Are they concerned about terrorism or is that a psyop? What do you think?

If the psyop is successful then concern for terrorism can escalate. What starts off as a scare
tactic can fade after several months in the news cycle. Or develop new developments ie,
radicalising small groups in various countries which is now easier with the web , which
is what the authorities are worried about. But is this being encouraged by intel' groups
and interest groups on behalf of those who's agenda wants conflict in the middle east

It would be interesting if behind the scenes, actually the US and CHINA had forged an intense relationship, because of the immense investment that CHINA has in US and Canadian industry (oil investments, medical investments, real-estate investments). It behooves China to protect it's financial investments. They have not invested substantially in RUSSIA (except to provide token investment to foster an energy deal that has been 10 years in the making), if anything Russian business is a competitor to Chinese energy interests worldwide.

While on the surface China says it is supporting Syria, they want ENERGY and minerals, and to be allowed to get those. Vast areas of Russia ARE good oil sources AND mineral sources. It would be interesting if Russia was eaten alive when it attacks with it's nuk-we-ar veapons, just who goes after them.. It won't be the US probably..

September 1969, as officials came to terms with a three-part Israeli refusal – to sign
the Non-Proliferation Treaty; to agree to American inspection of the Dimona nuclear
facility; and to condition delivery of fighter jets on Israel’s agreement to give up nuclear
weaponry in exchange for strategic ground-to-ground Jericho missiles “capable of
reaching the Arab capitals” although “not all the Arab capitals.”

I was looking through Pravda's website to see their "interpretation" of Putin's remarks, they have a ton of articles against anything european or western. Kept saying something like 'ur taking it out of context..' apparently referring to the journalists reporting Putin's intentions.. (see the article I added in the post above from Pravda)

UPDATE - Adding in a little more - http://www.plant.ca/general/athabasc...ochina-138516/ PetroChina takes over Dover Oil sands project in Canada. THIS IS how they operate, they invest and slowly increase the funding stakes until they take over all the resources. They will not let Canada or the US interests be threatened by Russia because they want the resources, and certainly don't want a Saddam situation like in Kuwait..

presence of Russian military units in Ukraine have posed a stark new challenge to the alliance
about how to respond to Moscow’s apparent willingness to exert military force to achieve its
foreign policy goals.

The Kremlin did not deny the remark, which was published in the Italian newspaper La Repubblica
on Monday, but on Tuesday it denounced the European official, José Manuel Barroso, for leaking
details of what Mr. Putin understood to be a private telephone call.

“Whether these words were said or not, in my viewpoint, the quote given is taken out of context,
and it had an absolutely different meaning,” said Yuri Ushakov, a Kremlin aide, according to the

instructors working at a secret base in Jordan, according to informed Jordanian officials.

The officials said dozens of ISIS members were trained at the time as part of covert aid to
the insurgents targeting the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in Syria. The
officials said the training was not meant to be used for any future campaign in Iraq.

The Jordanian officials said all ISIS members who received U.S. training to fight in Syria
were first vetted for any links to extremist groups like al-Qaida.

In February 2012, WND was first to report the U.S., Turkey and Jordan were running a
training base for the Syrian rebels in the Jordanian town of Safawi in the country's
northern desert region.

That report has since been corroborated by numerous other media accounts.

I had pointed out West Africa situation with Ebola outbreak - those west african countries could have gone with RUSSIA or CHINA to exploit their resources.. Everything seems to point it is RUSSIAN bioweapons release to get the west Africans (maybe even Nigeria too) to go with RUSSIAN energy/mineral exploitation. It seems if anything US/CHINA are in bed together economically.. And Russia is doing what it can to sabotage it all, more so than what is seen in the media with who is backing Syria, or who is training IS agents.. U.S. super-majors like Exxon Mobil failed to even bid on any of the fields in IRAQ - there apparently is NO US interest in developing those fields in IRAQ.

The deal was a coup for Lukoil, which had been granted the rights to develop the field in 1997 by Saddam Hussein only to see the dictator rescind the $3.7 billion contract five years later.

Lukoil had been trying to revive the deal since 2003 after Moscow wrote off most of Iraq's $12.9 billion in debts.

WHO WAS trying to get a hold of that oil, and who was beat by RUSSIA?

Lukoil and Statoil beat out three other consortiums led by:

• Britain's BP PLC,
• France's Total SA and
• Malaysia's state-run Petronas

were trying to to nab the rights to develop the mammoth field.

In the Russia-China Gas Deal, Did Putin Win?

So in striking a big new deal to supply natural gas to China, has Vladimir Putin outmaneuvered the U.S. and its European friends yet again?

Putin called today's accord an "epochal event."

