Here and Now...What's Happening?

Calz asked earlier on if we will take all the great music with us when the shift hits the fan.

Yeah we do. Not only that, but we remember it all. We are the artist in the throes of creation. We are there in the club where the song was first played, there with our woman, or there with our man. We were working for the recording company when the song was released. We are there in our home listening to the radio when it first played on the air. We were there when it was top forty and when it was played with the golden oldies.

Not just the songs, but every experience is ours that emanates from this planet where we're born, first in flesh, now in spirit. Every you is a me. Every day is today. It's all here. It's all now. It's a painful process, this birth, and it's bright out there, it's a shock. But it's Love that's there to meet us, and healed we will be of the collective grief, of all the trauma we cause and endure. It's not just a future place, it's here and now just the same. It's like this life is a rock, it covers this particular spot, it seems inert but there is life. From another view, every atom inside is a swirling point of energy that is also an experience of life and it all goes together, it all flows one to another. The matrices of energy can be taken together, viewed as a whole, or taken separately, and you see the point in time where the baby was born, or the relationship ended, or the train was taken, or the car crashed, where the grandchild graduated, where one died old and alone or in the war or whatever myriad experiences can exist.

the point is what appears constant isn't really and what seems like life also has a structure of some kind. Time being navigable as space and space being constant as time. Each equally being true and false.

This is my vantage in this here and now, appreciating the expansiveness of it all.

I would try hanging myself in similar fashion but post-surgery hard to say what body parts may fall off???

Waking up from a refreshing afternoon nap. The sun has just set and the tree frogs are chorusing.
Apart from that all is quiet. The ocean must be calm, too, as I can't hear any surf breaking.
Once in a while I hear a car passing at the end of the gap.
I still have sone breadfruit left over. Maybe with a little garlic, onion and ginger. A teaspoon of Barbados pepper sauce.
There is a Heineken, too. Haven't had an alcoholic drink in a week.
So happy I am living in a village, with highly enlightened, gifted and funny neighbors.
And none afraid to do some hard work, or to get their hands dirty.
This village will change everything.

It truly sounds like a paradise Ulli. My heart is full for you to be having such a sweet existence there.

With the weather turning colder in the north I trust you will treat the villiage to a few digital images of the lush scenary from time to time. Still beautiful fall changing leaves colors and a crisp but comfortable temperature ... but I feel old man winter approaching.

OMG!! Modwiz, those are BEAUTY-full! And she uses the same color combinations I used to use, subtle and soft colors with some bright accents. The tricks with washing ANY wools is to only use COLD water. Even lukewarm water can shrink the woollies...

Here is the house.
I have the downstairs part.
The garden is huge and overrun by monkeys.
Every morning hundreds of egrets settle on the roof,
before they fly back to find cattle in the center of the island.
They pick ticks off of the cows and eat them.

Monkeys don't think of the humans. They think of the pawpaws and mangos they want to steal.
I have been asked to bring inflatable owls with large eyes, to use as scarecrows, but was unable to find any.

Yes... there was a disturbance in the "force". I awoke clear around 5:00AM... this morning... so awake...I turned on the TV to be greeted immediately with the fresh scenes of distruction from the 7.? quake in Turkey. I do not know Turkey but my heart went out.
