couldn't get worse, there he is ridiculing a woman at his rally who got violently attacked by surrounding MAGA men because she demanded the release of the Epstein files.

"Marjorie Taylor Greene has condemned violence after footage from a Donald Trump rally appeared to show a woman wearing a “Release the Epstein Files” shirt being physically attacked by men in the crowd as she demanded the release of the files. The incident has sparked questions about political violence, the MAGA movement, and calls for transparency surrounding the Jeffrey Epstein files.

Greene, who says she defended MAGA for years, described the incident as disgusting and outrageous, questioning when demands for the Epstein files became a justification for violence against women. Her remarks have drawn attention to tensions within Trump's political movement and the growing public demand for the release of the Epstein files."

I suspect that the Epstein files have not been released in full, yet, because they want to gather evidence on ALL those people involved (hundreds or even thousands) and it involves non-Americans, too. Also I think that twice they came close to releasing the files, only to discover still more bad people were involved.

As for Trump's apparent rudeness to that woman (I thought it was a fat man when I watched the video), I can't explain that. Maybe "Trump" was one of his many body doubles going off-script. It seemed out of character to me. It was certainly unnecessary.

Trump's Squeeze Play to End the War in Europe: The Plot Behind Russia, Russia, Russia

    Promethean Overviews
    October 19, 2026

President Trump isn't just trying to end the Russia-Ukraine war. Is he preparing to reshape Europe and the entire global order?

In this Sunday Overview, Mike Steger breaks down Trump's broader strategy toward Russia, Ukraine, and Europe, examining how energy agreements, economic reconstruction, and security guarantees could lay the foundation for a new international order.

As European governments face mounting debt and political pressure, Mike examines Volodymyr Zelensky, Marine Le Pen, Alice Weidel, and the growing debate over Europe's economic future.

Drawing on Otto von Bismarck, World War I, British geopolitics, and the American System, Mike explores why he believes Trump's strategy could reverse more than a century of conflict and usher in a new era of industrial growth and Western civilization.

Must watch: Retired Colonel Wilkerson's keen analysis of the Trump administration. From his observation of Trump's total compliance to Netanyahu's demands, even to the point of considering nuclear strikes against Iran, Wilkerson can only conclude that there has to be some blackmail on Trump and Melania about something very dark. That situation is compounded by Trump's dementia. Trump's entourage have insulated him from the reality that public opinion is highly critical of him, as in "the most reviled president in american history".

Personally, I think that the Epstein blackmail operation is at the basis of Trump's entrapment by Israel/Netanyahu. An opinion that seems to be shared by most people, in the USA and globally. Why else would Trump react with such hostility to any mention of releasing the Epstein files. His retort to Marjorie Taylor Greene that the files can't be released because that would 'hurt his friends', and that she deserved the death threats she got for insisting on the files' release, all of that is so grotesquely unconscionable. I wonder why the corporate media isn't questioning Trump about this, or at least questioning Trump's entourage, and keeping this issue on the front burner and center.

Insightful commentary by Robert Barnes on the Trump administration's upcoming demise at the mid-terms, and who's preparing their exit and/or distance from the Trump team.
