I'm thinking that I'm not giving my sovereignty to some dogmatic idea of a god showing me a miracle, or giving me a miraculous moment or outcome.

The idea that there is me, the lowly one, and there is the great spirit, or whatever ...as a separation.

I'm stepping up to the plate and taking it all on, that it is all on me.

That I'm moving toward and into it.

To become the understanding and be intertwined with it. Directly, actively, purposely, to move, to be as.

And THAT, as a point of clarity as to what actually 'is'.....is the critical turning point.
I've seen 7, my favorite was the little girl in a wheelchair who had never walked, that stood up and walked to her mom and gave her a hug...

her mom was crying with joy, when they looked up, I was gone...

    divine powers are very real...

I just smile knowing the big guy couldn't have done it without me...

my prize was a precious memory and belief...

I was 21 and traveling in Europe with a friend. We had returned to Barcelona after about a week on Ibiza and decided to hitch hike to France. Bad luck that we got picked up by 3 men who stole everything we had, luggage, passports and money. I had about $1 left and we were out in the Spanish countryside somewhere. We hitch hiked back to Barcelona and I told my friend we should just go sit down by where the ships arrived in an area that had a lot of benches. I strongly believed that something would happen and I told her not to worry and that we would be taken care of.

It happened so fast she was amazed. After about 20 minutes a man and woman walking past us recognized my friend and it turned out they were from her town in California. She and the husband had worked at the same hospital and they were friends. So she went to talk with them. I sat there alone, patiently. Within another 15 minutes a very nice looking soldier, about 35 years old, walked right up to me and started talking. It turned out he was American and he was very attracted to come over and talk with me. To make a long story short, the friends of my friend gave her some money. The soldier got us a hotel room for a few days, took us to the American Embassy and talked them into giving us passports quickly AND paid for them. He also took us shopping for clothes. Yes, he and I had a few wonderfully passionate days together! LOL...

I have had many incidents similar to this and I know I'm always taken care of in any situation. So I often would sit and wait, expecting something miraculous (which is rather ordinary) to happen.

There have been a few auto accidents too. My favorite one was when my sister and I were driving in Mexico, from California to Mexico City. I was driving through Guaymas on the Gulf coast and all of a sudden a sandstorm hit. We could barely see and I had just started slowing down when I saw a car stopped about 10 ft. or so in front of us. I had just enough time to jerk the wheel to the right and we hit the corner of the bumper of the car as we went over the edge of the road. We went into the air and started flying/falling.

Time slowed down, we couldn't see what was beneath us because the visibility was so bad, so we didn't know how far we would fall. It seemed like a LONG time and we just looked at each other as we were falling. Finally we hit the ground, landing upright and even though we were in a VW bus we didn't roll. After the first few seconds of relief we started laughing and laughing. Close calls can be quite exhilarating! Up above on the road several people were killed and many cars and trucks were piled up in the accident. If we hadn't gone over the side of the road someone would have hit us from behind. As we sat there in the car we heard more cars above crashing into the pile up.

    Enjoying the stories..

I guess miracles only happen in ‘this reality’ because once we step outside of it and leave our ‘minds’ at the door the word miracle dissapears and we realise that this life is just an illusion
    Leave no stone unturned...

My brother passed away almost a year ago. The day he died, upon hearing the news, my Mother had a heart attack. It turned out that my Mother had an unknown underlying heart condition. I believe the heart attack was my Brother's parting gift, a miracle. She had a mild heart attack and as a result it was discovered she had this underlying heart condition. She since has had surgury and has been going for physiotherapy and now is in a lot better shape. It doesn't bare thinking about what could have happened if it wasn't discovered. A few weeks ago two women stopped me and asked me to sit with them for a minute. It turned out that they were sisters and were both pyschic. They told me they could see my brother standing next to me stroking my cheek and that they could see that I was sorrounded by his love. They told me his "mission in life" was to "open peoples hearts".

My mom gave me what turned out to be a spectacular parting gift, when she died back in '99. I had gotten to the point where I just didn't believe in anything besides straight up 3D reality. I was now an atheist, and darn proud of my discovery that anything beyond the five senses was simply total bulls**t.(LOL)

So anyway, when we went and saw her still body laying there on the hospital bed at 3:00 A.M., I was absolutely floored by what I DIDN'T see. Her. True her body was laying right there, but mom was long gone. It was unmistakable, and it shook me to my core. It may have still taken some time for this to truly sink in, but I was already a different person leaving the hospital that night, then when I had entered.

I would reckon that to be a "miracle" of sorts, and what an unexpected last thing a mother could do for her son, while on her way to going to do other things. Thanks again mom!

    Cheers,
    Fred

Jeez Fred had to laugh with you once being the staunch Atheist!
Guess that was a turning point?
Wonderful how some of the most difficult times (assuming it was) can be catalysts for change!
    Similar to Conaire's experience

    Thanks..

A Spiritual Awakening in 2010 was IMO a miracle/divine intervention from the universe for me. Police Officers don't usually wake up, they remain asleep, a rare occurrence indeed.
Ditto WhiteFeather, that's why at times I'll notice a deep sleeper around me, and think "If it can happen to me, then it can happen to you".

So anyway, yeah, I made an energetic contact with the spirit of this planet a year or so ago. It lasted for around 15 extremely intense minutes, until it just became unbearable and I had to force myself to break it off. It was like being grabbed by electricity, and took every bit of my will to do this. It was so overwhelmingy powerful, that I couldn't help but weep for the rest of the day. I still do whenever I really think about it, it comes right back.

If she wants to let you know she's a fully conscious being, and that she's well in control of things, you had best hold onto your hat, because you're going for a ride.

    Cheers,
    Fred
Of all the things I have been able to read from you, Fred, this one told me more about you than all the rest combined. Thanks for sharing this. Chester
