Very strange!!! weirder by the day...

"Millions of Seashells appearing every day on Clifton beach, Karachi, Pakistan. Just Last year in March 2009 " Dolphins Beaching " happened here on Pakistani Beaches.
What is surprising is that not a single private TV channel has covered this huge Event, No discussion forums on this Topic. Not to mention there are large numbers of Earthquakes happening all around the world in the year 2010.
My thought is that all these Events are Signs of Great fluctuations in Earth's Magnetic Field...
This magnetic field fluctuation is happening due to the loss of Lubricant of Oil and Gas inside Earth's Crust.
Oil and Gas acts as Lubricant for Earth's Crust Movement. Now that we have taken out so much Oil and Gas. Earth's Layers have lost this lubricant and as a result we will observe much bigger more devastating Mega Earthquakes... just like Grand Canyon(Mega Earthquakes created Grand Canyons)
Electric Cars and Maglev Electric Turbines and Maglev Train, are the way of the future... if we want to save ourselves and humanity and future generations"

Hi Viking, I really don't want to spread fear, but sometimes when you are connecting the dots, things just pop up at you.
Your video above brought to mind a Zeta report I read a few days ago (see below). Perhaps the sea shells are a harbinger or precursor of India's and Pakistan's ultimate fate, as per the Zetas, during the purported 'pole shift'.

    http://www.zetatalk.com/ning/03jy2010.htm

Quote Question: Regarding India: there are mountain ranges on western India that average 400 meters to 1000 meters high. Even Bangalore is at an altitude of over 500 meters. Is all of India going to be under water due to the plate movement or a combination of the plate movement (subduction) and the overall rise in the water level? I'm very concerned about many people in India and if they can get closer to the foothills of Tibet/Nepal but even in that scenario, that is going to be the new pole so will be an arctic circle. What is the best to do for those there?
ZetaTalk Advice 7/3/2010: More than the country of India and Bangladesh and Bhutan will be pushed under the Himalayas. Check the topographic map and see where the wrinkles are. This is where land has been rumpled as something was pushed under it. Note that along the border with Burma and Tibet and Nepal, that the lands of India are lowlands, where the land has been pushed down in the recent past. Why would the highlands of India be just in the center of the country, and not border the high Himalayas? This is what will become of India and all on that plate that is being pushed down and under. Those in India are advised not to seek high ground within Indian's interior, but to head to the Himalayas, to Tibet and Nepal and China or the high mountains that are officially Indian territory - Srinagar. Pakistan will also be high ground but the area will rupture to become a new seaway, so this is unstable territory and the lowlands will be flooded during the hour of the shift.
    Blessings,
    Yiola

www.volcanolive.com is reporting quite a bit of volcano activity in the past few days:

    Sunday 18th July 2010
    Kilauea volcano, Hawaii
Eruptions continue at the summit and east rift zone at Kilauea volcano, Hawaii. A lava pond is active in Halamaumau crater at the summit. Lava continues to erupt from the east rift zone and flow through tubes towards the coast. The lava flow has advanced to the intersection of Highways 130 and 137 at Kaimu. On 16th July the sulphur dioxide emission rate from the summit remained elevated at 700 tonnes/day.

    Sunday 18th July 2010
    Yasur volcano, Vanuatu
Activity remains high at Yasur volcano, Vanuatu. Since the beginning of 2010 there have been high levels of activity with lava bombs being ejected around the crater rim. The western side of Tanna Island has received ashfall.

    Saturday 17th July 2010
    Pacaya volcano, Guatemala
Activity at the summit of Pacaya volcano has been increasing, after a month of quiet. Seismometers recorded 97 explosions in the 24 hours to 16th July. Most ejected material is falling inside the crater. There are some pyroclastic flows down the south flank of the volcano. There is a small amount of ash emission from the crater. Pacaya volcano had a large summit eruption, and flank lava flow in May and June 2010.

    Saturday 17th July 2010
    Klyuchevskoy volcano, Russia
Explosive and effusive eruptions continue at Klyuchevskoy volcano in Russia. On July 9, 12, 14-15 strombolian eruptions occurred, and a plume reached an altitude of 22,000 ft. On 14th July an eruption plume extended 45 km NW of the volcano. Seismicity remained high during the past week.

