Amazing, benevolentcrow! I love it... Some magazine ought to do a piece on your little guys, and their village, and you.

Hello you darling little chicky-babes: Adele, Brigitte, Charlotte, Dorothee, Edith, Fleur, Giselle, Helen, Irene, Juliet, Karina, Lisette, Madeline, Nadine.
Thanks WhiteCrowBlackDeer and WhiteFeather! Some magazine should do a little piece on the Here and Now...What's Happening Village! Lots of amazing Villagers with amazing skills!

Went shopping today and investigated Wagan products.
Barbados has lots of sunshine so they are very advanced when it comes to solar power generators.

This converter is just under $1000 here, and cheaper than in a Sears store in the US.

Good Evening Villagers. Feeling a little drained today from that Solar Flare. Anyone Else? Sometimes its nice to kick back and recharge our batteries.
Got up early and went for a walk while it was breezy and cool this morning, gave Wolfe a bath, and got some chores done. I'm on hyper drive emotionally. Paul's vid put me over the edge with the lady and taxi driver. It touched a chord that went deep. So, I downloaded a couple of movies and ran out for Ben & Jerry's. Now, hiding from myself watching: "Love Happens," with Jennifer Aniston, Aaron Eckhart & "Mr. Jones," with Richard Gere, Lena Olin.

I'm aware that I'm not making eye contact with anyone because I don't know if I'll bust out in a crying jag. It's not depression. It's heart expansion. It's been like this for a couple of weeks. Pulled in two directions, wanting to be with others and not wanting to be with others.

So, my short answer, White Feather, is..."Yup". Drained from all the emotions.

And now back to the movie already in progress...

Well....Lena Olin. Probably her best role ever is in the film 'Romeo Is Bleeding'. However, it is not for the faint hearted. Also...it is probably Gary Oldman's best role ever. There is a chance that neither of them will ever eclipse what they did in that film. It is a romance, of sorts. Sort of. Intense in a way that is indescribable.

That chicken house is so fabulous, BC, congratulations.
If I had one like that I would find no time for the Village at all.

Portable and solar/plug in. They are really expensive in the US.

I am getting older, I have to set down and rest in front of my computer every now and then. I don't have the energy I once had!

I hope to evoke strong memories for my grandchildren.

    Quote Posted by Wakytweaky (here)

It's been several months now that I started of with this seeking of the true self, or whatever people call this.
In essence all I'm doing is trying to 'let everything to be' and look at what is there to see, in the understanding that this is not me.
Some days this works for a good part of the day and some days... ahhh it's like banging my head against a wall. Nothing happens and i can't understand what I am doing wrong.
So today I suddenly realised that at those moments... probably there is self pitty that I'm not seeing, or allowing to be. It is self pitty in a denial state. When I realised this, it shifted and then things flowed.... muscles in the gut relaxing, tension in the chest area gone and grief surfacing.
I really loath self pitty... yugh... and now It seems that there's a lot of it in me.
But.... when I start allowing it to be from now on, without identifying with it... it will be a breakthrough. I can feel that.
Nothing happens Waky? Experiences come and go - always as anything which has a beginning, has an end but it is not the experiences which are the aim here or need to be sought. Something more subtle in the background on which the experiences are perceived is unfolding, maturing, revealing itself.

The feelings we hate the most are the ones which we have resisted the most and in that resistance we have denied them all that they ever wanted which was their full expression in life.

If the feeling present is self-pity then it will need to be directly felt and expressed just as the feeling of joy would be.

A technique that I find helpful in aiding the expression of feelings is to give them a voice. Go somewhere private where you can be alone and go directly to the feeling, then let it have its say. Vocalise the feeling.

In doing this you may become aware of any fear which prevents you from voicing the feeling or any resistance to doing it because it does not fall into what would be considered "spiritual". Just remain aware during the process. All feelings need to be fully expressed and in doing so you may discover a lot

You're completely right. There is no movement. I intend to forget that fact.

I've had certain rear moments within this 'life' so to speak, in which I felt just 'the now and all'. You put me with your question right back on that track which I stepped 'away' from.
Now I relive these moments because of your question. And it feels f.... great. Thank you for that.

And than the awareness of the intense pure love and creative energy of the universe I got in return. On these rear moments, tears of unconditional love were flowing over my face. I felt 'just' pure pure love, incredible bright light and nothing else than, strangely enough...everything....

