I came back to this thread because someone who is special to me has a son same age as mine (26) who is now 32 days in intensive care at Yale New Haven Hospital. I wanted to be supported and I found my post here today in an easier format to play thanks to "Lord Sidious" !

I am experiencing alternate states of joy, calm and peace, with such heart-felt grief for my friend. We do not know if this young man, who was so bent on self-destruction, is going to remain here and heal, or transition out. What a journey for all of us connected to this especially his mother and my friend, his father.

For myself, I know that I am very much aligned and able to support those around me who are so challenged and without tools or knowing that there is no death...only transition. As Steve Jobs said "Oh Wow!" (That is my exact sentiment on all of this experience) I know that what ever choice this young man makes it will be for the good of everyone involved and no matter what, we will all be OK.

So, I thank you Lord Sidious for the synchronicity of today's post.

My friend's son transitioned and passed today...11-11-11. This was a challenge and a great healing for all involved. From the mother and father, hospital nurses and doctors to being allowed, for the 1st time, to bring a dog in to Yale New Haven hospital.

And on the other side, 2 new babies were born in my family this week.