At the same time, this agreement to supply China with gas has been in the works for 10 years, and a deal had been widely expected this year. The two countries had been haggling mainly over price.

WHERE does the volume of gas go that Russia has then EUROPE or to CHINA? China will pay a bit less than Europe pays for Russian gas.

What the deal doesn't signify -- not yet, at least -- is a global realignment that puts the U.S. and Europe at a grave disadvantage. The tortuous history of Russia-China relations shows that their long-term interests are not complementary. Putin won't want Russia to depend on China any more than he wants it to depend on Europe. Anyway, the gas exports in the new pact, once on-stream in 2018, will be about a quarter of what Russia sells to Europe.

The crisis has escalated a State Department initiative to use a new boom in American natural gas supplies as a lever against Russia, which supplies 60 percent of Ukraine’s natural gas and has a history of cutting off the supply during conflicts.

This week, Gazprom, Russia’s state-run natural gas company, said it would no longer provide gas at a discount rate to Ukraine, a move reminiscent of more serious Russian cutoffs of natural gas to Ukraine and elsewhere in Europe in 2006, 2008 and 2009.

Over the past week, Congressional Republicans have joined major oil and gas producers like ExxonMobil in urging the administration to speed up oil and natural gas exports. Although environmentalists, some Democrats and American manufacturing companies that depend on the competitive advantage of cheap domestic natural gas oppose the effort, they have fallen to the sidelines in the rush.

For Russia, energy supplies are as important to keeping a hold on Ukraine and the other former countries of the Soviet Union as is the Russian Army itself. Ukraine would freeze without Russian gas, and its flow has been a considerable source of wealth and corruption in both countries. But Russia is also obligated by contract to provide natural gas to Western Europe, and Moscow remains highly dependent on Ukrainian pipelines to get it there.

David Dalton, the editor of the Economist Intelligence Unit, said: “Russia has always used gas as an instrument of influence.

"The more you owe Gazprom, the more they think they can turn the screws.”

Found this - earlier on Foley - also heard some discussion that the current murder of Sotloff "seems to be staged" similarly, that the actual beheading may not be real but faked, with authority saying the murder afterwards no doubt is real.. ??

"British intelligence said a London rapper who traveled to Syria last year to fight with Islamist militants is suspected of beheading American journalist James Foley last week, according to the British newspaper The Sunday Times.

"Marie Harf, a spokeswoman for the U.S. State Department, said U.S. intelligence officials have yet to confirm the killer's identity on the video showing the killing and continue to work the case.

"We're not in a position to say exactly who the man in the video is yet, but we are actively working with our British counterparts to determine that every day," Harf said. "There are a variety of ways to do this, and we're putting the full force of our resources behind that effort now."

"British intelligence agencies MI5 and MI6 identified the killer and named Abdel-Majed Abdel Bary, 24, as a key suspect, The Sunday Times reported, citing unnamed officials. Abdel Bary, also known as L Jinny or Lyricist Jinn in London, left a budding music career that included appearances on BBC Radio in 2012, several British newspapers reported.

"The younger Bary caused a stir earlier this year after he posted a photo of himself in Syria holding aloft a severed head, according to The Independent.

"British intelligence is using voice recognition technology to identify the man in the video who stood over Foley and spoke in a distinct London accent, Peter Westmacott, the British ambassador to Washington, told CNN. Westmacott said the suspected British national and other Westerners fighting with the Islamic State militant group represent a growing danger if such jihadists return from the front and engage in terrorism.

"The suspect's father, Adel Abdul Bary, was extradited in 2012 from the United Kingdom to the United States to face charges that he participated in al-Qaeda's 1998 attacks on two U.S. embassies in east Africa. The elder Bary had spent years in Egyptian prisons and was allowed to enter Britain as a political refugee.

"He was considered one of Osama bin Laden's closest lieutenants, The Guardian newspaper reported. He has pleaded not guilty and is scheduled to stand trial in November in federal court in Manhattan. One of his two co-defendants, Abu Anas al-Libi, was seized in October by U.S. special operations forces outside his home in Tripoli, Libya."

‘Leading up to the somber anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, there are fresh fears of possible
9/11-style attacks taking place across North Africa as radical Islamist groups in Libya have reportedly seized
nearly a dozen commercial airliners in the last month.

While counterterrorism officials are reportedly concerned that the missing jetliners could be used by terrorists
to carry out deadly attacks, the timing of the theft is also setting off alarms. The concern is that radical Islamist
groups will use the planes to mark the anniversary of the deadly 9/11 attacks, according to alleged intelligence
reports disseminated within the U.S. government.

Reports that Islamist militias have seized the jetliners come just weeks before the 13th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.’
