Delhi temperature touches 47.8 C, highest in 62 years

Temperature in the Capital touched 45.1 degree Celsius on Sunday while it was 47.8 degree C in and around Palam airport making it the hottest day in 62 years giving no respite to people reeling under a blistering heat wave.

Adding to the woes of heat-ravaged Delhiites, frequent power cuts across the city aggravated the situation and made life miserable.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said there is no relief likely from the heat wave on Monday and similar weather conditions will continue.

Today's blast does not have a strong Coronal Mass Ejection associated as the eruption itself was short lasting and impulsive."

Bear burglar stealing honey caught on camera in China

"A black bear has recently destroyed more than 70 beehives while stealing honey at a bee breeding base in a natural reserve in northeast China. The base started reporting beehive missing cases since the end of May and suspected that it was done by wild animals.

The monitoring video showed that the black bear first opened a beehive with its mouth and ran away very quickly, which the staff analyzed as a move to avoid bee stinging.

The black bear came back later and carried away the beehives after the bees inside the hives had flown away, monitoring video showed."
