For some time now, I have felt comparatively, perhaps 20%, present here in the village, or anywhere else for that matter. May I ask everyone to consider all their posts "thanked" for the time being? I realize after 4 or 5 pages,
I have just been reading along, not responding at all.
This is not intentional. I have hopes of returning to greater sync asap.

Took Em with me bed shopping. Good gravy. Got one within 10 minutes. Hmmm...yet another sync that the move is right. Still second guessing, then feeling like a complete idiot for second guessing because every single day there has been an obvious sign, not the ones I'm too oblivious for but a really, really obvious one. For example, one day the owner said she would leave the water in her name and on her account with the water co-op because it would cost us $350 to get it transferred. And every single day something that obvious happened. It was spooky kinda odd. Well, almost.

So, after the first 10 minutes, she wanted to go thrift store shopping. There's a particular store 30 minutes from here that she loves. She likes the boxes they have, the little wooden ones that have miniscule hinges, that you can actually buy at Hel-Mart for 99 cents. I've spent so much time out of the house, that I figured it would be good for her to have some Mom-&-Me time. So, off we went. We were both disappointed when they didn't have a single one. We still had some time, though. She's nervous about the move, which is painfully normal, but it's good that she expressed that to me as she usually would rather make everyone laugh than express her feelings.

In the car, she was fiddling with my phone and found my music. She was curious and wanted to listen to this song. She is now addicted, and we must have listened to it ten times, no joke. Of course, the bass was maxed, no joke there either, and we were in our own 3D heaven

One of my riding students hunted me down today and said to me " I hope you get back everything you give. You give and give and give and you give more in an hour than some people an give all day and I want you to have all of that come back to you."

I was taken aback, I never thought she considered me anything more than the boring monotonous voice that intoned break, break, break, or go now go now go now to her for an hour at a time flogging her to death with implacability.

So I said, pray for me, pray for you and it will come back to chasm from whence it came.

Not long after I recieved some wildly ecstatic news that we are going to be sponsored by a national riding assocation that promotes inner city children to learn how to ride, learn trust in themeselves and each other and confidence. They are going to come in and do everything that we are not egotistical enough to do on our own and then let us have at it. I was howling at the moon, I am so excited.

My daugher is aghast at mother having a 'real' job but , is it, is it really?

Well it's over. Had minor surgery but with full anesthetic. Afterwards went to eat, since I had been on a two day fast.
Then vomited it all up again. Now in bed at home and feeling huge relief. Only told a few close friends because I'm aware that announcing such things publicly makes me vulnerable. Hubby watching soccer now. Me happy, happy. The biopsy results will also prove negative, pretty sure of that. Only feel slight pain in my hand and a dull ache in my lower abdomen, but all quite bearable.

Rest and take care of yourself, no need to do anything you don't fell like doing. Sleep, sleep, sleep, don't push or judge anything you are or are not doing you think you should be doing.

Dull ache indeed, throwing up is a exhausting thing to do.

The bus coming home from work was full as usual so I was standing. A young lady offered me her seat ! It's the first time this happened to me. She must have been inspired by the silver in my hair. I happily declined making sure to let her know how much I appreciated her nice gesture. Time does fly...

The news from my root sister is not good. We met in a community garden some 14 years ago and recognized each other immediately. I am quite shaken. I know that all is good no matter how it seems. She's digesting the news right now, not wanting to talk too much. She's not alone, her husband is by her side. More tests to come, meeting the surgeon tomorrow. I'll be there when she needs me.

Finally finished my Reiki grid. Ulli, you are first up! So glad it's over for you, and all is well. Sending gossamer good wishes, winging through the night to CR.

Tomorrow is Candlemas Day (also Groundhog Day).

The old Vermonters say,
'Half your wood and
half your hay,

Candlemas Day.'

Because it's still a long slog through the rest of winter and into spring -- spring in New England being just a sloppy muddy winter. I loved it all the years I lived there!

Has anybody in the village ever had sugar on snow? It's a spring time ritual in maple syrup country. Maple syrup cooked down til it's very thick, then poured in the middle of a plate of clean snow, which freezes it even thicker. So sweet it makes your teeth hurt. Pick up the syrup candy with a fork and eat it, then bite into a homemade cake donut to offset the sweetness. Then eat a dill pickle to clear your palate. Some people eat seconds.

Fred, This guy still owes me $500 which I lent him nearly 2 years ago. I thought I would never see the money again, but he called yesterday and said he felt bad for not paying me back and could he work off his debt.
Knowing me he will probably get a month of work and make more than he owes me.

Fred, to be honest, compared to US standards my house is a shack. I won't let an American see it unless it's at night, when you can't see the flaws...kind of like a disco in the daytime, minus the chewing gum on the floor, of course.

lol, my cottage is the same, ulli.... I have lately learned the art of selective perception in connection with my surroundings.... This 1940's structure has been classified as a tear down by certain realtors if the property is sold. There is something freeing in that scenario..... No aesthetics necessary for future consideration.... all ultimately a waste of time. For a person who spent years constantly striving to beautify every inch of interior space, there is a certain wonderful freedom in it.

Exciting new 9,
Yes please on the Reiki grid Marianne.
i have a big study weekend lined up,
and fury family being kenneled.
I'm so totally hopeless that i was even looking
at buying them a small sofa for their kennel room, lol !
But i talked some sense into myself and settled for a thin mattress as i don't want them on a concrete floor.
I'm sure they will be fine, i'm just hopeless when it comes to my pets.

Rose me too, i feel terribly rude as I'm posting my crap but not really engaging with anyone else,
i think if i was in a real life village i would be thrown out for being anti- social and not turning up to meetings, lol.

Maybe i can build myself a shaman hut on the outskirts, lol.

I saw that earlier when the discussion first took place and took an additional couple days off work so I could bump it up closer to the moon timing.
