Yup...what he is taking is generic adderall. Makes people like me (& him) feel fantastic, energetic, and able to tackle a day of drudgery...and is as addictive as anything you can imagine.

I always spout on about how these things (anti-depressants as well) can be a useful emergency tool, if you have great counseling, desire to work hard at dealing with your issues, and respect the fact they are a horrible and powerful poison, at best a bandaid, that you are gonna have your work cut out for you to get out of the dependency.

With LOTS of support and counseling and because of the piles of crap i had to deal with, they helped me keep my job when I was at the lowest point in my life--but I was hyper-aware of the fact I was playing with fire...and got off them the first chance.

I took half the lowest prescribable dose (for children, even), and it was not pleasant getting off (and I kicked booze and cigs, so like to think of myself as above average in ability to kick addictions)...I imagine (from the picture) they gave you some kind of (30mg, maybe?) time release? That's waaaaay too much.

hi Provolon, I am not an indigo or alien of any sort, but I can relate with a lot of what you've written.

just practically speaking, I may have some tips. the wanting to get away from everything and everyone is usually a result of not having the strength or power to deal with it all. and you are clearly fatigued!

some new-age techniques are alright, but when it comes to resurrecting a terminally fatigued body they won't do sh!t. they generally have no practical benefits whatsoever. sure, positive thinking will help some, but it sounds to me like you require a nutritional overhaul.

Ribose powder is wonderful. that alone might work miracles for you. when used with coenzyme q10, carnitine and magnesium, resurrections take place. diet is important, of course, but while you're trying to work out which is best for you, I enthusiastically suggest taking these super-nutrients. it'll cost you a few bucks, but I don't think you can afford *not* to take them.

the spirit can only do what the body will let it. many people will say you are not your body, you are only your spirit. it sounds nice, but the second you become terminally ill you realize that it's the stupidest sh!t you've ever heard. you are both, of course. your spirit is clearly a unique one, one that deserves to express itself to its fullest potential. drugs are but a Band-Aid, and I very rarely think they are required ( though I would not judge you one bit if you took them, if they indeed offer you relief. but I would strongly encourage you to try every other option in the book first!). i'd also encourage you to think pragmatically here; doing useless sh!t like putting rare stones on your chakra points and chanting to the moon on a solstice will get you nowhere. take it from me. please consider my recommendations. those supplements will change your life.

[] Ribose powder, coenzyme q10, carnitine and magnesium - where do you recommend me to buy them?

Only what you say sounds familiar to me, what I went through in my late teens and early 20's. I couldn't get enough sleep, I could sleep all day but still be exhausted.

I wasnt depressed but I had no enthusiasm for anything. I was so tired I would feel physically sick at the thought of getting out of bed. Its like the lights we're on but no-one was home, constantly!

After some years due to other health issues I had some tests done. Basically my thyroid was useless. I went onto replacement thyroxine. After a month I was back to who I should have been.

It might not be the same situation for you, but maybe its worth ruling it out first? I agree amphets are a vicious circle, try not to go there if you can.

    Sending you positive thoughts Provolon

That's the initial plan I have, had, just to conserve my job, breath, have energy to go to the gym, being able to talk to somebody, if I didn't have this 'pill' I wouldn't be talking here with you, just closed all pc windows, and go out of my desk to walk and keep asking God, Higher self, law of attraction, to get better... but no energy to read lots of letters on people's posts

    they gave me 20 ml

for the record, I also believe in supplemental nutrition, superfoods, raw foods. I have no idea which ones helped me I just loaded up and took as many as I could. chinese herbs, cacao, goji berries, raw salads every day, brazil nuts, seaweeds. also you might consider reading this

pretty much any health food store, my friend. if you must go thru the net, vitamin warehouse has very good prices. just scan their inventory.

'Now' brand ribose is the cheapest, and works just as good as anything else. I also take 'Now' l-carnitine, and 'Now' magnesium malate. they also make a good coq10, but I prefer the 'ActiveLife' brand...but that's just me.

sorry for the dumb question, but what harm can those drugs do?

Spiritual? or body? the withdrawal effects? chacras? permanent damage in the mind?
You have to think of them as damaging all of them immensly, every time you take it--big pharma will never tell you the whole story.

If you don't respect it's power, it WILL control you--it was gross to see the people my ex would sell my extras to...assume that is where you will be--fix your sh!t and get off them immediately if you are going to continue at all...

