3 people 'possessed' when using Ouija board

Three Americans who were reportedly playing with a Ouija board in a Mexican village
have been rushed to hospital after showing the sort of disturbing signs and behavior
more commonly associated with demonic possession.

Alexandra Huerta, 22, her brother Sergio, 23, and their 18-year-old cousin Fernando Cuevas were playing with a Ouija board in the village of San Juan Tlacotenco in south-west Mexico before all three became allegedly possessed by evil spirits who used the Ouija board as a gateway to enter the land of the living.

Minutes after the trio had started dabbling with the Ouija board, also known as a spirit board or talking board, Alexandra is reported to have fallen into a “trance-like” state.

The youngster is then said to have started growling maniacally like a dog and thrashed around uncontrollably like a wild animal. She is also reported to have started laughing uncontrollably and when asked why, replied, “We’re going to die.”

The Daily Mail reported that Sergio and Fernando were also said to have demonstrated visible signs of “possession” after using the Ouija board to make contact with the dead.

Alongside feelings of disorientation, blindness, and deafness, the two were also reported to have suffered from vivid hallucinations after using the Ouija board.

Alexandra’s parents explained that their child was forcibly restrained to prevent her from hurting herself and paramedics were called to the house where the Ouija board was used to take the three “possessed” friends to hospital.

According to Alexandra’s parents, paramedics were only called after a local Catholic priest had refused to preform an exorcism on the three friends because they were not regular churchgoers.

In place of holy water, crucifixes, and prayers, the paramedics used a combination of painkillers, anti-stress medication, and eye drops. The treatment apparently appeared to do the trick when it came to clearing up any symptoms caused by the Ouija board.


The director of public safety in the nearby town of Tepoztlan, Victor Demeza said:

“The medical rescue of these three young people was very complicated. They had involuntary movements and it was difficult to transfer them to the nearest hospital because they were so erratic.

It appeared as if they were in a trance-like state, apparently after playing with the Ouija board. They spoke of feeling numbness, double vision, blindness, deafness, hallucinations, muscle spasm and difficulty swallowing.”


Mr. Demeza would not comment on wether the trio who dabbled with the Ouija board were really possessed or had simply convinced themselves that was the case in an outbreak of group hysteria.

Many religions and some occultists have long warned against the dangers of using a Ouija board, and have advised that casually trying to contact the dead is never a particularly good idea.

The ouija board is NOT a toy, but an ancient tool of witchcraft. It can very well call things to you that you are not prepared to deal with. Way back when they hit the market big time, in the late 60s', everybody was buyin them like hotcake. Many were experiencing all sorts od wierd "stuff" in there life. My cousins wife, and her family were havin some really, realy strange things happen to them. Untill the movie Exorsist, came out, and everyone I know that had one, through them in the garbage. ccc.

Remember that movie? It was based on a true story about a little girl that had called a demon to her.

My experience is that these days there are plenty of people getting possessed without using a Ouija board.
You just have to walk into any bar here in rural Costa Rica...not a place I would recommend, ever.
And every single family here is carrying the weight of at least one member addicted to drugs,
and they all have entities attached to them.
So we have our work cut out, as healers.
Modern priests often don't even want to believe in exorcism any more...so good luck calling a clergyman.

That may be true, but the odds of an 'open line' or 'open call' bringing advantage to a person are very slim.

No-one, or very few.. know and understand the correct protocols for making sure they get connection to what they desire to be connected with and to.

The board is not the issue, it is merely a focal system for the person to focus with. Like mantras, books, stories, myths, a soft voice, NLP voice, hypnotism, self hypnosis, regression therapy, watching tv (passive trance), Micheal Newton's past life and in-between life hypnosis, DMT trips, Buddhist training, pagan training, Scrying, dowsing, trance....and much more... all the same.

The only known figure who used and still uses that avenue of communication while retaining her sanity is Laura Knight-Jadczyk. I think somewhere in her website she has videos explaining how to avoid the common pitfalls of "channeling"/calling in various "dead dudes" as she calls them.

Yeah but the boards are much more easy to access, especially for (mindless) people with no knowledge/respect of the potential in the unseen...I have been fascinated with the mass production of them, and have been thinking about how to start a thread of the implications of them being a "toy" in so many houses during that time period.

The other "same" things you mention weren't mass produced and marketed for decades as toys...I think there's a huge difference there, and it is an issue...perhaps the dark side's second most effective invention (next to the teevee...also see the Exorcist).

The exorcist I know has, at times, had to deal with the after effects of people playing with the Ouija Board.

To add, the I ching, Fortune telling, psychic capacities, tarot cards, 'The essence of Jim Marrs book 'PSI spies'....all of that is all the same energetics, the same stuff - differently handled.

