Ernie: when you smoke you get the immediate break and a subtle lift. Continued use creates a blanking out and stalling of growth. I, for example, quit smoking the little tiny bits that I have been consuming in the evenings, for the past two weeks. I did it last night.

The very same night... I get proper sleep and proper dream states.

I was thinking of you when I wrote my long post. I know you use it for vacation. I do hope I was clear in my wording that tools are meant to be used. It was the the analogy of the tower I hope I made my best point about utility and then moving forward. I was hoping you would chime in. Seemed natural for you to do so.

I'm comfortable with who I am, and I dread it's use, or the initiation of it's use -- As much as I dread the loss of it's use, once initiated. I call it my 'teflon mountain' as I can't seem to balance on the top of it. I keep sliding down one side or the other.

I know it well, brother. The holding cell can be so cozy.

transform, transmute, transcend....

Transcendence without transformation only leads to psychological crashes...I'm sure we all can agree on that one.
But how can transformation be attained?
Fear does have as much of a role in this as hope for something better.
A combo method of those two has always worked for me while I was religious.
The old reward and punishment duality thingy...

Nowadays that I can access inspiration more easily all that is required is a quick step into a mental zero field...
like using the Ho'oponopono method.
Few techniques have worked for me like that one. I know quite a few here are also familiar with it, but a little reminder can't hurt.

For example, yes, the dark half... comes to mind. I'd like to see or know some visceral aspect of the musings of Mr. Fulford. Show me the money. The thing that comes to mind is the words of Alexis machine at the opening of the prologue of 'The Dark Half'. Which is rather dark....

Our issue is, to some degree, that this cannot happen... as the mob side of the equation erupts, which is a step backward.

Last night in my dreams traveling on plasma energy lines (bridges) and coming back i could hear/see golden light and mists around me. When I came to the end of the bridge someone threw to me a long stem red rose.... as I caught it I awoke out of the dream.

I've just been given a fresh round of shadow work
If I choose to accept the challenge . So I'm going to
detail this process a little on here as it seems to be
a theme of late .

And I can only speak from my own years of dragging
my sorry self around avoiding what hurt me..
Wherever you go that's where you are, so all that happens
in your life becomes a hall of mirrors until there are no
more doors left to try. All of lifes answers come down
to facing the shadow, even healing the world .
There is no better example of this than Sandra ingermans
"medicine for the earth " work She did experiments with
polluted water and had the results lab tested. She had place the
water in the centre of her healing circle with everyone
praying over it . But the greatest results came when
the water was ignored and everyone focussed on their
own healing . The increase in vibration in the room
natrually healed the water, changing the ph to make it
drinkable .

The implications of this study are huge, but hardly
surprising . And for anyone that still thinks that working
on yourself is selfish take this as validation . Its actually
all we are required to do, is know thyself and heal thy self .
And from there everything in own world is then reflects
back our own growth .

And sure, there is denial and hysteria there. That's part of the process.
But tunneling down into the interior of our individual as well as collective psyche
is no more dangerous than a journey through the haunted house at a circus fair.
Except at the end we find a tabernacle, a holy of holies.
That secret room of the innermost self...where there is more light than a thousand suns.

Whats happening with me is that i am very pleased to have been granted the honor of participating on this great website.( sorry if have have barged in so rudely with corny comments) It will pass.

I`ve been reading for more than a year now on Avalon, Camelot and it introduced me to a whole new world i would have never known about( just felt for a very long time something wasnt right and very fishy) and now i have a much better understanding of what going on for real.

I'm really noticing a split in paradigms.
And trying to communicate to the old one,
is worse than taking to a brick wall.

Frustration city, interesting though, seeing the shift.
and watching the two worlds trying to co-exist,
but failing dismally.

A funny thing happened last night. I was standing at my kitchen basin getting water. All of a sudden it felt as though it was moving away from me. Dipping down.
I am of sane mind (debatable though *cough*) , not into 'erbs n tings......

You're not alone, ViralSpiral. I've been seeing what I've called a 'blip in the matrix' for over twenty years now...you know, when you get up in the morning the counter is a bit higher or lower than before, the same with the toilet (and that will wake you up quick!), the path through my roses to the front door will shift slightly in one direction or another, etc.

In the past year I've noticed things shifting right in front of me, just as you describe happened to you with the kitchen basin.

Don't know what it means, but it is interesting.

Astrid, just wanted to thank you for sharing your journey. It has been of great benefit to me. You have a way of putting things into words that causes the 'bulb to light'. I often say to myself...ahh, so that's what this is all about...after flailiing about trying to describe what I'm seeing/observing/feeling and failing miserably.

Ernie, quick question. You had said you were an electrician. Are you self-medicating by using the herb? Using it to clear away the aches and pains and stress of the day? Perhaps a visit to an acupuncturist would help if that is so. The spiritual work may be a bit easier once the physical is taken care of.

Happy to say my house is looking good after doing the nasty work of uncluttering, washing, polishing, vacuuming and all the things that make a house shine. Thank goodness it's a small house and doesn't take long to do, especially with lively music to keep me moving.

I see you are flying the Dutch flag.
I know that many people in Holland live below sea level
and so they had to become experts at keeping the sea water from causing drips.