Hi Provolon :-), maybe you should talk to your doctor about the concerns you have about Adderall. I bet he could prescribe something that isn't an amphetamine. I know we all like to avoid pharmaceuticals but I really think sometimes the medicine can be helpful. Feel better Provolon!! Brenda :-)

Hello, provolon! It is good that you are sharing what bothers you.
I am joining the team of Avalonians saying "NO" to the chemical drugs. I also can share from experience that you indeed may suffer from some hormonal / mineral balance disturbance. I lived up to 36 to discover I have a thyroid problem, like my mother. And I have felt just as you are feeling to a point where I did something quite stupid. But I had someone to watch over me so now I am feeling much better.

I can suggest to add also maca root powder + cinnamon powder + turmeric to your diet. Especially maca. And also try to keep your blood sugar leveled without any peaks or lows.
    You may find this interesting:
Hope you get better really soon!

Any pharmie is bad bad bad...and 20 from the gate is scary--I was taking 5 at a time twice a day...paying attention to how it felt as I took it, putting off as long as possible the next one. They don't like to give out non-time release (cuz people snort it easier) but I think you need to switch if you are going to take that route bro...and like everyone is saying, try the natural road first.

The absolute worst thing about phramies is being overprescribed--I tried a time release one once and it put me in another universe--you got start slow and pay really really careful attention to what it is doing to you....it is no joke, it is way too strong to be starting that high of a dose...

Yes, cacao and nuts might help.

I can't give you an advice for your mind but if your body is tired, first sleep as much as you can, and if you are still tired, try arabica coffee and orange juice, and be careful because high doses can be dangerous.

Dude, you are still young, the last thing you need besides feeling like you already do (crap)is becoming a pharma junkie, take it from me, I know, and by reading some other to the point comments, I am certainly not the only one who knows, use nutrients and time. We are not special, meaning, VERY likely you can achieve the same as others have done before you, your cry for assistance has been answered by many, this would be a good time to pay attention.

    @provolon, hi.

You’re just one of the few who broke the spell. Unfortunately, there is more than just one spell cast upon the human populace.
By nature humans are sociable, resourceful, outgoing, caring, adventurous, creative, and always eager to learn. This is in all of us. I believe you are aware of this and feel alone because many of us are still under certain spells, often relinquishing their god giving abilities and common sense to the hands of a few who don’t really hold your best interest at heart.
Maybe you see how many people are scared to stand up for themselves, scared to stand up to their oppressors, scared to put in the efforts that will actually bring about change. You see life is easy but it is us that are actually making it hard. You see how divided we are and how easy it is for us to stay divided. You see us collectively wasting our potential; you see the constant complaining without holding anyone accountable, and the selfishness of man can be very disheartening because it totally goes against our true being.

Perhaps you think you are not from here because you can’t fathom how the human societies go about their daily lives willingly oblivious and tolerant to all kinds of injustices and unnecessary suffering.

It’s ok, thou. Actually, I’m glad you’re feeling this way. It shows that you’re in tune to the times, as there are still many in denial and stagnated. The hard part to all of this is “acceptance”. We have to let people grow at their own pace, all you can do is be the example. Everyone is an example, each one teach one in one way or another. We are becoming more aware so we can share and start shedding the fear. We are making progress, so do only what’s in your creative power to aid in our collective advancement.

In the past, most of the world was trained to follow a chosen few, but today not so much …however, people still have the tendency to let others decide for them, this is habitual/traditional/ritual. Today more people are starting to spread their own wings and become more of who they are. They can’t move forward if they choose to let media propaganda construct the way they think...this has always held us down because the images we take in from media sparks our imagination ...often in a negative way.

When you think for yourself you see many of the schemes, you see how easily we can be manipulated, you learn how to effectively problem solve and become very creative in remedying your own issues….as you will always be the true one person that knows what’s best for you.

Now imagine if we can get everyone to feel this way, to see how we collectively choose to live… then we will forcefully change the world to a much more fair and prosperous one… for all. Just don’t give up on others, in doing so you’ll be giving up on yourself.

    Peace
    --
Humans created so much wonder through their division, just imagine what they can do through Unity...

