Behind the scenes, concerns have been raised that the inevitable "noise" that will accompany the February announcement mentioned below may inadvertently stifle the breadth and depth of public discussion relating to the announcement. That is, claims and counter-claims, arguments and heated rhetoric, may inhibit people from understanding the implications of the contents of the announcement. For this reason, I have been encouraged to make a series of "Implications Postings" that will be related to the announcement. None of the Implications Postings will be directly addressed in the February announcement, but the public is being encouraged to "connect the dots" on their own, thereby widening the effective scope of the announcement's content. Beginning Monday, 3 February 2014, I will post the first of these Implications Postings. This will continue every few days until the actual announcement is made sometime in February.

It doesn't match with that part of the OP ... I guess it has something to do with religion or other intelligent life or both.
If he says that part of the message is posted on his Facebook page then I am not expecting groundbreaking 'official' statements.

Mayans saying that 18-19 Feb 2013 an internal change would take place inside the Earth that would eventually lead to an evolution in consciousness on the planet.

Environmental changes are associated with ascension because indigenous people have said that the ending of cycles / equinox, the old cycle will crumble - shift from male (financial, Internet, etc) to female. At the same time there is a spiritual aspect to these changes. Everything is getting stressed. This is a male problem. The female aspect is being born right now and is getting stronger by the minute. She will create structures that will come from the heart, not the mind. This is a great time to be alive; this is a difficult time, not easy. Changes coming from all of this are worth it.

There are also predictions about Planet-X/Nibiru passing.
I believe we will live it.
Kryon is also promising us interesting times (listen @ 12:00min), especially to the greedy and in control.

This is getting interesting. Well he can make as many announcements as he wants.
Lots of announcements are made daily. People need some real proof.

Ill take a crack and say our solar system, moons, and planets are "by design" and other systems are as well.

All very interesting. Courtney Brown has some credibility, so I will wait and see what he has to say.

However, making an announcement in February? Doesn't he realise that Mercury is retrograde for most of the month?

If he wanted to make sure that the announcement would be misunderstood, Mercury retrograde is the time to do it.

My best guess is that the announcement is about the interaction of ETs with humans in ancient history, maybe ET genetic manipulation of humanity.

Of course, if the only evidence he can provide for this is based on remote viewing, I doubt it will get much traction. This is coming from someone who believes in ET genetic manipulation of humanity.

Anyway, let's wait and see. It's great to have a running commentary on this thread!

lol... Everytime something absurd happens, aligned to the times we are living, I use to say that i'm tired of watching trailers of the end of the world (as we know it) without getting the actual end!... I hope it to premiere soon... May not be an easy movie... but it's definetly an imperative one.

And yeah, I know we won't be in the couch... but in the play. Just longing for it/we all to change.

There are recent discoveries that suggest that Atlantis is ... in the Atlantic ocean (I wonder where that name came from )
So if there are serious/official announcements made in February Courtney will be able to say "I told you so" with findings from the
remote viewing sessions of the Atlantis project.

When this all happens we're of course a step closer to disclosure because it could prove that there were more advanced civilizations
before our current one and it is possible that, despite being 'advanced', they vanish in the blink of an eye.
This could then easily be abused by the TPTB as an intro to scare us for our own demise.
