    "Diving for the epicenter

If anything stands out things El Hierro is the quality of its seabed. The port of La Restinga, south of the island is the hub of sporting activity each year brings thousands of tourists and supporting an industry that has become a staple for the El Hierro. But the fact that the epicenter of most of the earthquakes that have occurred in recent days is the so-called Sea of calms and deemed that the volcanic eruption likely to develop in this protected area, has done much damage to those living in the sport.

One is Iñaki Cayon, owner of the dive center El Hierro, the oldest of the island, and which has seen in recent days has received "16 cancellations from people who are going to go diving, but seeing the TV news have been scared and decided to stay home. I think it has generated a disproportionate public alarm and creating a mess that does not fit with what is really happening ", he snapped as he walked with Iñaki your boat into the sea of calmness, diving area for excellence in the island of El iron. "Let's go to the epicenter," exclaimed one of eight divers arrived from Barcelona, Zaragoza and the Basque Country, which challenged the initial fear get in the water right in the place where earthquakes have been more persistent. But after nearly an hour of immersion, these athletes left the water with a smile from ear to ear to have enjoyed "a luxury funds and over with the gift of feeling the occasional undersea quake," explained Iñaki Cayon."

A period of adjustment, just as the doctor ordered.

However, that does bring up the problem of a possible Tsunami. I wasn't thinking about that. In the best case scenerio, a plain old volcanic erruption would be called for. A crack in the earth's surface where the lava could escape under the sea.
