The planets spiral around the sun in an elliptical manner. Similar to the scenario of looking at a circular racetrack where one will see cars moving left to right on the nearer side, while those on the far side have already turned, and appear to be driving backwards.
Or to put it differently, its to do with earth's movement around the sun. From where we are now in relation to the sun it looks as if the planets beyond are going backwards. There is nothing unusual about the present situation. What is unusual is the right angle between Uranus and Pluto, plus that many planets have shifted recently into different signs, and thus new energies are infusing our being, thoughts and emotions.

To be fair here, it's not only politicians. It's ordinary people, too. How many people get inside their car to go somewhere and then retrograde back into their house to retrieve another forgotten item.
It happens to me as well as others I know. Not only due to memory disfunction, but also the fact that life has become more complex and one is carrying around more gear.

I wonder if the planet has come up with a word (yet) for one such being. Yes, there are labels within which this talent is considered to be a component, but I know of no word for a "synchronicity specialist." Perhaps, if there is not one, it is time one is made? Any ideas?

Hi, Ulli. It is very important that it be understood here and now that what I am about to post is simply and only my own personal experience, my own personal path as to questions I asked myself regarding synchronicity and the answers I have received so far in my still incomplete exploration. The key point is "still incomplete" and a point to make about that is I do not want my investigation (as of now) ever to end.

I went through various stages in relation to synchronicity. The first stage was when I started to discover profound synchronicities that appeared to have meaning and I believed this was "god" talking to me. Not to jump ahead of where I want to go with this post, but I found that my original conclusion was either outright wrong or very incomplete.

I then went through a stage that I concluded synchronicity was simply "god" saying hello and confirming that "god" is there and I am metaphorically holding the hand of "god" when I am in sync and "god" is rewarding me (like patting a good dog on the head and giving the dog a hug) by providing me these wonderful confirmation experiences that something profound, something far beyond chance and something that has a personal component to it is being handed directly to me from what I can only describe as the Universe itself and perhaps some "master" behind it. Then came the rub. I had to deal with the specialness aspect of it. Why me? Why am I being gifted so often, so profoundly? The ego loved the dilemma as it had me firmly entrapped in the grips of its lowest "self."

Somehow though I survived this stage as well (and it was truly a close call). I liken this experience to that of a talented artist, actor, musician, etc. that even though they may have true talent, they cannot get past the stage fright. For comparison sake, I would call myself the Syd Barrett of synchronicity.

If you would like me to begin sharing my stories of synchronicity I am ready to do so. Be warned, many will not believe these stories. But it doesn't matter to me anymore who believes what as far as my ego is concerned. Be warned, some might start to conclude I might be offensively grand standing. If that situation arose, I would be happy to stop posting... not interesting in showing anyone up.

Perhaps I should do this in my own thread - that would probably be the wisest approach. I already have a title (suggested by a fellow member of Avalon) - "The Chester Show." The only requirement for admission is an attempt to check the ego at the door. Oooops, somehow I know just saying that has "egos" raising the DEFCON level to orange (Level 2)... Note I have my own DEFCON system and I use colors (like the terrorist alert system) - Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange and Red. Blue of course is the most peaceful level and red is... well red rhymes with dead so if we start to see the earth (or what remains of it) in our rear view mirror, we hit code red.

Anyways, now that my ramblings have quelled the self created storm and we find ourselves in green or blue... I will await any responses that might suggest if I should do this in a separate thread or instead in the village.

Tell me about it, Nora! Thanks for the astrology info you posted. I hadn't realized so many planets had gone retrograde. So I looked them up.

The retrograde planets are Neptune, Uranus, Chiron, and Jupiter.

I found a site with a calendar giving astrology transits, so we can look ahead and be prepared. These are transits for everyone, and are not related to your individual natal chart.

The trees are beginning to change, although lots of green still left. The dogwoods have turned their pale red color, so they are as easy to spot now as in the spring when they're covered with white blossoms.

The sky is pale blue through the tall pine trees outside my window. I love the evergreens, like friends who stay with us through the cold winter.

For dinner I'm making coconut milk soup and vegetable curry. And baking acorn squash, split open with a little butter dotted on. Here in the northern hemisphere, it's the season of soup and baked veggies.

Please share your synchronicity stories. I used to go to Syd Barret's house quite frequently, as I lived virtually next door in Long Acre, Covent Garden. Sids house was at 22, Earlham Street, London W.C.2. My then BF was a close friend of the Pink Floyd and several friends were crashing there, although by then Syd might have been already removed from the Floyd due to his psychotic behavior. Also the rest of the Floyd had made enough money by then to live in bigger and better abodes. The other Floyd hangers on crash-pad was right by South Kensington station.. Egerton Court, I used to stop there after college and ended up getting stoned with people like Storm Thurgerson the graphic designer who had designed many of the Floyd's album covers. Used to hear their stories about how Syd had gradually lost it, and went from crazy to aggressive to downright dangerous with advancing fame. So I never met any of them in person, just the artsy ground that hung around. Years later I had a brief fling with Arthur Max, who did their light shows, and who later went on to become the art director of the movie The Gladiator. Anyway, see what happens when you start dropping names...you might get back more than you thought you would. Just carry on. I enjoy my reminiscing...here and now.

