My visitor just left...she is going to help us with cat sitting, so we can be free to travel a bit more.
These are dark days, and really not much is happening.
Everyone I know, including me, is dragging themselves...low energies.
The good news is that people are getting healthier...none of the doctors
are seeing anywhere near as many patients as they were a year ago.
The bad news is how to pay rents and wages, without laying people off.
Rethinking the future, just as I had anticipated.
Our building permits were refused.
No one can build near the river any longer...
although the Commission for Emergencies have done a study and given the green light.
Looks like someone in the Municipal Office is hoping for a back-hander.

Here and now, I'm sitting here, listening to the sound of police swat teams doing 'single target-mass shooting' practices, at the shooting range nearby. They are 'mass take down exercises'. Whatever name they wish to give it.

It is so close to another sound heard in the past, that it is indistinguishable from that other sound.

The one heard by people cowering in their houses, hiding, as a best they could. As... off in the distance, just out of the way, on the edge of the woods, or in a clearing..where their relatives, friends and townsfolk stood in a trench or ditch, or field..and were simultaneously mowed down. And then a few shots for the still living among them. A short break where a round of lime is thrown at the given layer of bodies (if they were lucky), then another batch is stood in the ditch, and again..the same. I'm listening to the replicate sound of the creation of mass graves, and I've been subjected to it for years.

Yeah, it's a day where I get to hear a pack of what is most assuredly low level Freemasons... being collectively and reflexively paranoid,and living that paranoid world and life. I'm listening to them practice murder, all day. Just a bit hard to take, especially when they think they are projecting and being 'god fearing' and society maintaining 'peacekeepers'. Real salt of the earth aware types, for sure.

My posting can inadvertently turn a bit peckish. Not what I want, so I get away and try to re-balance myself. The universe only give you what you can handle, boy-o-boy, it gets crazier than that..but I can't share that stuff.

Hello Christine, and welcome to the Here and Now thread.
This place feels like a Village as everybody knows each other.
Yet we all still have our little secrets, and our own little cottages,
and can close the front door when we want privacy.
But when we want to mingle there is always someone ready to chat across the garden fence.
We all have our little dream cottages and there is the Village barn
which has trillions of dollars in it and Villagers can just go and help themselves when they are in need.
And once in a while we have a ball, and everyone plays their favorite music. Check the posts of September 14th, 2013...
The Village celebrated two years...and it was a lovely party.
Even Bill Ryan himself showed up and joined in.
But mainly this thread is about energy- shared energy.
When anyone is in need the others rush right in to send healing vibes,
and you will be amazed at how this works.
You just need to say the word 'help'...

To my village family ... this is something like the little faery cottage I imagine for the village. Close enough to be neighborly, but plenty of distance for gardens and wandering. There are a couple of friendly tabby cats in and out of the doors, and my big white fluffy Frasier dog is always by my side, nimble as a pup. Our work changes with the seasons... in summer we spend cool mornings in the garden, and harvest herbs when the sun has dried the dew and brought the oils up high in the plant, for the best medicinal effect. Bees buzz in abundance and give me a small share of honey and beeswax in return for the lemon balm and flowers I plant. Afternoons are spent lolling under the wisteria trellis, reading and studying. Sometimes friends come over for Earl Gray tea and dark chocolate cookies.

Autumn days are spent in the kitchen, making jars of salt-fermented veggies from the garden and pickled spicy fruit. Sour cherries sit in good brandy, the slow making of cordial to be bottled at Christmas time. Herbs are tinctured or put in vinegar for mineral tonics. Heirloom rose petals release their fragrance into almond oil. The herb room cupboards fill up with rose cream, peppermint lip balm, calendula lotion bars, and herbal soap.

Winter is a happy blur -- sledding on the hill out back, and after, rounds of hot cocoa in Gigi's little red ceramic pot... it's magic you know, never runs out of hot cocoa. Bring all the children you know; they bring their own magic to a sledding party.

The blazing fireplace draws friends close to its hearth, as we draw together here.

Susan and I sit and talk about our times together. Sometimes we stay up late. I've been caught mopping the kitchen floor at midnight.

So stop on by ... open house 24/7/365. The kettle heats to boiling in a jiffy and I have the perfect blend for you.
