Here and Now...What's Happening?

Well hello dear villagers. Just a thought that came to my mind... I always wondered that how I adopted english language so fast as a child without ever reading any english books. I only watched english movies and played games. Well, I quite recently learned that I was an american decades ago and that explains soo many things, lol. I've never been to America in this current life, but I have "memories" from many places there. Been to so many places before that I just can't consider myself anything else as... a citizen of the universe. I just had to share this epiphany.

M went to the Gay Pride parade in Dallas today. She cannot understand why anyone cares about sexual orientation. And she is downright joyous about the experience. No protestors, and the police that were there were giving out high fives and carrying supportive signs. Men and women were carrying signs that said "I'm proud of my gay son/daughter." She was so moved.

She said she has never felt this kind of vibe in her life. Acceptance and peace...and love.

Just seconds before going to the forum i said to myself "to give is more satisfying than to recieve...and then i thought...no they are equally so...and i find this video, made me cry...just came from celebrating my best friends birthday, double virgo, moon in pisces...omg! And now i see the village has had a birthday party??? When was that?

What day was the birthday party for the village?

Yesterday, September 14th.
All of the last eight or nine pages was Here and Now birthday party.

Thanks ulli, that adds one more sync for me since then i was on the train to Gothenburg and could not attain my sisters sons birthday on the 14:th (Prince Daniels birthday also, the personal trainer and husband of Swedish princess Victoria, our next queen)

My life is somewhat chaotic at the moment, i will join the party later...

Hello village people!

It is Monday and on my second cup of coffee. I can't keep up with all of you so I want to give a BIG THANKS in the most heart felt way for all of your insightful contributions.

I am feeling better today as far as my arm is concerned. Dennis reminded me of the benefits of an electrical charge pulsating through your body. A number of years ago (I think I got the idea here on Avalon) my husband built a device with parts from Radio Shack and 1" copper discs from the internet. Total cost less than $20. I was able to find it again and with the combination of heat and ice I am ready to get back to it! Typing is much easier this morning too.

Friday I went shopping with my two daughters and grand daughter. Tried to carry a 3 year old on my back and that sent me over the top after a month of digging and buck sawing rhododendrons down. This by hand stuff can be brutal on the muscles and bones. Anyway shopping at a mall is no longer my thing. My grand son's birthday is next weekend and he wants more Legos. Now I don't mind Legos but when a child is going to have to move out of his room because he has so many, how many Lego sets does on need? I did not realize that a only Lego store existed. My husband said he visited some in England when he was a child.

Saturday I pick up my grand daughter for an overnight while her parents went to a wedding. I do not remember going to as many weddings as they do. I would have gone bankrupt. The guy had two bachelor parties!!!! I am not much of a partier. I do remember a few wedding showers and baby showers where the grandmother attended. More my speed. Weddings have become a drinking occasion in my son-in-law and daughter's life. I was glad to have help from hubby and my 23 year old son with taking care of a demanded 3 year old. She is a ray of sunshine. While in Target she announce that her mother's butt crack stinks. Curtesy of her soon to be 8 year old cousin. Enough of my ramblings

Haha! Oh my! Kids say the darndest things and mine takes things literally and sometimes gets them misconstrued. While travelling yesterday she was telling me about a story she read called, 'Ain't I Woman' a young mother's account of struggling for women's rights. Then she says, "We have come along way. At least we don't have to stretch out over puddles anymore and make a bridge for the men to walk over!" I assured her women did not nose dive into puddles to save men's Italian shoes as far as I knew. I giggled till I had tears and told her I thought she was confusing this with a story of men laying their coats over puddles in a gentlemanly manner. She replied, "No I am sure this was a story about us getting walked all over. Women were bridges and they got walk over by men." I ask, "do you mean a doormat?" Still giggling. "Anyone can be a doormat, it is when you get taken for granted and you don't stand up for your rights."

EDIT to add- It was only when she mentioned that old song that I realized how she got all of these connected and misconstrued. What a hoot!

Her reply, "Well I'll never be anyone's doormat or their bridge over troubled water. I don't like getting stepped on!"

Is it the intellect in the body... or the coloration of the box that the incarnated occupy? When does this childhood...end?

I've been working hard to change myself, so that it would not be attracted to me any more, however no matter what I do, how much responsibility I take, I can't sever the last bits of attachment to me.

Any wizards out there capable of helping a brother out, I'd greatly appreciate it...
