"In the first half, journalist and filmmaker Rich Martini shared revelations about the afterlife, as well as his extensive research uncovering the fate of Amelia Earhart. Known as the first female pilot to fly solo across the Atlantic in 1932, and for breaking various flying records, Earhart was a world famous figure when she disappeared during a flight in 1937 on her way to Howland Island, a tiny island in the Pacific. Through his interviews of various eyewitnesses, Martini concluded that Earhart and her co-pilot Fred Noonan safely landed on sand, but were captured and brought to the island of Saipan where they were imprisoned by the Japanese (who may have suspected they were spies). Just three weeks ago, Martini traveled to Saipan (now an unincorporated territory of the US), and said he filmed an interview with an 86-year-old woman, named Josephine Blanco Akiyama who reported seeing Earhart on the island in 1937. "I found at least 17 new eyewitnesses," Martini added. He believes that Earhart was executed by Japan after the US shelled Saipan in 1942.

Martini has culled much of his information about the afterlife through hypnotic sessions, where sometimes spirit guides come through and proffer details. In one case, a spirit guide described the universe as a sentient mechanism, but that humans lack the physical capacity to comprehend God, though they can experience aspects of God by having an open heart. While the spirits of the deceased have moved into another realm, Martini noted they remain accessible for contact. Martini is the conference chairman of The Afterlife Convention being held in Santa Monica this September, a gathering that will explore the scientific evidence for life after death with various speakers.

Appearing during the third hour, Prof. James McCanney presented updates on comets and extreme weather. In regards to the severe, record breaking winter this year, followed by the monstrous tornado in Oklahoma-- "weather doesn't just happen, it's energy personified-- that energy comes from some place," he remarked. It turns out there has been a strong electrical connection with the planet Saturn that could be the source of the energy affecting Earth's weather, McCanney posited. Regarding the comets of this year, Comet Lemmon's green color is from the electrical current passing through it, he said. He wondered why ISON is predicted to be the "comet of the century" when it's nucleus is said to be only 2 kilometers across.

The last hour of the show featured Open Lines, and a brief conversation with Richard C. Hoagland."

The validation study suggested the NW area quake would have already damaged Clif's house by the 26th and Courtney's group picked up on the "event" as being prior to June 1st.

Just had Two 5.7 earthquakes just north of Sacramento near Lassen Volcanic National Park.

There was only one 5.7 quake, not two. It was followed by a swarm of 10 smaller quakes, mostly in the six hours following.

As seen in the list of Northern California quakes below from EMSC, the 5.7 received 58 reader comments, and the 4.8 got 1 reader comment. The other smaller quakes generated no comment.

The epicenter was about 150 miles from the nearest Pacific coast, 180 miles from San Francisco, and 200 miles from San Jose. The epicenter was not along the most dangerous fault lines that run along or near the coast.

The claim of two 5.7 quakes, allowing the reader to confuse the location of these quakes with the more dangerous coastal fault lines, and the claim of a major plate fracture and something HUGE going down ... strike me as fear mongering, not accurate reporting.

Planetary alignment peaks with celestial show this weekend

(Reuters) - Venus and Jupiter, the two brightest planets in the sky this month, will be joined by tiny Mercury for a rare celestial show this weekend.

Typically, Venus, the second-closest planet to the sun, and Jupiter, which orbits beyond Mars, are tens of millions of miles apart. But they have been cycling together while moving ever closer to each other this month, joined by the innermost planet Mercury.

The celestial show peaks on Sunday when the trio will appear as a bright triangle of light in the western sky beginning about 30 minutes after sunset.

Triple conjunctions are relatively rare, according to NASA. The last one was in May 2011 and the next one will not occur until October 2015.

"This triple is especially good because it involves the three brightest planets in May's night sky," the U.S. space agency said on its website.

The formation should be visible even in places with bright city lights, though a clear view of the western horizon is a must.

Astronomers suggest sky-watchers let Venus and Jupiter be their guide. As the sky darkens the planets will be visible to the naked eye.

"They really do shine so brightly that you might mistake them for one or two approaching airplanes with their landing lights turned on," the University of Texas' StarDate magazine wrote on its website.

On Sunday, Mercury forms the top of the triangle. By Monday, Venus and Jupiter will be side by side, less than 1 degree apart.

"After that, Venus and Mercury will continue to climb higher into the evening sky, while Jupiter drops toward the sun," said StarDate.

The term 'Up at the Ranch' (which i specifically coined to title this thread)... Was conceived through a realization processing experienced while visiting the Eceti Ranch here in Trout Lake back in June 2010 ... The phrase (in a metaphorically spiritual way) refers to a higher state of mind and heart that totally engrosses me while being there and pretty much all the time now while living up here in Trout Lake ...

It is the kind of heartfelt energy i wish to provide and sustain for everyone who visits and shares here ...

"Filling in for George Noory, George Knapp welcomed UFO disclosure activist, Stephen Bassett, for a discussion on the Citizen Hearing on Disclosure and how close we are from finally being told the truth about extraterrestrials engaging the planet. He praised the amount of positive press the hearing generated, noting in particular a piece in The New York Times. Bassett said he hoped coverage of the annual event would create a chain reaction, stirring newspapers to dig deeper into the issue and perhaps even triggering a Congressional hearing. The historically low approval ratings for Congress might be substantially improved if they honestly looked into the events and evidence, he suggested.

Bassett stated unequivocally that he thinks the collective body of proof clearly points to an extraterrestrial intelligence behind UFO-related sightings. Phenomena such as unknown craft traveling at 10,000-15,000 mph in the 1940s and numerous encounters with alien-looking beings simply cannot be explained by human activity, he proposed. There have been over one million written accounts over the last 25 years of direct interaction with extraterrestrials, he noted. In addition, Bassett believes there is technology within military black programs that has been derived directly from alien technology. He also commented on several witness accounts presented at the hearing, including a gripping deathbed video testimony by an alleged former CIA official. Filmmaker Jeremy Corbell, appearing briefly in the third hour, spoke about the 15-minute clip in which the anonymous agent talks about his experiences dealing with aliens, their craft and a government cover-up.

The remainder of the program was devoted to Open Lines."
