    Default Nicotine in spot cream?

Those of you watching Big Brother (I can't be the only one) will have noticed that this year it's sponsored by Freederm. An anti-spot gel that (from the ads) is aimed at teenagers.

I happened to glance up when the advert was on and thought I saw 'contains nicotine' in the small print but it flashed up so quick I couldn't be sure. So I checked.

Its active ingredient (4% of total product) is Nicotinamide, a nicotine 'derivative' that is used as an anti-imflamatory. Wtf?

Given that nicotine is the most addictive drug known to man, I'm wondering how many other products it is in.

if teenagers are using anti-aging cream then we have some bigger problems than nicotine addiction.

or is "anti-spot" a term for anti blemish, anti pimple ?

Niccotine is a vascular contstrictor, it would work as a symptom mask for blemishes (though its not a "cure" just a treatment, which is all that seems to be "invented" anymore..)

FYI: tabbaco is acttualy GOOD for you (Moderation as always), the way its treated is whats bad, especialy the pest/herbicides they use... were one to grow their own and dry it on their own, you'll find its a completely different product.

Well one thing I noticed about Celebrity Big Brother is that every single last one of them smoked. Most of the ones in the normal Big Brother also smoke. And it's sponsored by a company using Nicotine derivatives? Hmmmm.

There's been a few small outbreaks of discussion about this on various threads. Chatticus said that TPTB want to ban smoking because it blocks the effects of Chemtrails, which does make sense when you think about it. Why would they suddenly go from a stance of Smoking is awesome, everyone smoke! to Smoking is the devil's work!

Every time you see programs about indigenous tribes they all smoke, too.

    Smoking blocks chemtrails?

Hmm, sounds like a bunch of crap to me.. haha from what I've READ chemtrails consist of aluminum & barium for the most part.. these two metals have very spesific functions when it comes to wave (vibrational) propigation... I have my own theories on this and they don't involve making people sick (well.. not in the way that some people think I guess)

Mostly based off an off handed comment from "chatticus" (he said chemtrails are ment to block something, but wasnt sure what... I think in the original interview) and some stuff from Carmody posted in his alchemy thread (great read btw!) and the DNA upgrade thoery mixed with the high levels of galactic energy that are pushing at our solar system always, and I can only imagine how much stronger they will be in 2012 when we enter into the "window" to the center of the universe...

But its not very well fleshed out...

Tobbacco is a mild anti-depresent and makes people a bit more "amniable", perhaps thats why it was first "pushed" plus look at the nice direct mucus membrain access your giving these companies who keep 'secret' formulas on their tobacco "blends"... lots of great opertunity for the neferious mind..

My theory is, it coats your lungs with crap that you then cough away. Anything in the chemtrails would get caught in the crap, surely?

Speaking of smoking, there's another question I've never seen answered anywhere. Kathy O'Brien, in her first book, said that MK Ultra people are strictly banned from smoking canabis but are allowed all other drugs. She never said why and I've never seen it refered to (or reefered to) anywhere else. When you think about 'awake' people from Jesus to Bill Hicks and many people sat on forums, they're all friends with mary jane. Ofcourse, GM Skunk is all most people can get these days and that stuff is evil.

Tobacco and and holy spirit mother of tobacco is much, much more than some so called drug.
If that nicotine in that product is made by synthesize it is much worse than some drug.
Sad part is, prolly is synthesized same as alot of pharmaceutical products

I decided to contact John Thomas, the author of 'Young Again' after he raved about an 'Indian tobacco' plant which supplies quantities of naturally occurring B vitamins when eaten. He mailed me some seeds this year. I researched eating tobacco online. It is not recommended because the plants contain a natural toxin. However, John has been using his 'Indian tobacco' for many years as a food supplement, and Tennessee horse breeders also use it for their animals.

This year I grew the tobacco, and also gave some plants to friends who live in hotter climates than mine. My tobacco is a bit bitter, but has no apparent ill effects on my body when eaten. This is in contrast to the wallop packed in regular tobacco when eaten... it causes a pretty instant effect that is very unpleasant.

So, it might not be just the chemicals added in manufacturing which causes the ill effects of using tobacco today. The original tobacco used by the Native Americans may have been a different cultivar.

Is this off topic perhaps... after all the thread is about skin application, not about eating it. If it is then I apologize....

I'm not sure where you got that info.

Nicotinamide, also known as niacinamide and nicotinic acid amide, is the amide of nicotinic acid (vitamin B3 / niacin). Nicotinamide is a water-soluble vitamin and is part of the vitamin B group. Nicotinic acid, also known as niacin, is converted to nicotinamide in vivo, and, though the two are identical in their vitamin functions.

    Dear Anno,
Read TRICK AND TREAT by Barry Groves, or go to his web site SECOND OPINION. He talks about 'sun blockers' that produce cancer!
His main theme is that the food industry trick us into eating death, and the pharmaceuticals finish us off!!!!
It is all orchestrated. The cholesterol level is set too low, we need natural fats, and less carbohydrates.

Because of so called healthy diets, few die of old age any more. It's an industrial killing machine....
After forty years of being a veggy, now we eat butter, and pork belly! And my belly has gone, the body now knows it is eating food, so we do not eat so much.

    Tony

Can anyone confirm that external application of nicotine-derived substances is harmful or addictive?

A friend of mine recently pointed me towards a very interesting documentary that tells the untold and controversial story of the growth of the mass-consumer society "The Century of the Self". In this they give the reason how it was pushed towards the female populous in the US by Edward Bernays. I am not suggesting that you are wrong, just how they targeted ladies back in the day.

Quote In the 1920s, working for the American Tobacco Company, Edward Bernays sent a group of young models to march in the New York City parade. He then told the press that a group of women's rights marchers would light "Torches of Freedom". On his signal, the models lit Lucky Strike cigarettes in front of the eager photographers. The New York Times (1 April 1929) printed: "Group of Girls Puff at Cigarettes as a Gesture of 'Freedom'". This helped to break the taboo against women smoking in public. During this decade he also handled publicity for the NAACP.

If you have not seen this before, it is definately worth a gander.

....damn, I just got a mad tone in my right ear when finishing this off, wish I knew what it meant...but thats for another thread.

well your lungs are a constant sea of mucus moving out of them, smoking tends to "paralyze" (temp. though) the small hairs that move the mucus out of your lungs, thus you get the "coughing" it does add a bit of material in there as well, but those "black lung" pictures are not super common & are a bit of "fear porn".

as for cannabis, I think that's pretty easy, THC provides amazing abilities with neurological connections, it's almost like it takes "less power" for neurons to fire, and weak connections are easily re woken and used. For this reason it would be easy to guess that MK ultra "subjects" are similar to the methods Satanists use, heavy mental blocking to hide conditioning or abuse, cannabis would allow for these blocks to be broken down, probably at random which would not be ideal given the nature of the conditioning.

I think cannabis is purposefully demonized due to this, it allows cognitive function that is less than predictable, which does not fit with "establishment" conditioning.

If I wasn't drug tested I'd be a frequent user... the plant is nothing short of amazing for many reasons.

I cant speak for MK Ultra's reasoning but I do know that being under its influence is extremely dangerous when you are working with "certain energies," and exposing your soul when diminished through suppresive drugs.