Just a thought, but I work with an extremely good multi vitamin, mineral and several natural extracts that we have come to see regulates peoples blood in several way. My daughter has panick attacks and depression but realized while using this she felt so good she forgot her meds. Not trying to talk you into a sale, what I am saying is extremely good and natural products have affects on the body in a great way that was not even the target. You are NOW in a human body, so use natural elements to take care of it.
Secondly, previously you spoke of the wanting to be in nature, with natives and live natually. You may be connected to humans by the body you are in, but you have a connection to this planet and Universe. In Hawaii you felt great. Sunlight was good on you. Get more. Take your shoes off for 20 minutes a day and sink them in the dirt, grass or sand and meditate. Ground yourself in your home, it's easy to find on the web. But you have a connection to natural elements and the drugs you are given are not a connection. They will DE-Connect you. Aspirin helps a headache, but does not fix the nerves that cause the headache. No masks my friend, time for you to connect to what you know. You have been given the great people on this forum for a reason. They are the beggining of your connection. Listen, learn, love, for the people here will give all of that back to you. Yup, me too. This place called earth is also very alien to me. Don't let things impress you too much, while depression and fatigue are nothing but a natural reaction. Be yourself, and let your light shine. You are among friends.

Provolon, I totally understand where you are coming from. I was diagnosed ADD as a kid and I believe the diagnosis is correct, though I think it's overdiagnosed. Just to be clear, I don't have the hyperactive kind. When I was a teenager I was prescribed dexedrine, but I took myself off because I didn't like the way it made me feel (hands shaking, cotton mouth, occasional nausea, lack of appetite.)

I was determined to train myself to overcome it. With mixed results. I was a terrible student, mainly because of procrastination and not paying attention in class. I would daydream a lot and had poor time management. I did finally graduate high school a year late after going to a continuation school. It was only after I was in my 20s that I decided to try stimulants again, mainly because I wanted to write novels. Trying to be a novelist with ADD is just about the worst career move I could make, but that's what I wanted to do.

I've always treated drugs as tools for specific purposes and I don't have an addictive personality at all. So, I got a prescription for adderall, and while I enjoyed getting some things done, it didn't give me what I wanted, which was the ability to power through that wall of procrastination and get straight to work. It's good for getting chores done, but for a task like writing it's not well suited. It doesn't bring the necessary clarity, and also, I would spend four hours writing, editing and re-editing the same paragraph, and that's not going to get it done.

I switched to ritalin instead, hoping that would work. I felt focused on it, but still it didn't give me results. So now, I am off of them. Honestly, the only stimulant that ever got me to write at all, was Ephedrine. I would buy it at the liquor store. But eventually it was taken off the market because of health concerns, so I couldn't get it anymore. Probably for the best, because its pharmacological profile is far from ideal. It is something that I wouldn't want to take regularly.

If I really need to get something done and have no other recourse, I will drink a bunch of a chai and take a couple sudafed. Which works sometimes, but it's probably worse for you than ephedrine, so I wouldn't recommend it. And plus, most people don't get any such results from sudafed/pseudoephedrine, so I seem to be a rare case in that.

I've considered trying to get an Rx for Desoxyn, which is pharmaceutical grade methamphetamine. Oh yes, they do prescribe meth, but they make you jump through all kinds of hoops to get it and keep getting it. But it seems rather extreme, and I've always hated being around meth heads. I've never actually done illicit meth. But I have had the desire to try Desoxyn.

I know right know the anti-psychmeds people must be shaking their heads reading this post, but I want to emphasize that *they do not understand what you and I go through.* They don't understand the amount of sheer effort and willpower it takes to accomplish big tasks, much less satisfy other people's expectations that we "make something of ourselves".

I would say, if you haven't tried the supplement route Chinaski is talking about, try that. I haven't gone that route because it's rather expensive buying those supplements and insurance won't pay for them. I have a friend who has suggested I try out different nootropics like the racetams (like piracetam, anaracetam...his newest favorite is phenylpiracetam) but money is still a factor in that as well. You have to order them online. Anyway, best of luck to you.

There are two kinds of aliens that born as human,
    a) The ones that can contact their alien family, travel ships, remember past lives.
    b) The ones that before coming to Earth told their family "please don't contact me" even if I yell you to do it.
Well I don't know about that. If it's b), then it's conjecture. So is it conjecture that what you're experiencing is a chemical 'problem', and needs fixing with chemicals. That's the pharmaceutical viewpoint.

