Piers have been on my mind too, the past few days.

Dreams snippet ... I was falling down a deep deep well, and could see the full moon above me. I wasn't upset to be falling, I think it signifies the shadow work. The moon would be emotions. I was happy to get this little dream and remember it.

Another one a couple nights ago, of villagers. We were moving little basket-like things, and placing them into 'portals' in the side of the earth. No idea what was in the baskets, but something positive.

I'm off to work. It's a rainy, stormy day but I think there's a break right now.

What was in those baskets was us...we are basket cases.
Or at least those parts we are putting up for change.
I love love love your moon dream...what a fantastic image.
Falling into the well is also like a returning into the womb...getting ready for the second birth...or rebirth.
The moon above is your new mother/motherhood.
Everything made new. The break from the old happens one person at a time.
Before the break...boredom. After the break....no more boredom.

I read this out loud, so my husband who was getting ready for work could hear it too.
It produced a brief satori moment.
Saying good stuff out loud, as well as writing it down, works quite well, too,
if you are not sitting in a moving vehicle and therefore unable to do the Meeradas excercise.

Okay ... other side of the bridge music time. Going to post the studio version as opposed to a live version. Even though there is nothing to "look at" except the album cover, the studio version has more of an eerie, spooky wind howling feel to it which is why this song came to mind (aside from the title). Will copy the lyrics too. One of my freshman college favs ... dorm room, black lights/posters, smell that insense ... ahhhhh.

The Moon, I see, is the higher self, in softer form than the glarin light of father sun, mother moon is gentle in her stare. Falling down the well is falling into the original self, the original power. Baskets are sowing seeds of mystery into the earth, it is the energies and intentions of the greater self, of many lifetimes of experience, put into the place where on the fateful day there is emergence and the bearing of fruit. I am feeling in the dream the thrill of growth surrounded with the comfort of the higher self to prepare for the shock of breaking forth as the ground breaks and your truth emerges.

Meant to add that I feel I am on the other side of that wall, working on (overwhelming) emotional energy and I wish I was high!

It grieves to learn that you are in psychic pain, and it further grieves me to hear that you wish to escape your inner work. Like cleaning a room, each moment that is put off only leads to a little more accretion of the problem. The wonderful tools of the plant world were never meant for regular usage, IMO. Alcohol is a plant tool as well. It is our native neurochemistry that is our karmic path. Only you know if you are using these helpers as tools or crutches. Needless to say, the ability to create abundance and other desirable effects in our life is hampered by regular use of these tools. One climbs a tower to see the road ahead, but the tower will not move you one inch along the road you need to travel. Such is the case with getting high. The need to do this is also a sign of not being comfortable with who you are. We are the chemicals in our bloodstream. Consciousness produces hormones, through the autonomic nervous system, translating this into our bodily experience of life. Drugs distort/enhance this somatic interfacing with the phenomenal world.

Your power is completely dependent on being who you are, natively. Drug usage is a form of schizophrenia, because you are the chemicals in your bloodstream and there is a variance between the natural and the induced. You are effectively different personages, each with a different view and desire of what reality should be, however slight or great those differences are. Two or more people cannot create a consistent reality. Herein is a great problem finding happiness because we keep on bumping into the creation of an 'other' in our lives. Our ego masks these differences in an attempt at seamlessness. Works on most people too.

If you want some form of consistency in your life, you must be consistent. Your native neurochemistry is your path to consistency.

I offer this in love. Ignoring it will not grieve me. I have done what my path requires of me. Only you know can know your path. One chemistry makes following it easier. Separate chemistries often see different paths. I hope these ideas were presented in a clear fashion.

It took me many years to come to these ideas. I have not always been drug and alcohol free. I could also word that as, I have not always been free. The view of a holding cell is different from the outside. It is the wounds we have personally overcome that we are best versed to address.

Ulli is speechless. Modwiz, you outdid yourself there.

Yet I predict that Ernie will again wiggle out of this net of transformative w o r d s. He is the master wiggler.

One last comment. The Ernie who manifests his starvation periods has more of a purpose than I initially suspected.
So it's all good.
One man's lows are another man's highs....it's all related.

And Ulli, I hear you too, I do seem to need some wiggle room, just in case. Funny how we are blind to our own faults but the faults of others are so clear and obvious, in most cases.

I was thinking of you when I wrote my long post. I know you use it for vacation. I do hope I was clear in my wording that tools are meant to be used. It was the the analogy of the tower I hope I made my best point about utility and then moving forward. I was hoping you would chime in. Seemed natural for you to do so.

I loved that image Modwiz used about a tower being good to have a look from, but can not move one forward along the road.
Equally what you said here in your latest post on your Lithium thread struck a major chord with me:

The point is that you can then see that evil can only work on the bulk of humankind. Evil literally is the conforming to the mass pressure state.
conforming to the mass pressure state is then...an unending state of affairs. Or, in religion, dogma. Ie, an immutable unchanging universe. Same goes for almost any descriptive in engineering sciences that states a form of permanence and immutability. Such a thing in science is literally dogma.

This is confirmed by what happens when a mob goes wild ...where people who are normally non-violent suddenly become incredibly aggressive.

I'm comfortable with who I am, and I dread it's use, or the initiation of it's use -- As much as I dread the loss of it's use, once initiated. I call it my 'teflon mountain' as I can't seem to balance on the top of it. I keep sliding down one side or the other.
