Default How far is tattoo far?

Hey so I love tattoo shows.. even though I have zero tattoos. I don't know why I love them so much.. I just kind of do. The best ones are the coverup ones, it's great seeing how happy people are. But this tattoo far show is the opposite of that.

Has anyone else seen how far is tattoo far? It's a show where "friends" and I use that term loosely get jokes tattooed on each other while blindfolded. What has the world come too? But I just can't look away. Anyways here is a video of a bunch of the tattoos please nobody get offended this is for educational purposes only. This thing is worse than watching Jerry Springer (I really like him too)

I think I get ADHD from watching shows like this for more than 5 minutes.

Recently I watched some educational vids about the psychology and cultural background of "my generation" (which is "X") and that topic also came up.
Here it is below. Quite an interesting video that I resonate with. I don't have a tattoo and never wanted one.
I grew up with more and more people in the 90s (friends, colleagues) coming up with inked skin and showing it off proudly.
The infamous "Arschgeweih" as we called it in Germany (translated: arse antler / lower back tattoo / tramp stamp) was pretty popular especially among the women of the time.
Despite (or because of?) the craze, I was never tempted for myself to get a tattoo, so I kept swimming against the 'mainstream' risking to remain 'uncool'. This is where the video is different from me because it states that you as a young GenXer might have considered it at the time, no, I never did.
Honestly, no offense meant to those who have them, I find them unattractive on people (no matter if men or women, old or young, etc.), never liked them.

I'm like the opposite I don't know why I find them so attractive. It's weird how somethings are beautiful to one person but not to another. Not to say that any of these tattoos in tattoo far are attractive because they're NOT. It takes skill to do tattoos but also a lot of bravery.

These people in tattoo far are taking it to the next level. It's TOO FAR! How much could they be getting paid to do that?? All I know is.. I'd never let anyone tattoo me for any amount of money.

Yes, no offense to anyone who has them, but I'm right there with ya Open Minded Dude, never wanted one. I grew up near LA in the 80's and early 90's and everyone was getting them. It seemed to be some kind of code with the new punk rock youth of the time - Doc Martin boots, blue jeans with rolled cuffs, studded belt, and tattoos everywhere, the more the better. I thought the point of punk rock was to be rebellious and free-spirited not to conform to rules and regulations. The more I saw the tattooed youth the more I knew I wanted no part of it.

My wife still recalls fondly the first time she saw me shirtless and noticed I had no tattoos. She was stunned, but in a good way. All of her friends had tats. She was thinking of getting one but when she saw me she changed her mind.

Everyone I know has tattoos. My brother is covered but they look good. He got them done when he lived on Maui so they were tastefully done, tribal type stuff. It really was an act of rebellion not to get a tattoo in those days, speaking as a proud Gen-X'er myself. And the dreaded tramp stamp, they were everywhere, lol.
