Thumbs up Re: Here and Now...What's Happening?

Though im a huge fan of the old cars. And hate to rain on Rahykt's parade. Yet I present a new technology in Automobiles. Inspired by The Man, The Legend, The Forgotten Wizard, The most inspiring human to breath air on this planet. Mr. Nikola Tesla. Look Mom No Need Of Fossil Fuels Any longer. Yup Fully Electric. And you can charge these bad boys with Solar Energy. Have a gander if you will.

Facts: Tesla vehicles offer performance, handling, and comfort with no tailpipe emissions. Assuming half of all US electricity comes from coal, Tesla vehicles cut in half the CO2 emissions of its petroleum-burning rivals.

Powering the grid through increasingly efficient methods decreases the overall emissions of energy generation. Many Tesla owners take reducing their carbon footprint a step further - they install residential solar systems and charge completely off the grid. Their cars are truly emissions free.

Petroleum is a limited resource. The United States maintains about 2% of the world's petroleum reserves but consumes 25% of the supply. Nearly two-thirds of petroleum is used by the transportation sector and demand continues to rise. The supply will not last forever. Minimizing dependence on petroleum not only reduces emission, but also builds a stronger energy economy. The Tesla Roadster is the hottest, fastest way to declare independence.

I wonder if there going to put solar panels on the car itself? The hood, the roof and the trunk perhaps.

o_O That Tesla looks reeeaaal nice. I have to admit, the new cars always remind me of old 1930s Flash Gordon cartoons. But wait, some of those old cars I posted up do too! Especially that green one Dedukshyn likes! Don't ask me about that lil doll on the purple one, if you noticed, there's an ol skool drive in burger joint tray in the window too! LOL

BC, how about pink with purple stripes?!?!

    Post it up Ulli!

WOW great collection, ES! And you got rid of them because you prefered public transportation, right?! LOL You really saw those boat-cars on the water?! So they really work??

    no use for that here.

If the price included a lifetime of fuel, or better, if the thing wouldn't need any, i might reconsider.

Yes, they really work Rahkyt : ) They would drive 'em right in down the boat ramp and head out on the water...some with single prop and some with double prop on rear.

    Hi, kids.

I need a mood boost today. My unemployment benefits ran out a month ago and I have been unable to find work. Lots of interviews, but no offers yet. I'm a business executive and most blue collar jobs won't hire me because they know as soon as I get a six figure job offer again I will be out the door. And they are right. This economy is very tough. My long term prospects are still very good, but my short term survival is going to be rough.

So what do you guys do when you are feeling despondent?

Hi Whiskey, sorry to hear about that. I'm with you in spirit brother. It's a funny thing, in hindsight, the things that I absolutely need have always found their way to me. The wants? Ehhh... These days, I live life with the unbending, and unyielding intent(thank you Don Juan) of being in harmony with the great Dance Of Creation. So far anyway, it would seem the more this is trusted, the more things, no matter how desperate they may appear at times, seem to wind up working out o.k.

In the meantime, I toast your neverending drink right back with a frosty cold Budweiser.

    Cheers,
    Fred

Oh, by the way, carpenters and contractors are not exactly in hot demand these days either.

Well, I look around and ask the question: What can I sell around here that I don't need? What can I do around here to reduce my budget and reduce my expenses? Call your creditors, and tell them you are going to cancel if they don't reduce your monthly bill. If you have a car payment, sell it and get something paid for. If you have a mortgage and can easily set up an RV space in your backyard, offer to rent it. Get a roommate. Plant some vegetables.

Then, if you have a sense of value, look for items that you can pick up on the cheap and turn around for a 20% profit by reselling them. For example, I found a 5000 KW generator which I made 600 bucks on in the most recent month. I dunno, get creative.

If you've already done these things, go for a walk. Anything to keep the energy moving.

Me when I have money issues

I look at where my flow is blocked
Often I give more out in whatever form that may take
I give money away even though I have very little
Also I plant more seeds , gardening is an excellent cure
all on so many levels . It reminds us how to keep our
energies moving and flowing freely even in times of
    despair there is always growth

And always look for the higher meaning in things
I find timing is everything and I trust in the process
that is unfolding ... There is alwys so much going on
for us behind the scenes even if it's not as yet manifesting
into hard matter . And think about expanding your ideas
of your income sources maybe you are being nudged to
change career or at least widen your field of view

Above all trust that all is well and work to process out that
despair . Its in the void that we find the greatest growth
and the longer you can sit in the space tbe greater the
    transformation

Also a good time to look at your attachments
And the whole money topic in general.
From my experience wih working with others when they
have a block in their money flow and it's often in the form
of illness ... It ends up being an incredibly important period
of personal transformation ... And it gets one to reassess
    everything .

    Just some 6am musings
And asking for help is also a very humbling and energy
unplugging act so well done for reaching out I'm sure
You are on the right track

    Greetings, Whiskey!

I found myself in your situation a couple of times in the course of my career. Once, I was recruited by a head hunter to move from a job in Connecticut to Pennsylvania for a much more lucrative position, but within a year the company's owner drove it into bankruptcy. I looked for awhile, but came up empty. That's when I asked my Guides/Higher Self for help. The next day I got a phone call from a company who had heard I was in the area and, based on my reputation, was wondering if I was interested. Yes, I was (since my funds had dwindled by that point to next to zero). I ended up even better off than if the original company had remained solvent.

Some years later, I was recruited to California (by head hunters again) from the East Coast for another high paying job. They covered all the moving expenses and offered a nice signing bonus too. Within a year, however, that company decided to close the whole West Coast division, leaving me holding a very costly mortgage. This time, I looked around for companies that matched my interests. I found one that looked like a good possibility, and went to the CEO directly, skipping Human Resources. He didn't have a position, but I convinced him to let me create one, and he did. I made a deal that if I could generate at least a 10 million dollar profit in 4 months, I would get my salary demand, and within 4 months, I'd exceeded the projection, so I ended up better off than I'd been in the company that had originally recruited me to California.

Best of luck in your pursuits, Brother!

Sounds like some emotions and FEELINGS will be entering this proverbial Diamond Tom mentions. I also enjoyed this Astrid. Wanishi. A song by Angel called FEELINGS came to mind.