    ¤=[Post Update]=¤

That is a lot of volcano activity all around the world(very spread out) in a short amount of time.

    Seashells!! Now penguins!!

The Gulf stream all cockeyed...perhaps the ocean currents and temperatures are cockeyed as well... *shrugs*

SAO PAULO (AFP) – Hundreds of dead penguins and other sea animals have washed up on Sao Paulo state's shores and scientists are investigating the causes, environment officials told Folha Online news agency.

The Institute of Environment and Natural Resources said 530 penguins, numerous other sea birds, five dolphins and three giant sea turtles have been found in the coastal towns of Peruibe, Praia Grande and Itanhaem, with more likely on other nearby beaches.

Sao Paulo University biologists and a wildlife research center are looking into the possible reasons for the animal deaths, the institute said.

Praia Grande authorities have ruled out pollution, saying preliminary investigations point to starvation as the cause.

The most likely scenario for the penguin deaths is exhaustion and hunger during their long migration from the waters off Argentina's southern Patagonia region, said Andrea Maranho, a veterinarian for the Sea Animal Rehabilitation Center in Praia Grande.

    Hello Viking,
Thank you for this wonderful thread. Lots of interesting and useful information here. Sad to hear of the
dead animals washing up on shore. Especially the giant sea turtles, they live for many, many years. This
    is unsettling.

Severe flooding and rising levels to China's largest river, the Yangtze, is causing hundreds of residents in Hubei province to be evacuated Link to this video

China's Three Gorges dam faces its biggest test this week as rain storms threaten to swell upstream water levels beyond those that preceded the Yangtze's last devastating flood in 1998.

Flood control is one of the major objectives of the 16m tonne concrete barrier, which was pushed through by the government despite concerns about the environmental and social impact.

Torrential downpours, which have claimed at least 146 lives since the start of the month, have created the most serious challenge since the world's biggest hydropower plant was completed two years ago.

"The levels of this flooding will be higher than the historic floods of 1954 and 1998," Wei Shanzhong, the head of the flood control and drought administration office for the Yangtze river, told China Central TV.

According to the state media, the rain this week will increase the peak flow in the reservoir to around 70,000 cubic metres per second, considerably higher than the 50,000 figure recorded in 1998, when floods killed more than 4,000 people while the dam was still under construction.

To ease the strain downstream, the dam will close its navigation locks during the peak flow period, diverting the pressure to the giant upstream reservoir.

In preparation for the deluge this week, hydroengineers have been sluicing water out of the reservoir at an accelerated rate to make space for the expected downpour.

They believe there is little risk that this reservoir will be stretched beyond its capacity because the peak flow is expected to taper off more rapidly than in 1998.

But if the rains exceed forecasts, the dam – and its supporters – will come under unprecedented pressure.

Earlier this year, site engineers acknowledged that landslides and water pollution in the reservoir were more severe than anticipated, prompting calls for drastic remedial efforts.

They recommended the relocation of a further 300,000 people - in addition to the 1.2 million who have already been forced to leave their homes - to create an "eco-buffer" belt in the worst affected areas.

China is buffeted by rainstorms and typhoons every summer. Last month, southern provinces were lashed by unusually fierce floods that killed more than 200 people and forced the relocation of 2.4 million others, causing economic losses estimated at 29.6bn yuan (£2.9bn).

Earlier this week, a mudslide in the mountainous northern province of Shaanxi swallowed a village, leaving 20 missing and feared dead.

Oil Spill in China - Country's worst ever

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/environmen...aster-wildlife

Chinese officials have warned of a severe threat to wildlife from one of the country's worst reported oil spills as an army of volunteers was dispatched to beaches to try to head off the black tides.

At least one man has drowned in crude during the clean-up operation, which has expanded as the area of the slick has doubled in size despite earlier government assurances that it was being contained and posed no risk to ecologically sensitive areas.

Five days after a pipeline explosion at the north-east port of Dalian, oil had reportedly spread over an area of 430 square kilometres, prompting a dispersal mission along the coast.

Hundreds of local volunteers are spreading absorbent matting along the Yellow Sea shoreline in an attempt to stop the slick from damaging beaches.

Out at sea, authorities have started to use oil-consuming bacteria to try to disperse the slick, along with chemical agents and lengthy floating barrages.

