    Default Mexico protest

I am seeing incredibly huge (maybe the biggest EVER) protests images on FB going on right now but no MSM coverage at all!

    Anyone else seeing this happen?

Sorry, can't upload links to the images just yet - I am not at home and on iPad.

What in the hell is happening in Mexico?

The PRI has ruled mexico for about 70 years until Calderon (Partido Acción Nacional) was elected in 2006. Now the PRI has been re-elected this year. Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador (the 'Populist' candidate) came in second the past two elections. In the last election he claimed fraud due to the 1% difference in margin to the winning candidate. That did cause some upsurge. But this time that difference was 6%, and he is still claiming fraud for this year's election. He certainly lost fair and square this time, but his call for his supporters to protest the results has really revved up the rage of many people. I guess people are just reacting, corresponding to the wave of revolts occurring around the world right now. The Mexican people are not happy, and this uprising was expected to happen if Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador lost again. Its only a matter of time when the media should pick up on this...
IMO There is no such thing as a fair election anymore. Almost every election is controlled now.

It's most defIntely about the election fraud but what really bothers me is - how big does a protest have to be before the MSM will cover it? This is HuGE!

I went to youtube and wow ! looks like 300,000 or more , the crowd runs down the main street for a couple miles and the area with the mass of people could fill ten football fields. packed. looks like the president that was declared the winner pissed off the people and they want him gone . He is accused of vote buying with hundred dollar grocery cards to supporters among other things they are upset about fraud , and being in a strangle hold for so long.

The election was stolen again, for the millionth time by the PRI (institutional revolutionary party.) This party was in power from 1930 till 2000 when the lost to Vicente Fox's PAN (national action party.)

The leftist Obrador, won this election by a good 6% but was stolen by the PRI party that had bought the I.F.E. which is the organization that takes care of the vote counting and fraud allegations.

People are getting tired that their votes almost never count at the end re****, most of the time the same PRI political party wins the presidential election.

Facebook has been used as a newsroom to spread the word, photos and videos about frauds during this election. There are videos where people are selling their votes to certain people and even in a pyramidal way......if you bring more people to sell their votes, you will get more money. People sold their votes for $500 pesos (40USD) (25GBP) or gift cards with $100 to $500pesos each. To go and use it in a supermarket chain called Soriana (similar to walmart).

There's been manifestations against the result of the election nationwide, this last 7th of July and there will be another pacific protests the 10th of July against the IFE to complain about the results.

I hope they can cancel the election because of fraud and a get a 2nd round of voting.

So far it's been pacific protests, lets keep it that way.

Televisa (main TV station) helped the candidate from the PRI party to achieve his goal of winning the presidency. So they will show it on main stream media but they would talk about the protest been violent and unpopular with the mexican people. Which of course is not true.

The president elect Enrique Pena Nieto, got married a couple of years before the general election with a TV actress from the Televisa TV station. She was a soap opera actress. So yes, it was all planned and acted.

    Thanks for the videos.

I wonder if there is anything we really do to pressure the MSM here to cover this.
