Remember, as you prepare food, to keep your thoughts as loving as you can, because this becomes part of the food as you work with it.
    You mean like this??

One of my fav foodie films,
    like water for chocolate.
Wow, now Marianne can never cook another meal without thinking of Tita and Pedro and their love and their new way of communicatig.
Nor can she ever tell the Village about her dishes without the Villagers thinking the same.
Oh my. Guess I need to see the rest of that film.
    Thanks Astrid and Ulli.

Babette's Feast...I saw that when it just came out and won best foreign picture Academy Award. But Babette's food preparation was more about her amazing skills.

Definitely, this quote from Dolores Cannon made me smile.

“Apparently we, as conscious human beings, are the least informed participants in the whole earthly scenario”

(Dolores Cannon. Conversations with a Spirit. Between Death and Life. Page 227)

Like Water for Chocolate it's a fantastic movie.

Finally, i find the Steven Spielberg's CAMEO in Brian De Palma's Phantom of Paradise. From 8'07 to 8'10. The man dancing with the stick.
Also, Peter Jackson was inspired by this cameo to "draw" Gandalf for his film. His other inspiration was Modwiz, of course.

Lol. I'd be inclined to say it was Virgo thing.

Virgo mum, Capricorn Dad. My mother was clearly a sociopath and my father either spoiled her or hid from her. Either way it didn't work.

My father though was the ultimate free spirit, he'd walk out the door and not return for four days and not think there was anything unusual about it. Sometimes he took me with him, other times not. He willingly chose to be a rail bum and traveled all over the world by rail or ship. He was in Airforce, Navy, and Coast Gaurd and probably would signed up for the Marines and Army too if he'd not met my mother. My mother was the worst attributes of Virgo condensed and amplified there was not a single enduring Virgo quality to her, and it wasn't until after they had both died I was able to figure out why those two people who had ABSOLUTELY no business being together got married.

You figured right: you brought them together BEFORE you were born, so that you might have the existence and conditions you needed to become you.

Interesting themes, though. . It's not enough to understand spirit; it has to be lived or expressed through and reflecting in our physical lives. Understanding is not the same as expressing one's life force.

People don't have to become spritual we are all born that (save for a few anomalies) the same way we are born physical .

Rejection is an interesting theme since it is a model condition that many many people carry along with abandonment. To allow one's spiritual expression to circumvent the physical , one risks rejection.

By that time you don't care though....lol.

A lot of people who 'practice' spiritality feel dis-invalidated because they are not being understood, or feel rejected. Practicing isn't the same as knowing though. Where we got this idea we had to practice is where we got into the great clusterf**k concerning our inner self. If one stops doing and one's higher intellgience starts re-arranging things in yoru physical life-health, finances, career , living conditions then ...no one has teach anything, practice anything, or risk being invalidated.

    Good morning, Villagers
Today ... I will try really hard to open up my little bottle of infinite compassion and hope and love and joy... the one I saved back from just a couple of days ago ... seems like another lifetime ago. I want so desperately to live in that state, enveloped with the light of the universe ... just be in that. This old 3d world is tiresome, interrupting my utopian serenity lol. My gratitude is offered to anyone who has blessed my family with a kind thought or a loving wish, much love to you all on this new day.

What I find helpful when I'm "not there' is not waiting for it to be visited upon me, but look at what I'm feeling in the present, to see what is blocking that expression.

I don't do anything with those feelings I just sit there with them till they dissipate--a few minutes. For those who don't do this often and have a lot bottled up it may longer, and one has to do it periodically. A lot of old stuff is coming to the surface. We have been taught to avoid it, resist it or suck it up. Something happens though that higher expression makes the dense crap come to the surface. The same way a drinker will drink, and all these emotions come up. Anger or grief. You know the sorts, we say they can't handle their booze. Actually the spritual essence of whatever they were drinking lifts that crap but...we don't do anything with it in the inebreation. Druids used to use fermented beers and herbs to lift this crap but sat with the person and encouraged them to blow these feelings. I'm not suggesting you reach fo rthe bottle just go into the present and see what your feeling. Adn sit with it till is disipates, don't push at it or resist it or judge it as been less than being in higher expression. We judge the 3d so much it just becomes more real for us. We judge ourselves and our feelings. All this drama we've seen lately is just a unproductive way of pushing ourselves away from our feelings. Like we have to act them out. Acting our our way away from them..when just have to sit with them for a while till they get bored (lol) and leave on their own.