Even though maritime officials have mobilised 800 fishing boats to assist the 40 specialist vessels in the operation, the winds and tides are spreading the slick wider and thinner.

The difficult conditions have proved fatal for at least one man. A 25-year-old firefighter, Zhang Liang, drowned on Tuesday when a wave threw him from a vessel, according to the state news agency Xinhua.

In some areas, volunteers equipped only with rubber gloves, rubber boots and rudimentary tools have struggled to cope with the waves washing up on the beaches.

"I've been to a few bays today and discovered they were almost entirely covered with dark oil," Zhong Yu of the environmental group Greenpeace China, told the Associated Press. "The oil is half-solid and half-liquid and is as sticky as asphalt."

Fishing in the waters around Dalian has been banned until the end of August.

"The oil spill will pose a severe threat to marine animals and water quality, and sea birds," Huang Yong, deputy bureau chief for the city's Maritime Safety Administration, told a regional TV station.

The authorities say the leak was staunched within 24 hours of last Friday's accident, but they have yet to reveal how much oil was discharged before then. The state-run China Central television channel estimates the spill at 1,500 tons, less than 0.5% of the amount released into the ocean by the BP spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

Local officials have been upbeat about the prospects of a quick clean-up and a resumption of normal services at the port, which has had to redirect 420 vessels from the area of the slick.

"Our priority is to collect the spilled oil within five days to reduce the possibility of contaminating international waters," Dalian's vice mayor, Dai Yulin, told reporters earlier this week. Other officials expect the operation to last twice as long and even then it is far from clear that the ecological damage will end.

Hey thanks Moemers ...Bill is right this is happening in more countries than we realize!!

    *****

In Bolivia there were freezing temperatures. EFE

    July 21, 2010.

The cold wave that extends through the Southern Cone and the tropical wave that
spans several countries in Central America, the Caribbean and northern South
America, has left at least 225 people dead and thousands of people affected in
    Latin America.

Bogotá. EFE .- The bad weather on the continent have forced many governments to declare emergency alerts
and to take measures such as suspension of classes in Bolivia, Paraguay and
Argentina as well as evacuation of the victims to shelters or temporary
    shelters.

The highest number of fatalities by the cold wave in the Southern Cone occurred in Bolivia, where 25
people died, mostly homeless who died of hypothermia in recent weeks in four of
the nine regions and two victims poisoned by inhaling carbon monoxide in the
    region of Tarija (south).

The government of Evo Morales has warned that low temperatures will also dwindle agricultural
    production.

In Paraguay its has been reported in the last week, because of the cold, a total of twelve people killed
and more than a hundred victims in shelters, mostly homeless, in addition to
the deaths of two thousand head of cattle.

According to the Bureau of Meteorology, this Wednesday, the cold front will be maintained, with
temperatures below zero in some regions of the country and showers. No
temperatures above 17 degrees will be recorded during this week.

In Argentina, the number of deaths from hypothermia reached eleven, after registering last Sunday the
death of a baby and an old man in the city of La Rioja (northwest).

Since the beginning of winter, there were other 33 deaths by carbon monoxide poisoning, by use of improper
    heating devices.

In Brazil, in the last week nine died as a result of the low temperatures nine people, mostly beggars
sleeping on the street, and at least 2900 head of cattle died from hypothermia,
according to reports from regional governments.

However, the temperatures rose again in the last two days, so that the National Institute of Meteorology
warnings eliminated cool temperature alerts for the southern states of Parana,
Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul

The lowest temperature in the country was 7.8 degrees below zero, recorded last Wednesday in the town of
Urupema (state of Santa Catarina, on the border with Argentina).

In Uruguay, with the death of a homeless person as a result of hypothermia in the department of Salto
(north), there are three people dead since the onset of the cold spell early
    last week.

Although temperatures went down in recent days, low temperatures continue to affect the country, where the
National Weather Bureau forecasted minimum temperatures between -1 and 2
degrees and maximum between 12 and 15.

In Chile, the cold spell has caused two deaths in Santiago, where below zero temperatures have been
recorded in seven days of the month of July, something that had not happened
    since 1993.

Temperatures in the Chilean capital dropped to minus 2 degrees centigrades in the last week, while
the south of the country suffers a critical situation, with hundreds of
villagers cut off by snow and thousands of cattle in danger.

