I trust that German speakers can verify that the Hitler in the movie is not actually saying whatever those subtitles say.

Bill, Thanks for the video of the fat cat misjudging distance and his ability to get there. It makes the most sense in this thread. Goodness Knows how much a good laugh fits the Bill. I even sent Post #67 to my son.

Well, the cat looks like he judged the distance about right but he clearly slipped -- both of which can be a hindrance -- either just not initially judging things properly, or a simple unintended slip, both can cause us to equally miss our mark ... my 2 cents

You're Right! I didn't think I could laugh any more seeing the cat miss it's mark. Seeing this detail I missed the first times I laughed again. The mid-air wobble from the hind legs tells the tale.... Who knows where he landed or how. Next time he'll put all four paws on the edge of the ledge to get solid traction....if he chooses to jump again. Thanks.

Rather than add another post to this thread, I'll edit in a comment here. Note that I did not attack Maia or call her names. Some of you have inferred that I did. I clearly stated that the topic was what I was talking about. This might have been an interesting topic in the 15th century, but not in the 21st. In addition to the observational calculations that could even be made by an astute observer (such as Copernicus) 600 years ago, here in the 21st century, there are hundreds of thousands (maybe millions) of images of the Earth from space, from vantage points all around the globe. If anyone wants to believe that this is the greatest conspiracy in history (for what reason the co-conspirators might have, I have no clue) or that it is valid other than as philosophical word-play (like an individual telling another individual, "we are all one"), or "reality is just an illusion, so this might be true" or "who knows, anything might be correct", well, please don't let me stop you.

My forum police badge was only an illusion too (and it was made of one-dimensional quantum energy), so I'll leave it on Bill's desk and back away slowly. If thread topics of this caliber become the norm around Avalon, I will disintegrate into the void.

Maia, please don't let anyone convince you that you've been personally attacked (though I have) - this topic has been scoffed at, not you.

Why? Like Maia (I assume), I don't believe the earth is flat but how do I/you know? I've never been up in space to see the earth in it's full glory and fly a circle around her. Have you Dennis? Can you please prove to me the earth is round Dennis? We believe it's round because someone else told us to believe it. Who told them? As far as I know the only people who have access to the machinery necessary to view the earth from space are military organizations that are known liars or ET's that aren't knocking on my door asking if I want a ride. You know, thanks, but I see things on Avalon that I find ridiculous and I don't want to ridicule anyone and try to prevent it. I may present my own arguments against it, strongly sometimes, but I want every point of view on the table. Even if you think it's crazy. Just calling something embarrassing is not an argument against it.

I find it ironic that many people refer to 9/11 truth, evidence of ET's and many other topics that are normal by Avalon standards as "embarrassing" also. I have family members that think I'm embarrassing because I believe someone is spraying the sky and poisoning vaccines.