Right now my babe is having a blast selling our crap in a garage sale. After convincing her that it did not mean it had to be in the actual garage, and taking all the crap outside, I have retreated from commerce--it is the weekend after all. When I'm fully awake and motivated, I will go make her happy, spending falls time with her and meeting the neighbors

In the meantime, I will contemplate just1 being syd Barrett, and ulli and the rest of avalon being just plain awesome

If its a choice between house and garage, garages are far better places to run a sale from. Unless you want to hold it out on the front lawn.

Yes I like Dalida's singing. She had a strange life. Born in Cairo, Egypt, from Italian parents, she becomes Miss Egypt in 54. She goes to France to sing in a competition and is noticed. The strangest part is that out of six or seven long term boyfriend, 4 suicided, from closed friends a few suicided as well. She was thinking she brought bad luck to those around her. She finally ended up her own life through suicide as well.

She went out for a while with Arnaud Desjardins, a spiritual writer, who was married at the time. Some also gives her a liaison with François Mitterand, French President, which she always denied, saying he was just a dear friend.

This is a song of hers about love of a woman for an 18 years old guy, true story, she got pregnant from him and got an abortion in Italy, butch abortion from which she became sterile.

On the subject of things that make me sick, I am also allergic to cat-licked cat fur (evict the cat?), dust mite excreta hence carpets (got none) and vacuum cleaners (try to do other chores), all kinds of pollen (live by the seaside), and more recently nuts (stop eating?). Why are nuts in absolutely everything ever since people have started developing allergies to the things? I was in a UK supermarket a while back and more than half of the grocery section carried health warnings!
And why can't we be allergic to things we don't like? This is the sort of area that gets conspiracies theorists a good name

Aww, now I am caught up enough in village happenings to not feel lost in the conversations. Had to take a break for a few days and put into action my newly acquired awareness to my domestic endeavors. Though I may not have been active, the village has remained always in my thoughts. It's strange how quickly for me this community has become that friend that stays with you regardless of how much you are actively communicating...you know you are always there for each other, ready to pick up where you left off last...I have never encountered that feeling with any online or virtual community. And there are very few people in my life I would even consider capable of having that type of relationship with. There is something very special about this little internet nook indeed....perhaps this is like a bridge into how we will relate too others as we go through the transition into next phase of our planet's existence.??????

I had no intention to write that when I began this post...and it serves me as another affirmation of how rapidly my consciousness is evolving.

Synchronicity, very interesting topic...there have been many moments during my life that I notice it occurring when I'm on path to the next...seeing it again now. Despite all the trauma and pain my family has endured surrounding the sociopathic behaviors of my husband..I know it was part of the " plan" . One glaring example of synchronicity occurred when I was pregnant with my son. My husband and I were engaged to be married 6/25/05. We were both in graduate school and I was told that I would have a hard time getting pregnant due to endometriosis. To alleviate my symptoms they were going to give me injections to make me menopausal for nine months. By the time insurance had approved them I was going to the pharmacy to get prenatals....lol. My due date was our wedding date....haha, well luckily the dress was bought and fit for the wedding we pushed up to the winter solstice instead. And there were several other significant timings prior to that with my husband and I so i never doubted that we were supposed to be together.....

And today, I can honestly say that I am grateful for this year. Despite all the loss and heartache I have found my authentic self and feel a sense of peace I have not felt since my youth...I am more confident in where I should focus my energy. I know that I am right where I need to be. I know momentary flares of fear are still going to crop up; however, the overriding feeling is trust.

1inmany, you are at a good place, even though it feels like anything but....it's the storm before the rainbow. You are missing your old self, grieving for this person you right now see as a better form of yourself...This is the moment you recognize you are not the same as before; in fact, you are changed and getting your bearings with the new version is let's face it, darned uncomfortable...but I promise once you get to know her and recognize her accomplishments and the strength she possesses compared to old version ...well let's say there will be not comparison. That's how it has felt for me and I get a very strong impression it is similar for you.

Alright , I will try to edit later, my phone is really lagging and making writing this post almost impossible...combined with two kids very anxious to rip the guts out of their orange headed pal Jack o'Lantern, I better close this and come back .....lol.

Yesterday afternoon I was teaching my 3 year old grandson to skip rocks...he like tossing them much better and kept pointing to the 'circles' the rocks made in the water. So we started tossing them, one after another...talked about how the ripples went out from each rock hitting the water...and how the many ripples interacted with each other.

Last night after telling my husband about our water play and JoJo's fascination with the ripples, it came to mind that our own vibrations ripple out to affect others and boom! here comes Jerry's tune playing in my mind...all night...awoke with it still playing. Thought if I passed it on, maybe just maybe it would stop....no such luck...still playing...

Nanoo was at the end "fired" on the Dexter's casting. His eyes were too "human". Then We start working on a "meditation screenplay" by "The Meditation Man". DNA said Yes in two weeks ( he was working on Mount Shasta.... shastonians was the ...password). So Paramount Pictures had to mix Nanoo, Dna, St. Germain, Telos ....and tantric juice.

The casting agent never saw my eyes ... i was wearing a helmet . He asked me to take it off but i said i was shy .. he thought this would eventually lead to problems on set. Shame really , i had the bacon and eggs scene nailed ... hmmm