And that's what I 'got' in return for 'just' letting loose all (control) and excepting everything with the unconditional feeling that it's ok as how it is.
Not a bad exchange, ain't it
Not at all bad Thank you for sharing what happened.

Quote I think I will start to practice it again. I wonder how many time it will take me this time, to find these experiences once more.

I forget to take the time to collect these experiences. Thinking (my ego) that it is more important to pay attention to my ego, my family, my made, other relationships, daily returning routines and other important ( ) issues.
To say it else way, who am I fooling now???
All of life is a distraction for us. That doesn't mean that we don't enjoy all of life for what it is but don't let it distract us from discovering what we truly are, if that is where the heart is taking us in this lifetime.

Remember though that experiences have a beginning and end and will always come and go and this is not what the spiritual search is about. It is about discovery of what remains when everything else comes and goes.

    Quote
To get back to your question: what is that???

As I relive it in my memory (where time doesn't exists) I just feel pure love and intense happiness, compassion, bright energy and so on.
But am I all of that? Am I all these feelings, these emotions, 'knowing' that I am NOT emotions, just that I can feel them? Am I that, or is it that, what I choose to observe?

It's looking without searching for anything. It's less than observing, less effort.
It's just 'being there', without willing anything. Really accepting everything, everything, everything. Each itch, each pain, sorrow and laughter.

So thinking of my last sentences which I've written, I start to think that it maybe, might be the complete 'emptiness'???? which give space to all potentials and possibilities....

I really do not know it. Do you???
All good questions but don't answer the questions. Let the questions take you to the truth

My experience in this thread, along with parallel knowledge gained elsewhere, has allowed me to weave my way through potential pitfalls at work.

My first three days on the job were very difficult, both because I was out of shape and the task I was asked to perform was highly technical work and required a good working knowledge of the building - which I did not have. It was exasperating. I even thought of quiting a few times. I was not doing well. Then the training kicked in. I looked at the situation dispassionately - with my emotions and feelings set to the side. The solution was simple: ask to be placed elsewhere on the job. The boss did not even blink at the request and I was put in another group the next day. There I still am and doing quite well.

But the lessons continued because I ended up with a guy who felt threatened by me or he just did not like me, I'm not sure. I seemed to annoy him for my opinions and knowledge or something like that. And because I was performing my work with such alacrity, I was being given extra duties as well. He was pissing me off with his attitude. After a few days of mounting tension, the training kicked in again. I considered: How can I make friends with this guy? So, the next day I brought him in a "special" set of drill bits for his "cool" little impact drill (which is really just a unversatile version of mine). He was really surprised by that move. Then I started helping him whenever I saw he was in need of a hand. Soon he started to reciprocate. Now we greet each other like best buddies in the mornings...

It's good to be working again, it makes me feel useful.

    hugs

My experience in this thread, along with parallel knowledge gained elsewhere, has allowed me to weave my way through potential pitfalls at work.

My first three days on the job were very difficult, both because I was out of shape and the task I was asked to perform was highly technical work and required a good working knowledge of the building - which I did not have. It was exasperating. I even thought of quiting a few times. I was not doing well. Then the training kicked in. We have a cloud cover this morning, which is nice. Step 1 - need clouds, done. I am listening to a youtube "best sounds of rain falling" outside on my princess balcony. I am feeling the freshness that a rainfall brings and smelling the soft smell of earth and water. All of the birds are coming to see me, which is not unusual, but I can hear them saying - yes, let's make it rain ! The trees are in agreement.

    Life is good.

Good Evening Villagers. Feeling a little drained today from that Solar Flare. Anyone Else?
Sometimes its nice to kick back and recharge our batteries.
I wasn´t aware of the flare...

Yesterday was very cloudy, but towards the evening the sun began to peep through. So we ordered a couple of pizzas and drove to a magical beach in an oak forest. When we arrived the clouds were back so we sat shivering on the rocks eating our pizza, enjoying the beauty of dark clouds on the horizon.

And then - a window of sky. My neighbour and I stepped into the sea. Stinging jellyfish had been sighted, so I tried telepathy and asked them to not bother me. We swam in the sea and sun, and then as the window of sky nearly had passed I sat on the rocks again. Drying in the wind and the last rays. Thanking the sun with my heart.

And that is about the time the flare hit.

Looking at the battered old car in front of mine as I drove home, I noticed a small sticker. It read: Feed the soul.
