Beautiful pics, Modwiz. Nature in the raw...just perfect as is. No "landscaped" yard could ever be as wonder full as yours.

Keep getting knocked offline...time to work on whatever is going on. bbl

    Yes, it is beautiful.
I wish in my heart that Everyone on Mother Earth could look at and connect with nature like this or similar every day right in front of them.

Perhaps we need a "No Drinking While Posting" smilie.

They are working on technology to test for sobriety in new cars such that if you fail the car won't start.

No doubt the mods have nothing to do with thier time so we can ask them to work on something similar we can all download (for free of course) to attach to our computers so we cannot post past a certain alcohol level.

Yes sad news on that death, i have added it to my list to take a peak into later,
will do what i can, what I'm allowed to do , etc.

Posting while drunk, i have done, but for me these days drunk is two glasses of wine
then I'm pretty much asleep, what happens when you detox, you get to become a cheap
date, lol. But i haven't touched a drop in a over a month. But I do sometimes miss
my glass of wine a night, and i have noticed that dark chocolate and coffee are making
a sneaky re appearance, but when i over do either of them i feel pretty crappy
the next day. One good thing about detoxing your body then lets you know
pretty clearly what you can and can't eat. I actually thought that by now i would have fallen
off the wagon, but it seems like this is a long term change.

I walk through all the junk to get what is left of my supermarket needs, which is mostly for the
dogs, and nothing tempts me or catches my eye, even in the slightest. I see people with trolleys
brim filled with chips, coke, chocolate and white bread, and look at how unwell they look,
not to mention the obese children. It's a whole different life when you don't crave things anymore.
I find no ill effects from chocolate sweetened with stevia and it is very simple to make:

Heat one tablespoon of coconut oil with six droppers of liquid stevia extract and one teaspoon vanilla extract..... until bubbly but not burning. (I confess I do this by placing these ingredients in a small bowl in the microwave for a minute or so.) Then, add three squares of dark baking chocolate that have been cut up or shaved into small pieces. Stir until melted and smooth. The liquid chocolate can then be used as a coating for strawberries, nuts, etc, or simply spread into a bar shape on wax paper and refrigerated until set.

Note: If a a vanilla extract is used that contains too much water, the chocolate will seize up and not become smooth. I recommend homemade vanilla extract made by placing vanilla beans cut lengthwise in a bottle filled most of the way with Everclear (or a 100 proof clear alcohol if you can't purchase Everclear) and waiting a few months until the extract has become a dark color and appropriate strength.

Do you have one of these?

I do have a lawn and a sit down mower. I have over an acre of lawn that I do not mow since I got straight. The Nature spirits told me that a field was more to their liking and was better for birds, bees, other insects, (which bats like) and small animals. So now instead of a lawn I have a meadow, which is so much nicer. These picturee from my wedding in 2001 shows the lawn somewhat.

... is the spot for your tent (when weather permits) somewhere's on the property I assume (if you don't mind me being nosey)?

I like the idea of letting the grass grow.

The nature preserve right next to us obviously is like that with a few nice sized ponds. So nice to be so close to nature and not have to drive for miles

Once every several weeks I will see some deer and was treated to a group of 5 today (we live on the edge of the city).

I guess it's luck. I actually downsize my pictures by 74% before I upload them. My camera is a 10 pixel and takes massive pics.

I live sandwiched between two gun ranges. I hear constant gunfire, in the summer and on clear days.

I also look at deer and wild turkey in the back yard, usually once a week. No hunting is allowed in the area... and the deer and turkey live safely right next to the gun ranges.