According to the Meteorological Office of Chile, low temperatures may last until August.

Also in recent weeks in Peru, 104 people died of pneumonia and respiratory ailments caused by cold and
    poor medical care.

In Peru, the cold has affected mainly Amazonian departments of Loreto, San Martin and Ucayali, and
the Andean regions such as Arequipa, Huancavelica and Cuzco.

In Colombia, at least 59 people have died and 270,000 have been affected by the season of heavy rains
that began last March and has affected more than 260 municipalities in 27 of
the 32 departments, according to information from the Colombian Red Cross .

In Costa Rica, the rains recorded in the last few hours left 170 affected were evacuated to safe areas
and shelters by the Costa Rican Red Cross, as well as major damage to homes and
two major highways, according to the Ministry of Transport.

In Honduras, the Permanent Contingency Commission (COPECO) declared the preventive green alert for the
next two days, due to the rains that hit the east, south and center of the country
and left one person injured, and damage to homes.

In the Dominican Republic, 460 people were forced to evacuate their houses, which were affected by a storm
sweeping the country for several days and kept on alert 20 of the 32 provinces.

In Haiti, authorities raised the alert from yellow to orange caused by the risk of heavy rains due to
tropical wave passing through the Caribbean.

While in Puerto Rico, the heavy rains that fall since the last weekend have left homes damaged, land
    slides across dozens of roads.

    AP-AFP | LIMA, SANTIAGO

Lima endured 8.8 degrees Celsius yesterday in several districts of the east of the
city, the lowest temperature of the last 46 years, reported the National
    Meteorology and Hydrology (NMHSs).

In 1964 there was a similar decline that reached 10.2 degrees but in El Callao.
According to meteorologist Raquel Loayza, the unusual temperature was
influenced by the presence of the weather phenomenon La Nina, an oscillation of
the streams of the Pacific Ocean that is characterized by a drop of several
    degrees in sea temperature.

Heads up, people! I found this, while on the Pravda site: http://english.pravda.ru/russia/econ.../114223-heat-0

Quote Anomalous Heat Promises Year of Hunger to Russia

Russia has been suffering from anomalous heat for three weeks already. Unbearable hot weather undermines people's health and causes considerable economic damage. First and foremost, the heat affects the agricultural industry. The growth of prices on crops leads to higher prices on animal fodder and lower profitability in the cattle breeding industry. As a result, consumers will have to compensate all the losses, which the heat has caused so far. Prices on food and dairy products in Russia are expected to grow.

Daytime temperatures in Central Russia currently hit 33-35 degrees above zero. They are expected to climb even higher - to 36-38 degrees by the end of this week. Many regions of the country have already introduced state of emergency.

However, as it usually happens, some grieve while others celebrate. The income of the companies producing water, soft drinks and beer have been growing steadily. The makers of air conditioners, fans and ice cream are very happy about the hot weather too.

Such a weather phenomenon brings more bad than good, though. The consumption of electric power grows under such conditions. Restaurants suffer losses too, because people eat less meat and other heavy dishes in hot weather.

The lack of water is also a serious problem. The Akhtuba River, the major source of drinking water in the Astrakhan region of Russia, is running dry. In Austria, for example, the lack of water has led to ridiculous situations. Administrations of swimming pools asked visitors not to swallow water during swimming. People were also asked not to wear nylon swimwear because nylon shorts absorb a lot of water.

The heatwave brings peat and forest fires. Thirteen hectares of forest burnt in Russia's Nizhni Novgorod region. Fires caused the damage of over 36 million rubles, and the regional authorities were forced to ban the visiting of forests.

Hot sun kills crops in Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Western Europe. Agricultural ministries of these countries had to revise their forecasts for harvests in 2010. Official spokespeople for the Russian Ministry for Agriculture forecast the gathering of 55 million tons of wheat, which is 2 million tons less than was previously expected. The heat has already destroyed over 5 million hectares of farm crops in the Russian Federation.

Ukraine expects the losses of three million tons of crops. In Western Europe, France is expected to suffer the biggest losses because of hot summer.

It is worthy of note that agricultural producers all over the world suffer tens of billions of dollars of losses every year because of droughts. The summer of 2010 will obviously be more painful. Consumers will have to face another price growth on most popular products such as bread, sugar, butter and meat. The heat may also trigger the growth of the inflation rate.

