Happy new years eve, solstice,21st and the like....

Sitting here drinking a sam adams winter lager, with the non stop winds since last night... and snow flyhing all over the place... Not enjoying the weather, but the brews help...

Wondering whats next... Never planed past today, cause I figured it would b a whole new world no matter what happened... so im feeling kinda not knowing if I should keep on keeping on with what i'v been doing in life, or start looking larger or under different rocks...if any of that makes sense... peace

Projecting meaning at stuff leads to action, which create some kind of spiritual substance in us.
So while the old system says everything is random and meaningless, believing this to be true will lead to one type of mentality....
And if one projects deep meaning at all aspects of life and even it's synchronicities this will lead to an entirely different outlook and subsequent set of impulses, compulsions and actions.
And those are the types of actions they will help us build virtues.
Other than our virtues there is nothing that we can take with us when we leave.

And seeing synchronicities in numbers and events will automatically lead to an increase in our level of wonderment, which I consider as one of the highest virtues of all.

Years ago I heard someone play what I thought was called a glass harp.

Thanks to Calz for posting a video of two people playing "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies" on the glass harp in the Re: 12-21-12 last day of 3rd Dimension, what beer should I choose... thread....

and realizing what I had seen was not called a glass harp...I went on a search and found it...

its actually called a glass armonica...invented by Ben Franklin.

Oh, I love that kind of stuff. I've been watching some, er Robot Chicken stuff on yootoob as of late. Some of it is pretty crass, but some of it is really funny stuff. There are some real jems hiding in there.

Like 'Santa Royale', which is a complete take off from the opening sequence of Casino Royale.

edit: just saw this one, for the first time. it's a bit culture specific. 'top comment, 'even teddy ruxpin has standards'