So, you have your hole, for this reality to exist, and millions of empirical examples of observation that it is real. Billions of observations on this being real. Empirical and investigation in those areas to the tune of thousands of studies, all done via proper scientific protocol, with the correct answers coming out of them. Indisputable. it is right there. Yet, the controlled science of academia, and so on, refuses to look at it, even though it describes their 'missing numbers', their error, to utter perfection.

It is just that the average human universe... is NOT AWARE that science has the giant humongous hole in it's calculations. they don't really KNOW that science is hell bent on 1000 percent refusal to look at this broadband and wholesale descriptor for their missing energy.

Which goes back to Adam Weishaupt, secret societies.... and my personal opinion that science and academia was both created and infiltrated at the same time, as an effort to shut down this avenue of understanding in emergent systems of pure logic, which would have exposed this reality.

That we've been corrupted to go BACKWARD and away from some excruciatingly KEY components of our understanding of reality.... for the past 400 years.

The more willing we are, as individuals to realize and living the knowing of, consciously and always, in all things..that we are about 10-15% conscious, at best, and the rest... 85-90% is just a 'wobbly monkey'.... the more we can change that ratio to a better one, for ourselves and for everyone else. One cannot change that, until they realize and exist within it's knowing and living with it, as reality. The correct problem begets the correct answer. They are mirrors of one another, like all of similar nature. Know and realize and be within the problem, and then.... it begets the answer.

My best friend's sister and I were trying to figure out who opened the door, her and my sis or me and her bro...she has a nasty entity in her joint (she has more sensitivity to such things, I would guess her) since we were kids. I know in my heart and mind they have Parker Brothers to thank for that dude.

It's probably closer to a century...conscious adults, and silly kids, inviting ??? into their house.

As for benevolents? Why would they use a tool so easily used to decieve? I believe that's what determines their benevolence/malevolence, whether they decieve or not...not sure how many "honest" beings would use that to reveal themselves...

I think it might be a bit inappropriate to lump Ouija in with Buddhism and meditation... those are arts of peace.

Modern Ouija is definitely meant to be adult humor, not a children's party game -- frankly, kids aren't ready for the sort of shock that is possible.

But in terms of whether it's "wrong" to use an Ouija board -- think about WHERE it was being used.
In Mexico what kind of ghosts would people expect to find? There could be spirits of people sacrificed by the Aztecs,
spirits of people killed by the Conquistadors, etc...

I think location and intention is EVERYTHING when you're using Ouija.
Because some ghosts are bound to a very specific location.

Sometimes it's just better not to play with fire... Humans have the tendency to be curious creatures, but curiosity killed the cat too. Some of the (pandora's) boxes should be just kept shut. It's like giving a loaded gun to a baby, absolutely stupid and irresponsible, people will get hurt. I just advise not to play with these energies. We already have enough problems dealing with many dark energies. If you want the help of benevolent beings, you have this thing called prayer. Hello there, Donk, Ouija is not a device. You don't need the board, you can just write the letters on scrap office paper, if you like, and then cut the squares out and make an imaginary board and it will work all the same.

The reason why it will not be prohibited as a toy (from being sold openly, readily) is because that would imply an authoritative acknowledgment of other realms which probably coincides with motivations of other authorities not acknowledging, for instance, unidentified objects spotted here and there.

Of course then you could wonder, is mass hysteria really going to break out once people realise all that stuff is real...Well, who knows? In terms of mass hysteria, people seem quite unaffected by some gruesome things going on in the world right now, wars, famine, children abused and exploited. Everything is being watched on TV as entertainment to go with the soup.

So, i'm not sure if people like that can really be driven into hysteria by a wooden board or a saucer (anymore).

I doubt this is a deliberate tool (I already explained the board is not a required tool) to keep us busy. In fact keeping us busy, here, would be a euphemism for messing people's life up or ending it altogether.

No, I see this as a medium that by now is understood by both parties to be an agreement between the parties (humans and the others) to communicate on a ... very unstable, volatile, unsafe basis. Both parties know the risks. Humans that engage here are actually driven by the risk. They're bored, they want action and excitement. The other party is intelligent enough to know this and if they are also bad enough, they will exploit it. That is why, I think, it's mostly bad entities that answer such calls, it's the easiest way to a prey. The good entities - I heard - also drop by in Ouija, but - I'm guessing now - maybe once they come and see that the human audience that called them is not at all interested in an intellectual dialogue to gain whatever deeper understanding of things and basically are just out to use them in order to gain some quick and meaningless information (is my boyfriend cheating on me, am I wearing panties right now, how many beers will I have finished by midnight), they are put off and not motivated to come back anymore. Maybe a few charity workers persist to warn users of the risks, I don't know.

Just, watch your kids and watch the movies (esp. horror movies) that they watch. A lot of these movies romanticise the use of this board. Kids will want to try it. And when they do, they are in great danger.