La Grande Bouffe...haha...I saw it several times..it was a favorite of mine long ago.
Now I think it is a bit silly.
Eating oneself to death...as a form of pleasurable suicide.
In a way it was really prophetic, because that is what lots of people seem to be doing.

Oh, and of course, Contact. Even though I'm angry at Carl Sagan for what he said about astrology...but I guess "they" forced him to do that, too.
I saw Contact right after I had my fist UFO sightings in the nineties. and anything that shed light on that subject was welcome.
So, yes, Contact was a great bandaid type of movie at the time.

Several years back a 'free energy' device showed up in my automatic writing. Why the least technological person on earth is given this information is beyond me . Technological people want nothing to do with me becaue of my lack of technological savvy ...but yet I am given it away. Much to my surpise when I watched Contact that gimboling gizmo they constructed in the movie was exactly, to a T, the same energy device I was given in my writing--just on a much larger scale. I hope someone sees that thing for what its since I haven't a clue ....(Carmody?) But I am given to know that a few of things, created on much smaller scale, can power a medium house indefinently and the 'non-existent' concept of perpetual motion device is employed in. And that's about as far as I can with the thing without shorting out my right brain.

There's something definently about that movie.

Contact has popped up on Netflix again, I should watch it today while mending horseblankets....

    Wow, interesting, Belle.

I cannot go for a walk without shutting down a few streetlights, have done so all my life. Everyone I know knows it's so. They have all experienced it. And electronics do not work predictably around me either. For instance, I have to push my buttons on my cell twice, most often, because it does not respond to my first touch. That's why I use an analogue meter at work - digital meters do not work reliably for me.

What do you think the not remembering your dream might mean? Some nefarious occurance or something?

Nice to know I'm not alone, Ernie. Can't even wear a watch...either the old wind-up or digital.

I mentioned not remembering my dreams because that is unusual for me. Didn't know if it had any significance to everything else that happened or not.

Between the hawks and the electricity thing, odd occurrences seem to be happening all around me. I normally don't mention these things...tend to allow what is to simply be what is...but lately it seems to be ramping up. Been having the kundalini shivers and that "little spinning/purring motor" near my heart chakra that follows the shivers a lot as well, so have been grounding myself as much as possible.

There are so many people here that know much more than I...perhaps greater minds than mine understand what's going on.

    9eagle, wise words, and true.
Quote I'm not suggesting you reach fo rthe bottle just go into the present and see what your feeling. Adn sit with it till is disipates, don't push at it or resist it or judge it as been less than being in higher expression.
But...it's more complicated than that when it's my kids. They have their own paths, but as a parent I am responsible for using any situation that comes up as a teaching opportunity for them and for me it offers an opportunity to show compassion. I allow myself to feel the emotions and sit with them, apparently I only do this after everyone is taken care of...but rest assured I do this. The emotions that become apparent in my self are not as disturbing any more. When I analyze this, it becomes clear to me that what is disturbing for my self is the amount of sadness caused by events ... involving my own children or family primarily, but when I do not stay insulated from the world that includes anyone I allow in. The other thing that is disconcerting is that...I don't know if this will make sense but I can describe what it feels like...I am mosying along, whistling my tune, vibrating at some certain frequency (unknown specifically), and just kind of being and becoming, minding my own business, not causing problems for anyone, trying to help in any way I can in all situations, learning all kinds of new things, and allowing my light to shine. Along comes an external stimuli and it aggravates me that I'm being pulled to a different frequency (unknown, but lower) to handle some 3d ****. And what I feel is ..."grrrr"... then I feel sadness for what is happening and also great compassion for those involved, but also helplessness because I realize I can't (nor should I) jump in and just "fix" things for anyone. I have a hunch that my frustration posts are closely related to the "grrr factor."

What I'm trying to say, I guess...although I do ramble on, so I'm just as likely to confuse myself as anyone reading this...is that I'm the consummate nurturer. I love that about me. It brings uncomfortable emotions, and those I seem to get through. The tightrope I walk as a nurturer involves a very intricate dance of balance between... allowing mistakes while setting limits-according to each path, helping others and remembering to allow the flow through myself rather than becoming depleted, teaching while not creating dependence, on and on the dance goes.