US farmers suffer too, albeit from a different disaster. The farmers across the Atlantic Ocean suffer from too much rain. The rains complicate the gathering of winter wheat and corn.

The prices on agricultural groups have grown considerably on world exchanges during the recent two weeks. Futures quotations on wheat and corn have gained 18 and 15 percent respectively at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange during the last 8 trade sessions

Just wanted to give a quick update from my neck of the woods...
And the bad news is the woods seem to by suffering what is called a "die back". I recently returned from a trip across Washington state and into North/Central Idaho. We drove across the northern route to get there (up by the BC Canadian border) and took the southern route home.

It has been 4 years since I have driven along this route and the amount of dead or dying trees was astonishing. There were entire hillsides dead. This was not from forest fires, logging, construction or any other obvious cause. Many species were affected. It was someone patchy but obvious once I started looking.

When we returned home, I was amazed to see that many trees here are also sick, dying or dead. I am sure this didn't happen during my short vacation but with my newly opened eyes I am now seeing them. Not sure what is happening or why. From my back yard I can see eleven trees that are dying/dead. I have seen dozens on my twelve mile drive to work. We are not experiencing a drought or heat wave. There is a mix of old growth, second growth and younger trees that are dying.

The types of trees afffected, that I can identify so far are:
    Western Hemlock (native)
    Western Red Cedar (native)
    Douglas Fir (native)
    Garry Oak (native)
    Madronne/Madronna (native)
    Blue Spruce (non-native)
    Maple (both)
    Hawthorn (non-native)
    Birch (non-native)
    Holly (non-native)
    Dogwood (both)
Apple, Cherry & Plum (both fruit & ornamental)

I was able to find one article (posted below) from 2009 that addressed the "die-back". Has anyone else - anywhere - noticed a tree "die-back"? I do not want to give the impression that all the trees are dying - there are plenty left. However, something seems to be upsetting the natural balance.

Intense Snow Storm - RSOE Snow Storm SS-20100728-27174-ARG Argentina Province of Chubut Chubut-wide

Some 600 residents of the southern Argentine province of Chubut have been cut off from the outside world due to a snowstorm, local media reported Tuesday. Several pieces of road-clearing equipment are being used to try and open the ranch roads in the area, where sheep and cattle have also been isolated and there are substantial difficulties in getting them fed due to the storm, which left up to 1.5 meters (4.9 feet) of snow on the ground completely burying the available grass. “The intense winds after the snowstorm complicated the situation because they covered the roads again that had already been cleared with the machines,” highways chief Patricio Musande told Argentine television when asked about the situation in Chubut, which is some 1,800 kilometers (about 1,120 miles) from Buenos Aires. Pedro Miguel Schmalz, manager of the Valle Huemules ranch in Lago Blanco, told capital daily La Nacion that he has lived there for 38 years and has never seen “such an intense storm, despite the fact that the winters are very hard.” “There was a combination of factors: the heavy snows, freezes and winds that created very high walls of snow. People are isolated,” said Digna Hernando de Blanco, the head of the Rural Society in the coastal city of Comodoro Rivadavia. She calculated that about 600 local residents had been isolated in towns in the area, most of whom are involved in the production of wool. “We still cannot quantify the (economic) losses, but they will be significant. We’re talking about the most productive province in the country in terms of wool,” said Hernando de Blanco. Meanwhile, personnel from the highway department and emergency services continued their work with a helicopter and road-clearing machinery to attempt to establish a land link with the isolated communities.

    Relax
These events were happening long before there were humans on the planet and the toxic happenings have been going on since we discovered chemicals and began mining and drilling for oil.
Because there is now the Internet we are instantly aware of these throughout the world and thats good.
The media also tends to look for similar events so if you get one then they look for similar.
For example there was a cluster of young men committing suicide in UK recently, it actually fell within the normal monthly average of suicides just it all happened in one place so it stood out.
Having said that there are peaks in all statistics and we seem to be hitting one at the moment with recent reported events.
Why worry it is a waste of time. If something can be done the thats different, do what you can do.
By the way 5th element is one of my favorite films.
The 5th element being love and that saved the world in the film.
