Here and Now...What's Happening?

Here is another photo of the Orosi valley...about 1 mile from our home.

In the foreground a red-flowering Poro tree for which the valley is famous.
If you google Orosi valley and poro you can find more images.

So...you have some nimrod... who wants to ruin this valley, for a dollar..and a mayor who wants to help him. Due to that corrupt mayor having been given a dollar -by association to said nimrod?

So, is it this.... that they are looking for? Something like this? From Columbia, where the west has intruded mightily (not that they can't do it on their own) for the past 60 odd years, and helped turn it into this:



So the mayor can move away into a nice place with his new big screen TV and car?

For if the may or ruins the valley.... he will simply move away.

It's not quite like that picture, since it's not really about tree cutting.

It's about the carting of gravel and sand which gets taken out of the river.
So the main problem is that the trucks are too large in size for the narrow roads here.
Plus the noise these trucks make as they thunder through the small town.
The second problem is the dust generated in the area where the trucks are loaded,
and people who live near these places really suffer, mostly from asthma.

Actually, Costa Rica's former president gave a Canadian company a concession to dig for gold in the jungles nearer the Panamanian border.
The consequences of such a gold rush are similar to the photo you posted.
Strong student demonstrations followed and the people won.
So there is hope for us.
Environmentalists and big biz are at loggerheads here all the time, and it is unlikely that Costa Ricans will allow what has gone on in South America.

For if the mayor is the fulcrum upon which the legal aspects of the valley functions and he wants these trinkets he will aid and abet, and then.... he will simply move away.

Sit and find the weak point in their legal argument. Find a bigger stick. don't appeal to emotions in people alone (as a single item or attempt), appeal to their finances, even if you have to find someone from outside. Find a person, group, or corporation that can and will willingly be a weapon against them, and then pile that upon the emotional pull from the population. And when this thing strikes, get some paper on it. Ie. local legislation that disallows such things to ever appear on your doorstep again. for that is how the bad guys do it. They create a multi-faced/faceted rolling force and then use that momentum to drive further than their original desires.

Love and lighters say, "They are just us doing the dirty work for our awakening". I'm with Gandalf, lots of love and compassion and killing orcs* that will do nothing but destroy everything. I understand the roles of dark and light, and also understand some method actors will takes their roles to their graves. Such dispatch is also part of the role playing, as Krishna counseled Arjuna on the battlefield.

*(There were never any orc extermination plans and rightly so. No mischief, no malice. It is crawling out from under rocks with such malice aforethought that must me dealt with using extreme prejudice. Imagine our immune system declaring pathogens as just one of them and the results. Our current world situation is a good place to look for such an example. It is why 'they' create adversaries and war, to keep our minds off of them and their foul works.)

Back to dreaming about future events. Only takes a few days....

I dreamt about this conversation and all that surrounds it, before I woke. But, in allegorical terms. As usual. This is how the mind/intellect recognizes shapes, when filtered by the hindbrain systems. Getting past the hindbrain barrier ends up showing their true shapes and meanings.

Truth be, I think we all do this sort of thing, to one degree or another. Recognizing it and turning one's attention to it, does indeed help clarify that temporal window.

Truth be, I think we all do this sort of thing, to one degree or another. Recognizing it and turning one's attention to it, does indeed help clarify that temporal window.

One of the farmers near where I grew up sold all of his land to a company that mined his earth.
I was only 4 when they first started. There was no traffic on the road in front of our farm, except for those sand trucks.
And they used to scare me.
It wasn't really earth, but sandy soil which had been deposited by the edge of the glacier during the last ice age.

Anyway, the more they dug out the sand the more groundwater became exposed and now there is a lake there.
I was prompted to go online and search for pictures of that lake, and lo and behold
I even found a website. Someone rents out spots to anglers there now.

So, as usual, I discover that time cures many ills.
I try to see the good in the bad, and the bad in the good.
Seeing the bigger long-term perspective means less emotional upheaval.

Well, more than just Pluto-Sun transit. She had a close Sun/Jupiter conjunction so Pluto hit them both.
Saturn in Libra has been squaring her Mars in Capricorn and Mars' long transit in Virgo was stationary for weeks right on her Saturn. Today Mercury square her Pluto.
I really hope she has a good transition to the next world.

Not sure what you mean.
Do you mean that Pluto on one's sun could never bring death?
Pluto is the planet associated with life and death, with the threshold to the other dimension, the vortex point.
So dependent on one's direction, one could be catapulted back into life, with a total rebirth type of energy, or pop into the other world, which is also a kind of birth.
I guess it depends on what her deepest longings were.
Maybe she was dying to get out.

Lovely Samara, and it's a reminder for me to focus on the cycle of transformation, growth and re-birth
rather than get stuck in grieving.

I will sent up the bones of my garden before my furniture or any other possessions arrive.
There is not that much space, but just enough to weave some magic.

Even though I moved from a funky apartment to a lovely house in Paradise, I grieved. I was surprised how much I grieved. I LOVED that place... and I still miss my little songbirds. David went by the other day, and the birds in the backyard gathered and shrieked at him. He was sooooo sorry he had no food for them, and the feeders and suet cages we left for the next tenants, were empty.

While I love our new house in Paradise, it doesn't feel like "home" yet. Takes time to put down roots.

The Path

I find myself on the path that changes
Immersed and morphed in utter strangeness
This vexing hex is life is contagious
Hidden as it is behind a veiled opaqueness.

The miracle of Tao with utmost stinginess

Did two things today.

1, I re-registered to make comments on a high technology website,and...

2, spoke about psychic sensitivity and the non linear aspects of time and temporal precognition.

This (possibly...) resulted in me getting ghost phone calls from disconnected phone numbers.

Nothing new there.......

Yes it's the main reason I'm stalling on signing my
new lease - garden grieving
I'm going to be hopefully too busy to fret overly
but I do know that my garden has been such a big part
of my healing process here I hope, I will be able to
stay on my path without my tree friends
Thnking of all the ways I can compensate for its loss

I have a friends daughter coming today to help me with
packing haven't seen her for a while so looking forward
to it. At least I here she is reconsidering going into the army
and we are all sighing great relief about that Besides the
obvious is was just a terrible fit she is way too creative and
free spirited . It was a following in daddy's footsteps kind of
thing - thankfully she has seen sense

Old habits die hard.

Here I am, at the 2:01 mark. Just before the SHTF, I drop it a gear..and floor it..and speed UP, not down.

That used to be my habit, long time ago.
Now I'm the opposite. Passive, and inactive.
When unpleasant stuff appears on the screen of my life I see it as a signal
that I have strayed from the center of my path.
I know I have become too lethargic.

Right now, another activity inside our peaceful complex.
A bunch of tourists dressed up as soldiers and with ink guns,
all screaming their guts out while chasing and shooting one another.
Well, the screaming is mostly from the women in the group.
Right there in the pasture in front of where I live.

It's as if this peaceful paradise is being invaded on several fronts.
Not only do we have the local gravel guy.

Talk of something not feeling right.
I can't stand screaming women.
But now I'm feeling a bit guilty, as I believe my higher self should just be happy
that these people are having so much fun. Instead I'm wallowing in my irritability,
another reminder that I'm getting old.
Grr...