There's where I am this morning in the here and now. Well, all that...and I might throw in very tired. Thanks for throwing that into the mix, 9eagle, everything is shared for a reason.

    Much Love,

Thank you for your suggestions about food. I think I am working through some of my thoughts & habits around food -rearranging myself and I can feel a lot of fear energy releasing -so this is very good; sometimes have these little freakout moments with it. appreciate you guys.

Like Water For Chocolate -beautiful movie watched 4 times couple of times without the subtitles. Life is love.

Got up this morning enjoyed a cup of coffee as the sun rose -thinking about the day..... go turn the computer on; makes some breakfast, take care of bills, make some phone calls....nothing unusual. Went inside to turn the computer on and it was already on......

    Love

    Nora

Good to see you Dan -happy new year

...OK, the power did not ripple or cut out when I said that. Power lines cross through all areas, so when you produce a temporal ripple/shift in your immediate vicinity, usually you get a power outage or ripple. You get a literal continuity issue occurring.

for example, when we had the whole Charles thing going on, those of us who were asked to vet it, had a private area to chat and speak. well, in that area, I spoke of my er, origins-clearly and plainly. The moment I hit the key to send that, the ripple or shift was big enough that the power to my house tried to go out three times in rapid sequence.
Funny you mentioned the power thing.

I take my granddaughter and a friend of hers to school every morning...they have to walk in the dark and cold (this morning the temp was 4 degrees F), so I prefer to drive them and spend at least a few extra minutes with my granddaughter. This morning my alarm did not go off. Woke up, checked the alarm clock and it read 8:34pm...in actuality it was 6:34am and I should have been at her home at that time. Figured we had a power hit, but my clock was the only one in the house that was affected.

Got home, put the coffee on to brew...the coffee maker kept shutting off and on. Turned on the computer...it would go black screen and shut off. Did I mention that the street lights would go out as I drove past them this morning?

I almost always remember my dreams...but not last night. Went to sleep, woke up, no dreams. Connection?

Am I making something out of nothing but a few coincidences? It's just been strange. I've had these kinds of things happen with electricity a few times...I used to say that computers and such would see me coming and have a nervous breakdown! But today it's not stopping so far.
My experience is that the universe is being extra careful so that you go into a critical decision making point or day, with no false (too much knowledge) support. For dreams are allegorical tales of our coming experiences (from my personal experience in these matters) and of our spiritual associations in astral realms.

You might be undergoing some fine tuning in your timeline so electrical items could experience failure. 'realists' would write it off to electrostatic charge change, ie lower humidity, power fluctuations and possibly weather temperature changes due to seasonal aspects..but the nature of emergent reality is that like the dream it ALWAYS forms from formlessness INTO something that is stable in THIS 'conscious' frameworks.

This is why the 'scientist' can find the exact descriptors and answers for a linear minded and 'ground pounder' shaped scenario. At the same time they can completely fail to understand that the ramifications of the personal frameworks is what literally frames their experiential 'frameworks' of reality.

to put it more plainly: scientists who do not believe in physic energies or dimensional timelessness and formative aspects of matter/energy....they can conduct experiments in psychic phenomena and have them fail, every time.

Those scientists who DO believe in and KNOW of the reality of psychic phenomena..they can do the same tests and the same experiments in as strict or even stricter protocols..and have the experiments work 100% of the time.

This clearly illustrates the effect of the formation of time/space-matter/dimensions as coming from and involving the viewer or experiencer as a DIRECT case of DIRECT and full involvement.

Never, never, never allow anger to grow and then toss it around at other spaces or places, or at yourself. Same for fear. Do not project or live within fear. for it will literally become you as a reflection of reality.

Our problem comes when we try to understand this as a full and constant state of awareness. since energies are collective and can and are amplified by the collective and permeate our selves and those around us....those who do NOT understand these things, their ignorance on these matters WILL force such clarity FROM your mind. This, as a collective push from all around you.

since those who are aware are few and far between, those people are going to have to deal with the unconscious push from all others.

Your only break is that they do it unconsciously, so they don't directly attack. UNTIL you raise their ire and their collective unconscious will then attack in some form. besides any personal and individually created direct attacks.