If b) is a fact, then the 'problem' must be one of the conditions that you asked to not be contacted over. I do agree with your conclusion; that you're sent here, and part of your training is that you're on your own. I feel the same way. I have had a little contact in the interim, but it was acknowledgement and encouragement, (and thanks) not solutions to what I thought were my problems.
Our 'problems' are the curriculum. If you planned a picnic and it begins to rain, you move the picnic inside. Or make another plan. Or don't plan, and accept the moment for what it's offering you. Go out into the rain.

'Sensitive' gets a bit of a bad rap in this culture, where human value is placed on activity and productivity rather than inner values and contribution to the well being of the minds around us. Paradoxically most 'problems' that people need counseling and medication for are to do with that imbalance in our inner values. I sedated my overabundance of sensitivity and energy for most of my life. I did a lot of work, and a lot of good, with very little understanding of who and what I was. The consequence was an eventual collapse of my adrenals, and a new set of conditions. Extreme fatigue.
It's inevitable that if you are too active doing, without a balance of 'knowing', that you'll be given the opportunity to balance your mind with your energy.

Let me offer an unsolicited observation from a healer's viewpoint. You have no lack of chi. A therapist might suggest that it's blocked, and of course for a therapist to maintain an identity as a therapist, also suggest that it's a problem and get on to a solution. And that's what you've been doing in your searching among alternatives. Looking for an external solution to an internal condition.
I'm going to offer that your chi is being withheld. Stored. Nothing external is doing that to you. It's not an existential problem unless you agree that your value is in your external 'doing'. Your value is in who and what you are. If you want to turn your vision outward, direct it to those around you. Shift your concern for yourself to your concern for the whole. That doesn't mean you go around fixing everyone else and neglect yourself, as I discovered in a rather confronting way.

The overwhelm that a sensitive (I'm referring to about 20+% of the people on this planet who largely consider themselves either alien or 'sick' and unwelcome here) that a sensitive feels when they take responsibility for the whole, is part of their learning to be be both compassionate for other's lessonwork, and appropriate in how they assist. You're a helper sent here to help. That's part of your growth in your own bigger agenda. You're not here to fix what you view as problems, but to assist in the growth that confrontation is meant to achieve. We're building a brighter, more responsible, more unified mankind.
That ability begins in you and your own compassion for and understanding of yourself.
A psychotherapist who has never practiced psychotherapy on himself, is a parrot. Now they just look in an index of 'syndromes' and follow the line across to the drug they've invented to manage it. Synthetic energy burns up the vessel.

Your energy is directed inward, which is both uncomfortable and necessary. You view the outer world as inside you, which is exactly where it is.
The other 80% (give or take) of identities manage themselves with distraction and diversion and material productivity and because they don't know any better, they'll promote that as healthy and normal. It's necessarily aggressive and narcissistic. It doesn't work for you, it's not fulfilling. That's not your way. You can't be both 'You' and what the world tells you you should be. That will eventually be their lesson too.

Let that unending dialogue that's going on your mind include compassion and appreciation for yourself, and it will begin to support you in your difference. Eventually you'll be tapping into information that doesn't seem to come from you (if you aren't already) and you'll begin to recognize where and how you're being used in the bigger picture. There's a lot more going on than individuals all out slicing off their own little pieces of joy pie.
Fulfilling your function here as a responsible (patient and enduring) assistance to the whole will be your joy.

Nature will support you. Silence will support you. Pure whole food will support you. And REST will support you. Don't regard rest as wasted time. Your energy will be there when it's needed, for what it's needed for. It's going to be needed in a big way. It's boundless, but don't squander it on anxiety over what's happening or not happening. How you want things to be is clearly not always or even often how it is. God's got you. Get into a little bit of trust in something bigger.

Well you got what you asked for ... abandonment

what are you going to do with it ?

amphetamines will fry your spirit centre by reducing seratonin faster than your body can make it. Seratonin is pretty much the pre cursor to all mood and happiness feelins ,positive emotions and because it takes a while for it to be replenished you get into a downward spiral if you dont stop using meth.

    Eat seratonin creating foods

    Blue Berries
    Banana
    Strawberries
    Oranges
    Pumpkin Seeds
    Fish Oil

    and therer are more ..

the triggers for the use of meth or anphetamines are sadness or emotional triggers .. you can see with no seratonin to make you happy again that pretty much anything will trigger you to use more .. so you just have to look at the Meth and anphetamine cure and thats one word. Honesty.

maybe thats why you wanted to experience this ?

    best of luck

    N
