    Sloths.
They don't run, ever, but glide. Actually, they can get up to some speed, considering how slow their movements are.
I took this picture in my sister-in-law's garden.

Sweet! They don't make good pets though, I bet

Ness' told me how her people in Ecuador, the uptown class, put everything in a cage down there, little monkeys and squirrels and such. She said at the grocery or wherever as a prize for the kids they gave away baby chicks they dyed bright colors

So what happened when they grew up, you had a bunch of chickens running around? You couldn't eat your pet could you?

No we just let them go.

...same with the monkeys or anything that peed on them or they got tired of.

It has been quite an undertaking in teaching her my standards of responsibility of "owning" a pet (that's technically what it is, but to me, it is adding a member to the family)

Very, very difficult to leave my garden today. It felt so good to be there.

Watered, weeded, harvested (basil, tomatoes, cucumbers, kale, lettuce, beets, broccoli) and ate a little bit of fresh stuff (carrots, and tomatoes.) I so wish I could share the experience with all of you - with all of humanity. For a few hours (not from suppressing any thoughts, but rather from being immersed), there was no government, no wars, no starvation, no homelessness, no oppression, no suffering - only abundance.

I think it is good to stop and consciously focus on this feeling, to better articulate that which I would like to spread outward until the entire Earth and all her inhabitants know this feeling.

    Dennis

Thank you for this, you are speaking to my heart! If only this feeling could be bundle up and tied with a big bow and given freely, this world would be a better place.

Thank you so much for the early morning laugh! My sleep schedule is all messed up so I'm up for no apparent reason. Laughter is always good. I always wonder how these politicians actually talk to each other away from the public eye, and I can only imagine what they don't say that they're thinking. That is, if they're thinking at all. Mind control being what it is and all. I so missed having a garden this year and am truly envious of everyone that is reaping the summers rewards. We are moving ahead with our little aquaponics operation though. We should have the grow bed attached to the fish tank by the end of the month. So, maybe I'll get a few fresh salad greens this winter. And, best of all, we just picked up a free (off Craig's List!)15' x 42" intex swimming pool for next year! For our fish of course.

    Greetings,
I Woke up a while ago to the busy sound of bees only to discover about a dozen or so flying around in my room. Last week I was stung by one in the middle of the night. When I get up my nerve I will go back and open my windows to see if they will leave. This happened last year too. But then it was hornets and now they are yellow jackets. I can smell fall in the air so I know soon it will become cold and they will immobilize. May have to sleep on the couch if I can't figure out how they are getting in!

Ps- my fiery redhead daughter has some very feline qualities. This morning after a hissy outburst of hers I checked this thread and saw ulli's post about the solar flare. That explains it! She greeted me this morning with the human equivalent of a swipe and a "reeeerrrr!" Now she is curled up on the couch with the sun on her back. I take that as a sign she needs to be left alone and not bombarded with positive energy! LOL!

    Have a good day!

Default Re: Here and Now...What's Happening?

Woke at 2:00 am with yet another backache that drove me out of bed. I think it has been 3 full weeks since I clumsily fell. Now, I wish I had been drunk - I would not have been injured. I believe the injury is a result of very quickly whipping my body around, trying desperately to catch myself and keep from falling. A drunk would have just fallen. So, this makes 3 weeks of only getting a short sleep before being awakened by back pain. Very odd that laying down does not work - sitting up does (but it has to be fully upright, not slouched on a pile of pillows.) Sleeping sitting fully upright is hard on the neck - and not very restful.

One of the things I've tried is capsaicin cream (made from hot peppers.) Have any of you ever tried that stuff? 'twas a new experience for me. I had my wife rub in a big blob (maybe half a tablespoon) into my lower back - I gave her a piece of plastic wrap to use, to keep it off her fingers. It absorbed quickly into my skin, so I had her rub another blob in about the same size. A few minutes later, the heat started building. The next 24 hours was a comedy routine. (Cutting to the chase, I'd say that was about 8 times too much capsaican cream.) Far beyond my worst sunburn (Irish tan) or the hottest shower, my back was on fire - almost to the point where you could roast marshmallows over it. Several HOURS later, I decided to actually read the directions on the cream, to get an idea how many more hours the fire would last until it went out so I could fall asleep. Unfortunately, the directions said, "a slight burning sensation may occur upon application but generally disappears in several days." SEVERAL DAYS! You have got to be kidding me!

Desperate for relief from the muscle spasms that I thought were causing the back pain, I decided to leave it on, mind-over-matter, and crawled into bed with a T-shirt, and somehow (exhaustion, probably) did fall asleep. The next morning (I think I slept until 5:00 am, an accomplishment), the fire had dropped in intensity. Now, maybe a 5 out of 10, where it had been a 7 the night before.

