    Default At least 68 killed in Spanish high-speed train collision

    This is awful in Spain. Apparently computer failure.

    At least 68 people have been killed after a Spanish high-speed train collided with another train south of the capital Madrid
    The updated death toll makes this crash the country's worst rail disaster since 2013
    Spain's transport minister says an "inexplicable" decision by the control centre led to the collision after a computer failure initially caused trains to halt
    The rail operator Iryo says its train was "struck from behind" by a Renfe train. More than 500 passengers were travelling on the two trains
    Speaking at the crash site, Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez says Spain is "grieving" - most major parties have suspended general election campaigning
    Witnesses have described "terrible" scenes, while Roberto Gómez, a Spanish journalist travelling on one of the trains, says it was "extremely chaotic and very distressing"

    Conspiracy theories mount in Spain regarding train crash.
    Some accounts claim Israel controls the security of Spainish trains and share following list of Israeli companies involving in security of trains.

    I-SEC: a subsidiary of ICTS, an Israeli-founded group established by former members of the Shin Bet, Israel’s internal security service. Renfe awarded it contracts to monitor trains, stations, and maintenance facilities.

    ALSTOM: A French rail manufacturer with a significant business relationship with Renfe and a technology partner of Cylus.

    CYLUS: An Israeli railway cybersecurity company. Alstom invested $7 million in it and signed a strategic alliance to develop railway security solutions. https://x.com/BetaniaTv/status/21155...4789267/photo/

    Hey
    @grok
    does any Israeli company have any connection to the technical security of RENFE trains in Spain?

    Yes. I-SEC Spain (subsidiary of ICTS, founded by former Shin Bet members) holds Renfe contracts for physical security of trains, stations and workshops in multiple regions including Madrid, Catalonia and Galicia.

    Cylus (Israeli rail cybersecurity firm) has a strategic partnership and stake held by Alstom, a major Renfe train supplier and maintainer; no public evidence confirms Cylus systems are installed on Renfe trains. Other Israeli tech firms have tested products with Alstom.

    Following Netanyahu’s threats against Spain, today we have a train accident—68 dead so far—and we learn that Israeli companies handle technical security for Renfe trains in Spain.

    Quite a few coincidences!!
