I am competing with the crown jewels, in my chosen field.

I am on the verge of having that happen. In the beginning stages of having that be 'figured out' by the given masses, in this given field.

Such a big change I'm offering, that the big stick in everyone's mental craw, that they can't seem to swallow...is the act of coming to the realization that there is going to be a field wide 'before...and after', in the field.

That I will be the one who created, and made it happen. That I wholly own the entire episode and situation. Irrevocably so. This added aspect of crowbaring it into being, is the part that people don't really know is happening, but as they accept the situation.... this is what is actually going on.

Just having a bit of fun. A person has to have a hobby.

for me, those sort of places feel quite a bit like the Asian tour bus waking moment. Alien.

Until a bit of ego stroking and a few rums get under my belt. Of course. Part of the problem.

Such places are perfect for a world..that has no problems.

Until the world has not any problems, then all I see in such places... is something akin to blood dripping off everything...and the totally unaware (or purposely ignorant) people living in the middle of it.

I love such places but the guilt they bring me - makes them highly uncomfortable to be in.

it reminds me, as opposites go.. of an interview done with the elder Walton family member, when he was still alive. The wal mart family clan, the elder, the creator of it all.

He drove around on his farm, with an old pick up truck, with rusted out fender wells as a +billionare. He would not replace it, the truck worked fine. too much money to buy a new one. He understood value for money, which is why he was so effective in creating walmart- in the first place.

His kids, of course, where ridiculously spoiled, but also had the same genetics as he. Very smart, sharp, and clever intellect, with the drive to push on things, relentlessly. and they are starting from a life of enormous wealth and privilege, so you can see how his kids turned out: BAD.

No perspective ..but..the same drive engine. A recipe for disaster.

That's exactly what happened to me when I was living there. Of course initially I went for the ego stroking, but then I got struck by the big picture.
And while I was living there (right on that same beach, next door to that $2000 a night hotel)
I changed course. I had to join the 99%, there was no other way...
much to the dismay of my former in-laws.

And when I came to live here in Costa Rica I knew there was no way that my former friends
would ever understand me for giving up the high life, and the stylishness that comes with that.

The ugliness of poverty takes a bit of getting used to, especially in a third world country like Costa Rica,
even low class Barbados is wealthy by comparison...

But when prosperity hits all equally, there will still be people with bad and vulgar taste,
enjoying their gadgets in their way...
and thats when I will return to places of real beauty...no guilt either...
feeling rich or poor will then only come from one's inner condition, not from how much money one has.

I've also had that exact thing happen.... when we get hit by a big solar flare. Just for a few seconds...

this past summer, we where hit by an x class flare. it was midafternoon, where I'm at -when it hit. I was in a parking lot, I had just opened the drivers door on my car. As I reached out to get into the car, the flare hit.

In that moment I had no idea who or what I was, what a car was, what anything was ..nothing, nothing nothing.... for about 1.5 seconds. The only thought I could form was, "gosh hope this passes, or things might get a bit strange..." (and that was more of an internal grunt, which formed into the idealization of a thought, after the passing of the flare peak)

Hmmm...I just experienced that while taking in(my way) one of the most beautiful sunsets on a south central beach of the Cape while walking Purdy girl : )
That 'internal grunt' with me is happening more often in the larynx vicinities and tantalizing and vibrating upward...
interesting, and well, 'highly' invigorating : )

I've taken the highest level of physics and built it into a 'normal' looking device, that conforms to the given field's devices..and the job of this, is to do that given thing, better than any other device in the field. to bring joy of human existence to people as best as it can be brought (within the capacity of such emotions to be brought to people via that method). And, to have that evoked from within, by the basking in the beauty and bounty of what is presented.

I'm reminded of the device from the Philip K Dick novel 'Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?' where you can dial up any mood you like, it was called 'The Mood Organ'.

This one's quite funny, if you dial an 888 you get "The desire to watch TV, no matter what's on it".

EDIT: I know that's different, I'm more OCD.

I tend to recognize numbers for their numerological value. Especially the 2 and 3 digit numbers. I have an 8 birthpath with 2 and 6 being the composite numbers. So, when setting the volume in a car, for instance, I look to pick numbers that are a 2,6 or 8. So a volume of 17 rather than 16 has to be it. Although 15 and 20 also work in that volume range. Even when I but things, I always look to try and get one that has the cornerstone letter as one of my three. I do not get stuck, but I pay constant attention to this and feel much better about things that I feel/perceive a resonance with.