Over the next hours, there were intermittent times that the burning sensation became so mild that I pretty much forgot about it - it had worn off, or was wearing off. Whew!

A few hours later (now closing in on at least 18 hours after application) I had to drive a car. The contact between the car seat back and my back must have reactivated it, and it went from the previous marshmallow-roasting hot to the kind of heat used to melt steel in a metal foundry. I am amazed there was not smoke rising. The pain of a chemical burn was now officially worse than the pain of the back injury. This sh!t had to come off! Having read the package (finally!), I knew not to put hot water on it, so I tried warm water in the shower - and that pulled a reflexive howl of pain from me. Cold shower, lots of soap (shampoo) on a washcloth, scrubbing it off... and the fire was greatly quenched. A couple of hours later and I only had the back pain to deal with, not the deep back pain plus a chemical burn on the surface. A day later, I felt the capsaicin start to activate AGAIN - not to the extent of pain but enough to underscore the word DAYS on the package label.

Thank god I wasn't treating torsion of the testicles with capsaicin.

(By the way, I wrote this using hyperbole for a humorous description. Even though the heat captured all of my attention at times, I have no delusions that this pain compares with what millions of people endure daily. Just a humorous anecdote in the here and now.)

    Dennis

Since I found a natural way to detox from mercury (thanks Paul ) (25 years with 9 fillings, now removed), which includes the absence of sugar and wheat's and lots of fermented vegetables to enable the gut to be free of irritations and or inflammations, so the mercury can be removed with the help of boosted glutathione levels and 50 chlorella pills per day.

I think I'm hooked for life on the fermenting thingy .

(By the way, I wrote this using hyperbole for a humorous description. Even though the heat captured all of my attention at times, I have no delusions that this pain compares with what millions of people endure daily. Just a humorous anecdote in the here and now.)

Poor Dennis. This reminds me of when I had shingles.

I believe you are being prepared by the higher powers for the time when your Reset Button will be used and you will then be in the driver's seat of political life and will have to deal with dissidents. Hopefully you will have compassion with them, knowing what it feels like to suffer torture.

    Good morning, Village

Feels good to be back to my old self. Nothing like a good dose of 3d, I always say. Okay, I don't always say that, in fact I don't think I've ever said it. But, it certainly applies, so I might always say it now.

Went to a football game last night, two very long hours away. We lost, 45 to 0. I noticed that not too many people shared my appreciation for the humor of it all.

Absolutely beautiful drive, hills and pine trees...huge expanses of earth exposed...pastures that look truly like elite golf courses, only better because they are naturally there. I love driving on roads that are lined with mature trees and woods, I send grateful feelings out to them. I wonder if they are absorbing all the negative energy from the many drivers that pass them. They must, because it feels so good to travel where they stand so tall and strong.

    Have a great day

    Much Love,
Life is a road we don't travel alone. But everyone's on their own journey home.

I am so sorry Dennis, I am ashamed to say you provided me with the second big laugh of the morning only because I have been there, although not to that extreme, many years ago. I liked what Ulli had to say though. I always try to make sense of some particularly horrible experience, if nothing else than to say I won't do that again. Thankfully I've never had shingles.

Thanks Nat_Lee and Spiritwind for describing your experiences. I did not sleep at all last night until I finally took a nap at 6 a.m. Very unusual.

I was saying this morning that I felt lots of energy and I feel all out of sorts. I don't have a home or a garden, but I'm going to volunteer to help weed a garden today. I'm feeling working with Ma Earth will help ground this energy.

The sun flare thing makes sense, Ulli. I've noticed I get "energy surges" and then find out about them. I knew I was feeling global energies, but I thought it was the events that are taking place and the energy around them. It's probably both.

I'm trying to stay focused on my life's purpose of serving using my gifts. I've done several amazing intuitive readings, some just spontaneous on the spot, that have blown a few people away. I need to make money now, but I'd like to do it by selling books and doing intuitive readings. I just put a new ad on my website for readings - www.smile4love.com. It is tempting to "just go get a job" like all my naysayers encourage me to do, but my guidance is to stay focused on my life's purpose and don't worry about money. (I'd like to tell my guides right here -- sure! you can say that...you don't have expenses to pay! LOL)

I have to reschedule a book signing that was canceled, so I feel like I'm starting all over again in that regard. I feel very up in the air with my whole life. I'm very free, but packed with potential.

Going to eat breakfast and get to gardening for energy processing. :-)

    Healing love to all...

    Love,
    Michelle Marie
