Hi Bryn, I am not sure which map you are refering to but if it's the one from http://members.westnet.com.au/mmatti/sc.htm , then there seems to be a typo in one of the referenced galaxy name; either NGC 4697 or NGC 5697. From one of those, your sky should align at the right zoom.

I did notice that NGC 5697 was either a typo or a red herring. I find it strange that it could be a typo.

The map I'm referring to is NGC 4697. At first it seems fine, but when drawn side by side with other maps all is not well. None of the star alignments match.
A quick background check on Michael Mattiazzo reveals that all the info about the break up of comet Elenin originates with him [sic]

Conclusion.
All of the reports complete with images suggests that the break up of comet Elenin is dis-information. In this area of the sky at least.

If this does prove to be the case, then questions need to be asked about the integrity of people promoting such dis-info.

Hi Guys, inspite of what is being said on the 'Death of Comet Elenin' thread I still believe that it is still live and well. Watch below this video put out by youtuber 'Envylife904', which shows Elenin being zapped by an explosion coming from Jupiter. Elenin turns a quick left (if infact it is Elenin) than continues on it way.

As for the sharp turn, Mercury does it all the time... Comet Elenin's orbit is almost parallel to this solar system's planet orbits. So that when you look from that orbital plane, planets either seem to make a sharp turn or go "retrograde" on their forward motion.

Hey Amzer, Sorry for the late reply.

I watched the video and yes it does explain the various artifacts that we see on the sun videos from time to time. My question is what does the fact that we see an intact Elenin speeding along her merry way, with the other things on your video such as the transparent bubble object coming from the apparent flash originating from Jupiter.

My whole point was to show that Elenin had not disintegrated.

What you see on the Stereo B movie is the coma of Elenin, not the core/nucleus.

Not all the info on Elenin's break up gets back to Michael Mattiazzo. His pictures are corroborated by pictures from others like Rob Kaufman and Ian Musgrave.

As far as I am concerned, I have better trust in amateur astronomers' observations than in disinfo artists who are using comet Elenin as a repeat of the Hale-Bopp scenario/template.

Wow. This completely contradicts most of our own Captain Bill's comments about Elenin. When people speak of absolutes they usually end up eating them or disowning them at some point in time or out of it. Thanks for posting it. You should post a link to this video on the Elenin thread where most others are hanging out. Again, thanks for posting it. Great food for thought.

Incidentally, we should remain open to new ideas even if we cannot always see what's coming from our 3D perspective ~ it doesn't mean other alternatives are not possible or even probable. Humans are very limited due to their old belief systems and barriers put up against new ideas and potentialities. We need to go beyond our own limitations. the pics in the video were taken in nürnberg, germany, on sep 11th and 12th. for those who don't speak german, the description says that nibiru is the small white dot to the left of the sun. the red tinged spot is a lens flare. you see how its position moves depending on the position of the camera but the small white dot always stays in the same position to the left of the sun so it can't be a lens flare. i'm not an expert but to me that looks pretty convincing, no matter if it's nibiru or elenin or another object.

Then it will be proof that anything happening around Sept. 26-30 belongs to False Flag category. For Elenin has truly become an EX-comet and cannot even be used as a decoy anymore:

Further signs that Elenin Broke Up•September 12, 2011 • Michael Mattiazzo took a picture of comet elenin yesterday which we looked at today. The picture shows further proof that comet Elenin has broken up into pieces as a result of the effect of the sun’s gravity and heat on it.
Comet Elenin should almost be a 6th magnitude comet at this stage, meaning that it should be almost visible to the naked eye. Instead however, Elenin is now reported to be a 10th magnitude comet which is now a faint smudge in the sky using telescopes.
Radio astronomers have also reported that the radio signals they bounced off the comet show that elenin has no water which indicates a comet breakup.
We processed the picture taken by Michael Mattiazzo to remove some of the background noise but as you can see there is very little left of comet elenin. The comet is in the lower center of the picture. We expect that there will be nothing to see of the comet after the next week or two.

Comet Elenin Fades Even More

The latest image of Elenin from Michael Mattiazzo (Sept 14th, taken under difficult circumstances0, show a much reduced comet which has faded to magnitude 10 or so. It is doubtful that it will be bright enough to see in the SOHO LASCO cameras. We will probably have to wait until October for powerful Earth-based telescopes to try and find if any of the comet survives.

UPDATE: Comet Al reports that Elenin is still visible in the STEREO HI1A imager, see his animation in Flickr. He estimates the comet is around magnitude 11 or so, pretty much agreeing with Michael's earth-bound estimates.

No doubt, there is something there. Not a lens flare as it does not move with camera.
I was frustrated that he didn't try using his hand or another object to try to cover the Sun orb so he could try to isolate the object.

We all should be able to see that now. Time to get your cameras out, people!

I always get a kick out of this guy's sense of humor. In addition he also brings up something noteworthy in that we should be on the lookout if Obama takes his children with him on his west coast tour end of September, as well as during his visit to Denver on the 27th.
