thank you Providence for your thread. this is the first main stream media report that has been uncovered. what i find most interesting is that the name Elenin has a very distinct meaning. Extinction Level Event Notable Impact November. i for one, do not believe in a russian scientist who just happens to have that name. what are the chances of that?

i also found the fact that 2 major news papers covered the story 25 years ago. this is very valuable information. this should definitely be a must read thread.

I agree, still skeptical as to why this appears on the CNN website. Maybe officially we can't consider it sanctioned by CNN, but at least I can 'con' my friends and family into reading an article on ELENIN if it appears to be from a network news source.

The encounter of the Earth with Hercolubus takes place every sidereal year, and is thus a natural cosmic event. The first few races were not afraid of the disasters since they had not degenerated. They still had extraordinary powers, and used them to escape the catastrophes. The Protoplasmatic and Hyperborean races, for example, simply submerged themselves into the 4th dimension when the catastrophes began multiplying. The portion of the Lemurian civilization that had not degenerated did the same, while the rest perished. The vast majority of the Atlanteans died during the submersion of Atlantis, but a small minority was able to escape. Unfortunately, due to the extreme degeneration of the Arian race, there will be few who will survive the upcoming cataclysms.

Master Samael Aun Weor openly declares in his writings that we are at the times of the end. I hope you're right, but there appears to be a lot of evidence indicating that something, such as a large celestial body, is affecting the seismicity of the earth among other measurable and plausible affects on the earth and our system. I don't think it's fear mongering to be aware of the changing environment and to and explore in all of the possibilities.
